HIROE MIYASHIRO
""Doubt it. Anyway, I don't want to waste any more of your time."
Hiroe didn't ask him to be nice. She didn't want to be bothered right now. By and large, she simply wished to continue carrying out her duty until she fell out. Was this a specific order given solely to her? No, of course not. She recognized that as well as anyone. Even so, there were still enemies out here. She still wondered about her parents. None of this mattered right now. Whatever he was saying was ultimately irrelevant.
"Leave me alone."
Like that, she shunpo'd forward, dashing ahead to create some separation between them. If it was so difficult to help others, he might as well go elsewhere. The exhaustion was clear in her form, but she didn't care. None of it mattered right now. None of it mattered. None.

Kohaku’s eye twitched again. He was tired of seeing dead bodies, and with how exhausted this woman was, he would likely find her corpse next, if he couldn’t stop her. He watched her shunpo away, seeing that exhaustion in her form so clearly.
‘Just let her go… Don’t waste your time.’
‘And when has listening to you ever proven to be the right thing?’
‘Come on! Let’s go kill a few more of these fuckers! Let her die.’
‘No! Shut up.’
"Agh!" Kohaku could pull out his own hair with how stupid this woman was being. Most listened and went to the safe areas he could point out, but nooo this bitch had to fight to the point her hands were bleeding. His own stubbornness proving strong, he shunpo'd after the girl. Since he was no way near as exhausted, his form allowed him to catch up with her easily. However, he did not stop her. He stayed behind her about fifty feet, waiting for her to drop, since he could tell that was likely going to happen. Either that, or she'd run into something she couldn't handle and need the help. Besides, she was running into an area he had cleared of civilians, so this would be a perfect area for hollows to hide in. Kohaku kept himself on alert, just in case.

True, exhaustion was setting in, but what did it matter? This was probably another aspect of karma catching up to her. It wasn't like she neglected to feed herself lately. It wasn't like she had fought for several hours before this annoying man arrived. She could still go on. Eventually, she stopped using shunpo. From dashing to walking, she continued to navigate, thinking that she was free, even if she could still sense him. And then...
She stumbled. Her legs started to buckle. She was growing dizzy. In a futile attempt she had tried to shake her head to wake herself up, but it was ultimately a meaningless act to delay the inevitable. Step after step---
There was no more stepping. If any such thing had occurred, it was likely a figment of her imagination as she fell onto the ground, dropping her blade.

There it was. She was slowing down. That took a lot less time than he thought. As she began falling, he shunpo’d in front of her and let her fall over his shoulder. "Stupid girl..." The last thing she likely saw was his back as he stood up and let her hang there. He wasn’t going to carry her like a princess or anything. He had to watch out for hollows and shit. Luckily, he didn’t run into anything on his way back to his District. He had cleared a lot of it before then, so they traveled safely.
Kohaku couldn’t bring some girl to Tsubine’s place, so he found an abandoned hut that wasn’t absolute shit. He laid her down somewhere safe and searched a few nearby places for whatever supplies he could find. He found a couple of blankets and folded one up so she could use it as a pillow. Kohaku covered her up with the second blanket. For now, he waited for her to wake up and guarded her until then.

HIROE MIYASHIRO
"Mmgh..."
Hiroe remained relatively still beyond a few movements during her slumber. It wasn't until a few minutes that her movements grew more panicked, more antsy. Maybe it was a nightmare or maybe it was the pain she put her body through. Either way, it wasn't fun. Eventually, she woke up as though pulled from a nightmare, breathing heavily as she wiped the sweat from her head. What... happened?
Where was she right now? Golden eyes darted around the abandoned hut, and her bruised hand reached out to grab her zanpakuto, pointing it toward... thin air? No, that wasn't entirely correct. Even with her currently groggy vision, someone was here. She could sense their presence. Turning her head a few meters to the side, she could see... Oh great, it was him again.
"I thought I told you to leave me alone..."

Kohaku watched her struggle in her sleep. Wasn’t no hollow messing with her, so there was no way in hell he was getting close to her. With his luck, she was gonna wake up and try and cut off his head. He always got punished for being a nice guy… And people wondered why he preferred being a jackass! AND SHE DID IT TOO. SHE WOKE UP AND SWUNG THE DAMN SWORD. Kohaku’s eyes twitched.
‘I fucking knew it.’
"Yeah, and I told you that you were gonna get yourself killed," Kohaku said, crossing his arms in annoyance. "You fainted, and a hollow immediately came rushing out at your ass. You're lucky I fucking followed you." It was a lie, though simple and vague enough that it was easy to believe. Besides, he was also a good liar since he had to use that skill to get out of a lot of trouble over the years. "Why the hell you trying to die anyway? I get you lost someone, but dying don't bring them back."

HIROE MIYASHIRO
"I... shut up."
Hiroe turned her head away for a moment as she sighed. She was hiding her embarrassment. It wasn't her finest moment, but she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of being right. Not at all. In that next moment, a rumbling noise could be heard filling the room. At first, she didn't notice it, but then it got louder... and then she looked. It was her stomach.
"!"
Hiroe groaned loudly as she slammed her bruised fists against the pillows. Why didn't he just let her die? Ge seemed so agitated to be helping her, so why not let be a hollow's next meal? After pulling at hair for a moment, she exhaled softly as she rolled her eyes.
"I know that..."

Yeah, he didn’t shut up and for a bit, he ignored her stomach growling so he could get all of his frustrations yelled into the air. However, after admitting she understood him, Kohaku pulled something out of his pack. Anyone out here for long needed something to snack on. His was packed full of senbei and salmon onigiri.
“Now, here, you stupid woman,” Kohaku said, handing her three senbei and one onigiri. “I will force feed them to you, so don’t be an idiot.” Kohaku kept the rest for himself, pulling out one onigiri now to sate his hunger. “So, who’d you lose?”

HIROE MIYASHIRO
"My name is Hiroe..."
Hiroe sighed in defeat after Kohaku handed her his snacks. Poor moor or not, she recognized how rude it would be not to answer him when he was being helpful and persistent. Taking a bite of onigiri to sate her hunger pangs, she moved some of the locks of hair from her face as she took a moment. Then, she answered, eyes gazing at the walls.
"Kaito. He was a friend of mine from the Academy. We spent plenty of days together. Trained together. And eventually, graduated. Now, he's gone. Because of me."

Ah, okay. Yeah, that’d suck alright. Friend dies and it’s your fault? He could see why she was so fucking down on herself, but how the hell to get her to stop acting like a damn idiot? Dying too wasn’t going to do anything to help anyone. Besides, he doubted it was actually her fault. It was probably one of the hundreds of hollow, maybe even an Arrancar. If anything, she should blame the Gotei for failing to do the shit they promise, like always. What was the point of blaming yourself?
"Yeah, right... This one of those 'I could have stopped it' moments? Those are such bullshit. Unless you ran them through with your own blade, how the hell was your friend dying your fault? How'd he die? Yeah, explain that. How'd he die?"
