Forger M [WIP]

» Appearance Written: Forger is a large bear, with long strips of deep red fur, with black and grey fur covering the rest of him with patches of bone shielding parts of his limbs and underbelly. Even on all fours, he stands taller than any human alive. Sometimes he can be seem with metallic spikes protuding from his back, and metallic blades or spike protruding from his forearms. On all four paws his claws are always metallic as well. His mask is white, and appears with a more solemn or contemplative expression with red patterns lining the cheeks and up to the forehead, wrapping around it except for the chin.

» Personality: While appearing absolutely dangerous and menacing, Forger M is not a being of hatred. He simply wishes to regain what he had lost, even if he can't recall every detail. His strong desire to forge metal once more is what drives him forward. He does not seek out unnecessary trouble, no desire to prove his strength over others. He may even like to befriend more than have as enemies, with a fiercely loyal heart. This is because if he is to forge metal, he would need allies to forge for thus this loyal trait became an intrinsic part of his identity.

He either does not fear, or hides it extremely well as while he does not seek trouble, he will throw his weight around as needed. In this world, its dog eat dog, and if he's bitten he will bite back twice as hard. He's a rather simple creature when it comes down to it, he seeks out his goals and aids his allies as needed. There is little room in him for fancy tricks, sly schemes, betrayals, or complex strategies. With him and his power, what you see is what you get.


» History: Forger M remembers only a little bit of his life before he became a hollow, and the feelings of regret he felt at this fact is immeasurable. The facts he knows for certain, is he was once a big, burly blacksmith. He could easily recall some of the weapons he's crafted, and knows some of the blacksmithing techniques he used to employ. In his head he could even imagine the sparks that would fly as hammer met heated steel. He was a well off man, making an honest living.

But he died, suddenly, whether it was an accident or intentional sabotage he couldn't really tell. The metal he had been working with had a deformity, and caused an explosion in the forge. Which isn't typically an issue, but a red hot piece had launched and stabbed into his head at a bad angle. He'd fall over, knocking into a few of his blades cutting himself up a little bit as he fell to the ground. He bled out rather quickly, or mercifully. Yet he was dying with too many projects left unfinished. And more importantly, his family was left to fend for themselves in his absence.

That regret and sorrow turned him into a Hollow rather quickly, but as he was turning he realized something was wrong. He could feel it in him that if he stayed he could end up hurting the people most precious to him. His... wife...? His.... Children? Did He have those? His memory was failing him, so he instinctively fled to Hueco Mundo and finished his transformation in Forger M.

He became a great big bear, with metallic protrusions coming from his back and fore-arms along with metallic claws. With instincts taking over, he wandered the blinding desert, consuming whatever hollows he could find along the way. Eventually, with an unknown amount of souls consumed, he regained a sense of self. While he did not wish to seek out trouble, he had a strong desire left in him. Those memories of his past life, blacksmithing, he wished to do that once again. Forger M wished to forge once more, and now he would go forth, gather strength, and one day reclaim what he had seemingly lost.

» Blacksmithing: While its physically impossible due to his shape as a hollow, Forger M is a highly skilled blacksmith. His knowledge and remembered skill from his previous life could one day serve him well if he regains a humanoid form.

» Hollow Power:
Forja de Aleación: Forger M's hollow ability allows him to create metal from his body and shape it roughly into what he wants such as blades and spikes. Whether its to protect his body by physically deterring predators with spikes on his back, or launching them at his prey and enemies as an attack.

» Character Intent: As a first character, I want to go the long haul with him and develop his strengths and story. I intend for this hollow to eventually become an arrancar. From there, he would focus on once again becoming something of a blacksmith even though arrancar use zanpakuto. He’d at least try to employ the skills he had in life somehow.
