The boring day.

Rena jumped down with Miyuki and drooled alongside her as she too thought of how good Ramen and Ice-cream would be. She suddenly realized just how hungry she was and couldn't help daydream about food as well.

"Yum.. that sounds delicious.. Do you kn--." She was interrupted by a hollow roar and a now terrified Miyuki she frowned and moved to slightly hug Miyuki. Trying to calm the terrified girl down the best she could.

"Hey don't let it get to you. It's really far away..besides..even if it show'd up I could take care of it for you. Alright?" Rena said as she tried to reassure Miyuki that nothing bad would happen. She looked in the direction that the roar's sound came from and shook her head. Hollows in Karakura? how? No matter.. the shinigami who were ment to protect Karakura would handle it.. Rena was no longer of them and didn't need to waste her time doing their job.

The girl had no idea what had come over her. She didn't act the same until she could feel it's presence had gone. And only then her crying stpped as she looked over at Rena before pulling away lightly from the hug. Walking towards her house silently, hoping Rena would follow.

"..."

She didn't say anything while she walked. Mainly because she was scared in ways even she didn't know she could be scared in.
But then, she wondered how Rena could possibly know about the monsters.
Or how she thought she could deal with one, they were massive! Vicious!
But Miyuki, didn't know a thing about Hollows at all of course.

Rena silently followed Miyuki just to make sure the girl at least made it home safely..With all the mood swings the girl was taking Rena was afraid something bad might happen to her before she even got home.

"We going to your house Miyuki? Are you sure its alright for me to come with you? I don't want to intrude after all..I mean we just met but I wouldn't mind being your friend." Rena said..still trying to repress her hollow energy as well as her normal spiritual energy..it was becoming a little harder but because of the ribbon..she was able to do it without making it noticable.

Rena was still worried that the girl wasn't all mentally there in the head. She wanted to ask the girl if she would go to the hospital and get checked out..btu seeing how they just met she figured the girl would take that as an offensive remark and just tell Rena to go away.

"Alright..if you say so." Rena said with a smile as she thought about the many sudden changes she kept seeing in Miyuki. She figured she would learn the reasons behind them soon enough though and kept her thoughts to herself.

Rena tried to warn Miyuki about the lightpost she was about to hit but before she got the chance Miyuki had already hit it and freaked out. Moving into the street where a car was about to hit the fallen miyuki.

Rena was already by Miyuki's side but had been pushed out of the way by the barrier that Miyuki suddenly created. She was about to stop the car herself..yet couldn't help but be surprised by the fact Miyuki had done it herself.

"Miyuki are you ok? That car almost hit you!" Rena said with a very worried tone to her voice.

Rena inwardly continued to wonder about miyuki's lack of reality..but again kept it to herself. She merely smiled and nodded at Miyuki before entering the house and looking around. She hadn't been in many human homes before now that she thought of it.. mostly hotels. A house was much different compared to a hotel.

"So Miyuki..." Rena started to say slowly while thinking of her next words. She didn't know if she should bring it up or not..but decided to, "It's a good thing you brought up that shield thing out of fear hai? It kept that car from hitting you even before I managed to get there and try to help."

Rena had come to the conclusion that one of two things would happen now. Miyuki would have no idea what Rena was talking about..or..She'd go nuts. She didn't think Miyuki honestly had any idea of what was going on with herself or the world around Karakura.

"This is a really nice house." Rena said complimentarily to give Miyuki a subject change in case the latter of Rena's conclusions came to pass, "I haven't really been in many homes I usually just wander around. So this is kind of nice, you know?"

Rena nodded as Miyuki invited her to stay for dinner. The very thought of food actually made Rena's stomach growl loudly..causing her to have an embarrassed look on her face.

"That'd be lovely thankies Miyuki." She said happily at the thought of real food. She hadn't really eaten lately as her stomach protested that fact by grumbling yet again.

"I bet it is hard to live on your own.. But.. all the freedom is worth it like you said hai?" She continued to speak happily and politely, "Oh.. aum..what IS for dinner anyways? I'll eat anything you make and I bet it'll be delicious!"

Rena couldn't help but think about the reaction she got from Miyuki when she mentioned the shield..nor could she forget how Miyuki freaked when the hollow roared. Was this girl just simply oblivious? Or was she purposely ignoring the fact that she had power and was spiritually aware?

The girl smiled as the food began cooking, letting out a delicious smell from the pots and pans.

"It's hard at times and it does get quite lonely but it's also really fun! Because you get to see what being grown up means. So I won't have any trouble living by myself when I'm a adult! My dream for the future is to work at a bakery store! Because you get to try so many different cakes! Yum!"

She said, almost drooling at the image she had in mind. Sadly all the good bakery stores weren't currently hiring any staff.
"I'm making ramen with chips, gravy and curry!"

She said happily, yuck. But to her this was delicious, the weird combinations she liked had gotten to her head. But the smell alone seemed to delicious!

"So why are you dressed like that Rena-Chan? Were you going to a dress-up show or something? >.< It's not everyday you see people dressed in black robes unless it's halloween..."
