» History:As a child, Suiji was a lover of knowledge, she would read whatever books that her father picked up whenever he ventured to the world of the living. He wasn't always a model Shinigami, as he tends to slack off and avoid doing strenuous work in favor of doing things like going out for drinks with his fellow lieutenant and checking out places. One way or another his behavior as a Shinigami was punishable, but he wouldn't allow his comrade in arms to take the fall for him so he took full responsibility and accepted his punishments. Which made Suiji respect her father even more. She'd always read whatever books that he brought back, even though he encouraged her to be more interactive with kids her age, however, she quickly declined as she had no interest in others. Aside from having her nose in a book, she would generally scour parts of Rukongai as well as sneak in the seireitei in order to get a piece of information regarding the thirteen court guard companies.

She was primarily interested in them because of their connection to her father. She wanted to know what they did and what made her father's job extremely important. Though her snooping around the barracks had caused her to be kicked out by patrolling officers, she was persistent. This time she made sure not to get caught as she remained undetected to the point where she was able to master the layout of the seireitei until a member of the stealth force, who made it easy to detect her spiritual energy despite having lowered it. They were willing to ignore her trespassing so long as she accepted the offer in becoming a member of the stealth force once she gotten older.

They were impressed by Suijins ability to nearly dissolve her spiritual energy, yet even a captain class Shinigami could easily detect such scant energy. It was evident that Suijin would accept the offer, if it meant she would fight alongside her father and learn more about the people he served. To her knowledge was power and if she had enough knowledge then doing things would be a breeze. It had helped her avoid altercations with others which she'd easily lose in due to possessing zero fighting capability, so her mind was her greatest strength but would also be considered her greatest weakness.
