Blood Calls for Blood [Yuuto, Hisana, Ajora]

Eight thousand. Both a large and ultimately miniscule number in the grand scheme of things. Was he happy about things turning out this way? No. But, he knew his role, and this task had fallen to him. Stepping out of the Garganta provided by Hisana, Yuuto adjusted the half-mask around the lower end of his face. It was a simple face-covering, one that would at least prevent immediate recognition, especially from a distance.

Yuuto continually went over his own plan in his head, thinking of any possible way for it to fail and solutions to amend it. The time limit was the biggest issue. Normally, he would have taken his time to infiltrate and sabotage random places all around the world, ensuring that they would all be considered accidents, then ensure the number of souls had passed over.

But, he didn't have that luxury. Whether a test of his capacity or simply a way to ensure that things were returned to some semblance of normality before repairs were set underway, a day was all that he had been given. So, without a sound, he started making his way to where Ajora had been stationed.

He wanted a second opinion, and with him having brought her into the Stealth Force in part of her abnormal intelligence and skill, he was curious as to her thoughts, as well as seeing how quickly she could formulate a plan.

"I presume your assignment is finished?"

"Quite an understatement. We don't have time to waste."

The gentle cadence and gaze that the Stealth Force Captain typically held had been replaced with cold umber. It was good that she was already in such an isolated place. He couldn't sense anyone or anything nearby, either. Good, less chance of information being leaked by his own hand.

"Primarily, a second opinion. The scales need balancing to recuperate for the losses of the attack. Humans and the Vandenreich cannot know, under any circumstances. It does not matter how it's done, but my ideal is that Shinigami were never present in the first place. In all likelihood, that ideal won't be possible."

Yuuto knew that she would not need the full details in order to understand the greater picture. He had faith in her abnormal intelligence to connect the threads and piece together assumptions and ideas.

"Furthermore, we're under a time limit: a day. My current plan is, admittedly, simple. Mass sabotage, made to look as if it were a series of unfortunate events, or, at most, a human's work. A power outage at a hospital, faulty train lines, broken traffic lights. Mixed in with the proper manipulation of information, blame could be placed on a third party; a rogue Quincy, or even a terrorist group of Human or Arrancar."

Had he known where Akira was, had more time, and had more information, he would gladly try and put the blame on him. But, with what he had to work with, there were points where he had to get creative.

"What are your thoughts?"

When it came to situations like this, he hated whenever his instinct was right. But, there was no time to worry about it. He would adapt and accomplish his task, as he always did. Her points and criticisms were true, ones he was not the most eager in accepting. At the mention of her name, the masked Captain's head turned to look at Hisana, recalling information he had found about her. A particular ability she had would indeed be of considerable benefit, even beyond this current situation.

At the mention of her plan, while his face was obscured, his gaze was unchanged, unbothered by the idea of what they would have to do.

"It doesn't matter. This is nothing new for my job."

He had long since relinquished his hesitance toward "unsavory methodology." If it meant the job would be done, if it meant that the world could be balanced again, if it meant those he cared for and fought so hard to protect were safe, he would play whatever role was required. So, as Ajora handed him her Denreshinki, he looked over her plan, over and over.

It was cold and brutal. But, with the time frame he had been given, there weren't a lot of better options, especially when keeping the matter secret. At least, keeping the real reason a secret. After several minutes of silence, Yuuto finally looked up from the device, and gave a quiet nod.

"This can work. Let's not waste any more time."

Yuuto gave a light nod at Ajora's statement, taking in a deep breath. While the unsavory, underhanded methodology was nothing new, this particular scenario was one that was considerably less common. He needed to seem as if he were drawing enjoyment out of this. While he remained still so as to not disturb Ajora while she applied the disguise to him, that steely gaze softened ever so slightly.

"Miss Hisana. If it's of any comfort, know that the weight of this is not on you."

Perhaps, for her and for Ajora, it was a statement that ultimately meant nothing. But, he didn't care. Even through the urgency in his voice, even with everything he was about to do, there was still the man who always greeted those he cared for and protected, those he considered his friends, with love. If nothing else, the sentiment was genuine. Even with all the stubbornness, the sheer insanity of his desire to continue and push forward, there was still a man that lay underneath it all.

And so, the Stealth Force Captain gingerly took the pale mask, taking a moment to look at it, before setting it on his face. As a shell began to form around him, encroaching his entire body. The sudden influx of hundreds of years worth of someone else's memories caused his now-free hand to involuntarily twitch and his legs to buckle briefly as he tried to adjust to it. All the while, faint whispers and hissing echoed in the back of his mind, a sound completely disconnected from the current experience.

Nevertheless, he steeled himself and took in a deep breath, looking at himself. Certainly a...peculiar disguise, but, it would have to do. If nothing else, nobody would suspect him particularly with this look.
