Tag Team Turmoil! (Akira vs Meninas/Stella)

It didn’t seem that he had any other tricks at that point and Meninas came up against a surprising lack of obstacles as she headed for the automaton’s shielded spot. The creature was rather slow and while the pink haired woman had yet to completely master her Steigen, it appeared that she was more than competent enough to evade this abomination. She was certainly thankful that her training had paid off and as the Sternritter closed in further towards her target, there wasn’t an ounce of doubt in her mind as to what she was going to do now.

Meninas would activate her Blut again, the red veins covering her body as she prepared to deal with the lunatic for good. There wasn’t any need to hold back and after what he’d done to Stella, she didn’t hold the slightest inkling of mercy in her body. He was undeserving of such and as she’d been taught from a young age, there couldn’t be any quarter given against the enemy. She had to put him down for good, here and now.

As she came up against his shielded area, Meninas would smash her dumbbell against it hard, attempting to break through it with pure force alone, summoning all of her great strength in order to do so. One blow would be followed by another and with any luck, her masked foe would now find his automaton facing the greatest amount of pressure from her. The look in her eyes was one of unbridled fury although not a single sound came from her. If the shield failed then he would find himself with the six footer bearing down on him.

So he was still able to summon shields? Meninas supposed that she shouldn’t have been surprised by that but it wasn’t going to change her style much. She’d try to stay in close, using her martial prowess to keep him within arms reach. Her strikes would have her full released power behind them and the pink haired woman had no intention of letting him create another one of those monsters. This needed to come to an end soon, before he did even more damage.

Her stance was that of a boxer, firing blows from both dumbbells as though they were her fists with the well honed technique of a professional, battering against his shields, wanting nothing more than to catch him on the jaw again. Meninas was more than aware that she could easily end a life with her strikes and right now, she had no issue with doing just that. This male had shown no remorse for what he’d done and even if he had, the Sternritter would’ve been reluctant to let him go anyway.

Meninas followed him down towards the ground, unwilling to allow him any chance to recover from her savage blows. Her mind was clouded by the red mist and all of her years of training were pushing her on. This was what she’d been brought up to do, to defeat her enemies without pity or remorse. It was like a switch had gone off in her mind, with the shy and awkward woman replaced with a creature created for a single purpose. She would not forgive the masked figure for what he’d done to Stella and as she dropped down and mounted his fallen form, her gauntlets channelled with energy again, her Blut becoming its horrific red at the same time.

What happened next could only be described as brutal efficiency, with Meninas relentlessly unloading on whatever guard he had left. She didn’t hold anything back and truly wished for him to feel every moment of agony that Stella had been forced to suffer and then some. There was a line that should never be crossed and today, he’d not only crossed it but had urinated on it as well. No excuse would be accepted, no cry for mercy would be heeded and no stopping of movement would prevent her from continuing.

When it finally came to an end, the Quincy would stand up and walk away, heading directly for her partner’s position, her anger slowly dissipating to reveal a far more concerned expression. All that mattered now was getting her friend to safety. As for the scum who’d caused all this mess? She couldn’t have cared less whether he still lived or not.

Her message had been sent to him. Loud and clear.
