Re: Beneath the Waterfall [Gaoh/Lilith]

CLOSED FIST, OPEN MIND
Truthful or not, she let her balls swing in the breeze - the kind of attitude Gaoh liked to see. What else was she? Didn't need the eyepatch, still wore it, could take a trip down the business end of a waterfall and act like nothing happened. Not an arrancar - that he could tell - Shinigami? Might've been running into tougher humans lately, but none like this.
"I'm a karateka. Experiencing the world helps me be a better karateka, plus, the views." Gaoh's eyes never left the woman as he spoke, a faint grin having set across his face. "Fight. Eat. Step through the garganta and do it somewhere else. Train, sleep, repeat. Keeps me busy." A light chuckle at the end of the sentence, the arrancar moving to stand.
"What about you, Lilith?" Gaoh's tone taking its own flavor of prodding. "What's led you here, soaked to the bone?"

Lilith Blake
‘A karateka, huh?’ Lilith thought. She was sure she heard the word before, but she had enough in her head that she didn’t care to remember what it meant. She also kind of got the gist with all of his fight, eat, sleep explanation anyways.
“Nothing more than the river…” Lilith said, her lighter expression hardened as she observed Gaoh for a few seconds. Crossing her arms, Lilith gave a wide and wicked smile, leaning in toward the guy. “Wanna go at it?” she asked, intentionally wording her question with an extra meaning, though she was talking about fighting.

CLOSED FIST, OPEN MIND
Gaoh laughed, the light in his eyes glimmering. "Hell of a river, then." There was no lack of decision on the man's part as he got to his feet - innuendo, misunderstanding, or even lack thereof - being able to feel this woman like he did, Gaoh welcomed the challenge. Odd to find something to climb this far up, and the arrancar wasn't one to pass at the opportunity.
His weight and stance shifted immediately, squaring his legs as an arm drew back, held tightly underneath his bicep. The opposite hand guiding him forward, an open palm. Normally, Gaoh would let her act first; but that was getting old.
A footstep with the motion of a swing, the palm stuttered forward in an arc. Maybe enough to knock the woman off balance, it was hard to gauge. Still, low commitment, dozens of ways to follow through. However she'd retaliate, if he could see it, there was a way around, or through.

Challenge accepted!
Lilith followed and took up her own stance, a wide green spreading across her features as his palm came in for its first strike. A simple glide to the side and she was out of the way, an example of high level footwork. Still, Lilith followed up with two quick jabs toward the man’s chest. Each well aimed and a speed he could handle. Her skill lied in her strength, but mainly in her durability. Striking her was like hitting a brick wall, more likely to damage you, at least at first.
"You enjoy the fight?" she asked, making conversation as they sparred, though there was something more focused in her visible eye. She may have been easy-going, but there was a fire in her that hinted at a warrior.
