Hardships take the form of lines in one's soul, and the lines that etch Adam's reveal he is but an honest lad. He's never found reason to be anything but. Though, don't let him catch someone off guard that deserves anything but the truth. He's a situationist, doing what he must to get by, whether it be stealing or lying. The one thing he finds despicable is senseless harming. If a situation can be resolved without violence, he'd rather travel that path. That's what makes him honest. He understands what he is and understands what life is. He'll never pretend to be anything more than what he is.

However, you could say he has a sense of justice at least. His parents were taken from him just because he exists. It wasn't a perfect life, but it was his, so he can't help but try to be good to others, especially those down on their luck. Helping someone doesn't mean he has to be their friend or even give them everything promised. He just has to make sure they're not too worse off than when he came into their life. Some could say that he's being overly complicated, but he'd just say that life is but an overcomplication.

Being part of a lineage of crafters, Adam was always destined to be a creator. His father, a North European man married his mother, a mixed Asian woman whose family had long been disowned by their ancestors. However, both sides contained the makeup of dwarves, excellent smiths of all types and forms. It was expected for Adam to pick up the craft.

However, Adam wasn't exactly interested as a kid. During his youth, he went through school like any other kid, living a normal life, albeit a little poor due to the nature of smithing as a career. His father brought home plenty enough, but his hobbies were sometimes expensive. It slowly created a rift between his parents, but he was never privy to their relationship. They both were taken from him by a Hollow. His parents did their best to keep out of any of the politics of the world, avoiding the Demons and monsters in their quiet town.

That meant Adam spent a lot of time traversing his small town, leaving out to the wooden areas outside it. He would avoid the graveyard though. For some reason, he swore he could see ghosts every now and then, and one time, he had thought he saw a horrifying black monster slithering about. Since it was all random sightings, he always figured it was stress from his familial situation. Hollows were talked about on the news at times, but to normal people like him, they were just things for others to worry about. He has no powers for them to satisfy themselves with after all.
 
It wasn't until Adam had woken up in a hospital, his great grandfather, who was perceived dead, appeared. The old man was said to had died due to a heart attack before Adam was even born, but here he stood, revealing to Adam a secret that he had kept to himself for a while. There's Quincy blood in his family, small traces, but it's there.

The news wasn't exactly shocking to a kid who had just survived a Hollow attack, but it was strange that he, of all people, was able to see the monster. Demons weren't invisible to the naked eye. Hollows, however, were silent killers, and Adam could recall seeing the dark shadow of it before it turned their car upside down, it's all too familiar visage to the one he witnessed in the graveyard. His great grandfather would reveal that it was Adam's ability to see it that brought it towards them. Their Quincy blood is recessive, but that didn't mean it would never affect one of them, and Adam's the unlucky one.

With his great grandfather the only living family member he has left; Adam was taken away. His life changed then as he was then pushed to train himself. This was one incident, but he was sure to have more as he got older, so his great grandfather decided to teach him the parts of his lineage he would have been denied otherwise.

Alongside this, Adam was also taught the trade of his families: smithing. It wasn't something he was good at, but he quickly picked up on it. There were many nights where he burned himself or dropped something heavy on his foot, but as the days turned into weeks, months, and years, he became a skilled smith. Alongside his powers. he had developed the knack for crafting with energy alone. A furnace became unnecessary as he created his own heat and molded weapons from the barest of materials.

Much like a Quincy, he seemed adept at using ambient energy to start a reaction with his own to fuel the transformation of objects around him. It was almost like alchemy. He further enhanced himself by studying up on weapons, tools, and such. He created his own weapons and ammo, testing the composition of his tools constantly to better understand his capabilities. Adam still didn't care much for smithing, but he had to admit he enjoyed making and breaking stuff.

Molten Reiatsu:
Thrown through the forge; Adam's body came out different than a normal person's, energized and capable of more. With his spiritual ability awoken, he now gives off a strong signature like most supernatural entities. His Reiatsu radiates from him like a kindled fire, warm to the touch. The heat is simple poetry and applies nothing outside of making one reminisce an open flame.

Forged Body:
Adam's body, enhanced, is now stronger than a normal person's body. Application of his Reiryoku reinforces his actions, but it can only enhance what is already equipped. A life as a builder, Adam's body was never frail. He's hefted metals, live fires, boulders, and the heaviest of equipment in his youth till now. A body of scars, burns, and sun kissed skin, Adam boasted strength that was already tipping into the verge of his race.

Martial Skill:
Adam's not exactly a conventional fighter. Knowing how to fight was just something he picked up after bothering his father about it. Making weapons is cool and all but knowing how to use them made the process even better. Looking at the edge of a blade and knowing it's going to cut perfectly after swinging it was the best, it still is now. However, his knowledge of any martial arts isn't bordering into anything surreal. His main attractive is to understanding weaponry, so that's where most of his prowess lies. There isn't a single weapon Adam can't identify, going as far as to understand their strengths and weaknesses in an extremely practical and impractical sense.
