Does God exist?

This is always a good thing to debate about, if you don't flame like immature four year olds.

The topic says it all.

Does God exist?

I'll give my view point on the situation, when everyone else gives their view point.

Well...Hmmm it's hard, to say. I don't believe there's not some sort of deity or higher figure, since i believe in all that is spiritual, i believe there could possibly be a god, but it's really up to what you find out, when you die. That's how i see it.

Well, I believe this thread could get way out of hand but anyway... here we go.

In my own opinion, I do not believe there is some kind of 'god' my school pushes and thrashes into me Christianity it has almost disproved their own religion. I find it impossible to follow a religion when there are so many loose ends, no I am not atheist I don't have a religion, it is my own beliefs. I do believe in the after life, however I don't believe it is a place like 'heaven' or 'hell' I believe out punishment/reward what ever you want, is to be doomed to walk the earth as a ghost or just rot in the ground.

To me, I see things in the world through many eyes. Spiritual, Logical, Scientifical, and then, I see things in a simplistic view of faith. While Scientifically and Logically there is no real proof of a god or diety figure, people believe in the soul through evidence that when close to death, there is a life. Also, in history it is stated that Jesus and his deciples lived and whatnot. Their lives and trials are recorded in factual history as well as the basis for our years between the BC and AD system. I also take into facts that the Bible and all Biblical manuscript were written by men, but back in those years, men were considered a male able to grow a beard. To successfully grow a beard, all you need to be is about 14 years of age, or at least beyond puberty. Then comes the sects of religion. There are so many varriations of what is depicted from signs of history that people believe one is "More Rational" than the other.

Personally, I'm a man with an open mind. I love to experience many cultures and see through their eyes. Judiasm, Buddhism, Islamic, Christianity, ect, it's all something we have in our lives that show a path of faith. Believing beyond logical outputs and possible fates to something beyond anything else. While medical science has developed and diagnostics have been able to identify millions of diseases, infections, and whatnot, our developed science can only heal/treat so much. While there have been cases of science failing to cure those ill, miracles have been displayed in the healing of such an individual. Such trials are unexplained and believed to come from an unknown source.

So while science and whatnot cannot explain the anomily that is beyond us, we are also to come to realize that in this vast universe, it is ever expanding and that there are billions and billions of stars and planets yet unexplored. For us to be alone on this rock would be very unlikely as there is most likely a being out there beyond us in either intellegence or physical prowess.

Either way, if you look past the logical outputs and the scientific explinations, it just comes down to, do you have faith?
