AKIRA TAIRITSU
The emerald flickers which shifted into a wreath for Giselle’s form was interesting, an odd sight for sure but one which also warranted concern. It might have some unknown property beyond your idle flickers, best to be cautious. Wait- Fuck. Giselle’s form brought off the ground in an explosive demonstration of speed, a mere imagery of green being left within the wake of her assault as the ground beneath bent under her will to forge a ledge. Clever. This momentum burst through any residual crimson and came to bring forth a ruthless strike for the cranium.
."You’re fas-Bakudo 8: Seki!”
He tried to utter as the instinctual response to this strike was to forge a small blue orb about the impact zone to redirec the momentum and send her into the concealed sticky net! Yet the strike would manage to shatter through regardless, sending him flying across the floor in a ragdoll aesthetic that’d make cartoons weep with envy. It for a brief moment though before fingers dug into the floor, overcoat fluttering though disorientated by headstrike that’d have to give him the briefest moment of retort! Akira’s gleeful smile forged, noticing his opponents' experience with combat and thus felt more comfortable in striking back with a level of adrenaline induced danger.
It was then did he notice the peppered overcoat, a mistake on his part to presume his ability or her strike was merely aimed for the cranium. The small trickles of blood soaking into clothing, only reinforcing this interest. Her ability was some form of Earth manipulation? Contact based.
."Hadō 31: Shakkako! Hadō: 11 Tsuzuri Raiden!
The left hand forged an orb of raw orange energy that fluttered as it was modified, instead of a ball though it would unleash a small wave across the ground as if a liquidy water, the right crackling with electricity as the man aimed to swiftly place it atop the spell. The combination of two separate spells creating this small pond, igniting the net to hopefully create natural smoke and cause further issues, uncertain if her ability to track him was that good. She might note though gritted teeth saw each hand being constantly licked at by both spells for this rapid union, unable to focus on it for too long whilst beads of sweat dripped down his features.

CRACK!
The snap of spiritual energy as her momentum suddenly shifted caused her to smirk. Heh. Kido eh? That was unlucky for him. Against a martial artist like her? Having to recite an incantation meant all the time in the world for her to adjust her technique. Before the technique even finished leaving his mouth.
"Seki~" She parroted, speaking the name of the Bakudo in unison with him. And so when that repulsive force launched her, she flipped with the momentum, vaulting as the air crackled green around her, adjusting her path to flip up, a straight arc right toward the net! Only to stop just a few feet above the actual net itself.
A smile flashed across her lips as she smirked toward the man as she made note of the speckles of blood. "Huh, guess I shoulda gave ya a heads up to prep yours-" Oh! Another double! She launched herself ba- OH! The net was a lot higher than she expected! Attempting to launch herself free, she was snared by that net of Kido and tensed up as she watched that flood of watery spirit energy rushing towards her! Green crackled along the rolled up poster in her hand.
Pond Cutter.
A perfect slash, a mesh of technique, and the reduction of friction on the poster itself to execute a vicious downward cleave, dropping the improvised weapon like a guillotine to rip a clean line infront of her, aiming to part that wave of energy before it could reach her, but of course, there was ... a surprising ammount of energy. Flecks of thatspell would still splatter onto her outfit as it splashed, no doubt burning and crackling as it ate holes through her shir and hissed against her skin. Little burns and shocks nipping at her flesh. That was a bit close.
"A fire Kido and one designed to electrocute. A little MUCH for a train with some random citizen don't you think?" She taunted with a smirk, flourishing that poster. The air gleamed in a zigzag as tie thing flashed through the air, The thing having squished itself into a seemingly perfect fold, providing a dangerous edge.
One that had sliced her workout shirt from her body, leaving it stuck to the net as she stepped forward. Tatters of sliced shirt peeling from her upper body to show off her sports bra and the slight tone to her body she'd built up over the last few months. "Cmon now, a few stinging pebbles already has you pulling out the dirty tricks? Your mom should have taught ya to be more honorable around a lady you know." She pointed out, smoothing her hand along the length of the sharpened poster, the blade extending out, stretching to a longer sweeping blade, one now pointed at him.
"You've got some interesting spells there kiddo. But I've already noticed your fatal flaw." She chimed, sloooowly pulling that weapon back, before setting it at her hip. As if sheathing it in some invisible scabbard. An Iaido stance.
"Cmon. You're a big strong shinigami right? Lets see what kinda swordplay you got?"

She dodged?
Not entirely, though a cackle of laughter erupted from the throat of the man as he’d be entirely focused in the moment. It had been far too long since letting go against an opponent of experience, Solomon was effective but that was a situation in which he didn’t aim to intentionally harm an at the time elusive figure. She had experience, a lot of it. The way the energy shifted like a flowing river only to be parted by the strike, causing it to crash into the priorly formed walls of Bakudo seals, crackles and singes flowing forth.
The ground below them now clearly singed, smoked by the energy with a smaller crater from the devastating strike she managed to pull off.
."Mother wasn’t exactly chatty, explains why I’m a bit of a clutz when it comes to women. Forgive my rudeness. How can a man hold back when faced with someone of such interest?”
Akira jested in return, boot moving to rise as the soul of it brought the midnight blue sheathe upward and into his palm, strapping it to the side of his body as Rivu remained within hand distance. Flaw? Reliance on Kido maybe? Hrm.
."I’ve got quite a few flaws I’m afraid, you’ll have to specify.”
The heart pumped like a cherokee drum against the ribcage, thrumming for combat as Akira felt she might not expect a spellcaster to be so adept with a blade. He took a neutral stance of course, a step forward suddenly saw his body shift into a blitz of speed, Hoho. Giselle found hm using the residual smog of webbing that had burnt up, a stance not used by any other Shinigami for it was his own.
Smog dispersed rapidly, Akira’s right hand holding firm upon the zanpakuto hilt as the blade remained a healthy distance from the chest, moving the moist steel that flickered droplet naturally in a strike aimed for the upper thigh. She may note after facing other Kido users though, a hand was free, left in a two fingered salute near the hilt. This custom style for a trained eye was dedicated to combine swordplay with the art of spellcasting!

She snorted. "HAH! Clutzes are the primary target of plenty of girls. I bet you got yourself a few fans. Maybe feom the quincy. Hell I think a fair number of hollow women like that kinda guy they can bully." She stated, ignoring the compliment thrown her way. She took up her stance and smiled just a bit wider. Her eyes shifting to the man's zanpaku'to as she flashed a lopsided smile. Oho? Was he going to try and outmaneuver her?
She focused as the man charged towards her and executed that strike.
Tch.
If she had been her old self, she could have simply taken the strike to her leg and flexe,d trapping his blade in her thigh and lobbing his head off. Well, if this HADN'T been a spar. But not only that, she had to FIGHT that instinct. She couldn't be like that anymore. She had to protect herself. A blistering slash of her own executed in a sudden explosive rush of motion. Pure skill as she flicked her weapon and that folded poster connected with that incoming sword strike from Akira as she advanced. Stepping between the shinigami's feet as green energy flowed into the air around her.
Lady of the Lake
As that folded poster struck Akira's Zanpaku'to, her free hand reached along the ground. As if holding her hand out for something. The air twisted into her palm and condensation collected. A slim band of moisture from the air collecting into a sleek blade of water. And as that poster kept that Zanpaku'to pushed to the side, she aimed to slash up the length of Akira's shoulder. Sure, she expected a counter, but she intended on scoring this hit regardless.

AKIRA TAIRITSU
Her experience in swordplay was far from showing, watching Rivu impact with this poster and begin to be parried away at a rapid rate as a tsk hissed from closed lips. Through this opening she had created that impressed Akira, noticing the rapid movement of energy through his gold iris and conjuring a second weapon of water. Shit. The Shinigami’s step moving back as a concentration of energy surged into the index finger of his right palm, though feeling the blade cleave through flesh elicited a gritted growl of pain.
She took out his primary Kido follow up, atleast debilitated it.
The few seconds of energy needed to confine and modify a Sho was created though such a simple Hadō, Akira saw potential in that kinetic energy and had modified the ability to a degree that instead of a shove, was akin to a blade, thin and capable of slashing. It had of course increased in potency comparative if one were to scale it across other Hadō, it was this ease of usage and potential unforeseen response that he valued most.
As his foot steps came back, during this parry the finger flicked upward! The malicious blade of telekentic energy darting ahead for Giselles sword shoulder, wishing to inflict a similar injury upon her!
."Tsh! Hadō 1: Sho!”
He managed though finally saw himself buckling under that wound a little, a knee almost caving downward as the blood soaked into otherwise white clothing, now sullied entirely. This wasn’t an ending for him but that strike definitely cost him an effective way of casting, even more so the pain flung throughout his body like racetrack. He was neither fast nor strong but durability was beyond Human. That was the only reason he stood, closing the zanpakuto rapidly to a diagonal across his chest.

The execution of her strikes was fluid and effortless. It wasn't a relentless assault that was meant to obliterate or silence the Shinigami all in one go. She'd hardly go THAT hard in a sparring session. But the motions themselves were light and graceful, practiced in the hands of someone who had been fighting for a very very long time. And so when she saw that Finger point at her, she raised her brows.
The recitation of the Kido itself. Hadō 1? She braced herself, a green crackle as her feet adhered to the ground. Clamping herself in place as she prepared herself. But to her surprise, she felt not a shove, but a stab. A sharp rupture through her shoulder that bit through flesh and bone and blood.
But that did nothing to forestall her next action. As the water of that auxillary weapon suddenly snapped! A pop as it burst into many little droplets in the air around them. Green reiryoku licking along the edge of the poster as she brought it up. A big, open motion, one that Akira would easily see happening, even if he might have to struggle to keep up with it as Giselle powered through. And her blood, spurting from her shoulder, Mixed with the droplets of water in the air.
Her grip tightened on her weapon, and a smile flashed across her lips. The water mixed with her blood lengthened into a dozen slim knives that followed the motion of the poster in her hand. At least until her spiritual pressure rose, flexing as those blades ignited, the blood bursting into pale white flames as she slashed down.
Blades which followed suit as she chopped toward Akira's other shoulder. An attack she fully anticipated would be met with his own weapon given her telegraphing, but the hail of slim blades would slash down the length of Akira's body, intent on riddling him with slashes, and perhaps bury a few of the slim weapons into him. The lengths themselves were narrow and the wounds themselves shallow, slim blades of water followed by the trail of pale flames as the residual blood ignited. Scorching the flesh in the wake of any injuries she managed to secure.
A strike she promptly followed up with a forward charge, aiming to thrust her shoulder into the center of Kira's chest to knock him to the ground and disengage. Hoping to return them to a more neutral position as a hiss escaped her as she breathed back in. She still had been stabbed in the shoulder, not that she didn't have a tremendous amount of experience bulling her way through injuries, but well. She didn't want to push herself. And so she tempered the sudden rush of adrenaline that came with the flurry of motion. Sliding back and flashing a lopsided smile.
"Your weakness? Inexperience~ I've met plenty of shinigami casters who came up with all sorts of strategies to handle the inherent weaknesses to Kido. But you don't have any of that~ You strike me as the kinda guy whose spent so much time woking on his fancy spells that he's never considered how he'd have to adjust the rest of hihs skills to compensate." She stated calmly, raising that folded up poster and wiping it across her bloody shoulder, smearing the stain of red along the edge before turning it towards him. That small flex resulting in a sudden flush of pale fire racing along it's edge. What had already been a pretty menacing weapon now was wreathed in that pale flame.
"Yer good kid. But you're textbook good~"

AKIRA TAIRITSU
There was a look of raw curiosity as the droplets fired into the air, showering the area though they began to be infused by the vermillion of his opponent. Blood user. That was a shocking and dangerous revelation for the young man, eyes glancing at each of his sides and realising any attack that was to follow suit was to be of several points. She used this method akin to his own zanpakuto’s abilities; versatility of water was often underestimated and undervalued incredibly.
It was then she burst forward, Akira returning this to a skill of the blade as his moist steel met her own with a swift parry, a blue light covering across his body as she’d noticed a thin Bakudo membrane that surrounded his form, akin to a body sight. As the assault persisted though, areas of it buckled and slithers of slashes slit flesh intwine. The real reason for this? He was using it to tighten the shoulder wound, protecting it primarily and using a crude method of pressure. Akira was going to need it.
Cheek and forehead alike were littered with cuts, only to find his chest barged into to create a neutral distance between them and caused his boots to skid across the floor, rapid exhales coming through his mouth. She began to inform him, inexperience, lack of creativity? The man witnessing the blade ignited with an emerald fury.
."You’re correct, my experience is lacking, though my focus on Kido has been restricted this engagement…..”
He did now possess the information he thought necessary to put her on the backfoot.
."Hadō 51: Daichi Ten’yo!”
The Vizards energy flooded into the ground around them, the tip of he zanpakuto slashing to the left hand side where the damaged shoulder was as unseen telekinetic forces began upturning earth, also targeting those sharpened areas of debri she had created earlier as they sought to close in on Giselle! That wasn’t the primary issue though, as the tip of Rivu moved to the other palm as the watery energy enhanced his desired assault, moving to the left hand side and letting off a crackle of emerald energy.
."Hadō 4: Byakurai!”
It had been modified though, crackling through the air and detonating before reaching Giselle with arcs running off in tangents of electricity, because Akira was aiming for the bleeding shoulder. The man knew striking a wetted areas was more effective, so much of it now on her person, a desired intent to stun her and cause excruciating pain to the body! Though he knew her speed could also come into play, of which case, further tricks might be needed.

Tch.
Alas, she also was aware of her own limitations.
Even as she managed to execute the elaborate strike, she perked up when she heard him murmuring that other spell. And watched that veil shift along his body. Interesting. She hadn't heard that one very often. Her brows knit together and she shifted her blade as she shoved her palm into her shoulder, applying blood to the surface before that pale white flame along the blade intensified, and she watched as he promptly executed a stronger spell. Tch! She crouched down, bracing herself as green flames crackled along her feet, and she suddenly burst into the air, shooting up into the barrier above them as the earth and manipulated debris slammed into the spot she'd been in just a moment before, but of course, even hearing the recitation of that spell, she wasn't THAT much faster than him.
And so when she landed on the ceiling, she had an instant where she had to absorb the impact of her motion, only to tense as he fired the Byakurai. The shock slamming into her shoulder as a sharp HISS escaped from her. Pain wracking across her body as she almost buckled from her spot stuck to the "ceiling' of the barrier around the training area.
"God's light cast through the fangs of blood."
She began to chant, smearing her blood across the air. In much the same way that just about any spiritual entity could condense reiryoku in the air to create a surface to step and stand on, so too could it be used as a canvas, drawing a large symbol in the air. An inward spiral coiling into three circles. Like a reticle pointed at Akira.
"Cradle this sinner amidst the wings of seraphs."
Blood red energy glowed along the inscription as the smeared blood ignited into white flames, and those flames bled out into the open air as the air grew hot.
Gestört Altar (Disturbed Altar)
And the symbol burned away, fading to nothing as Giselle simply stood there with her palm outstretched, and a sheepish smile spread across her face.
"Whew...is what I WOULd say if I had the energy for that these days...AHAH!" She giggled a bit to herself, her arms slumping to her side as she promptly dropped from the ceiling, spinning in the very last moment to land in a crouch, her palm planting into the ground to absorb some of the impact before she sighed, staying in a squatting position on the floor as she rolled her shoulders. "Buhhhh, and there;s MY weakness. I'm fuckin gassed. Sure I got plenty of skill. But I aint got shit like the energy I used to have,." She breathed out, a slight pant to her breaths as she slowly stood up and swung that folded up newspaper, the flames vanishing as the blood on her hand burned away as well.
"Still! Good hustle there, shakey. Sorry to end this so abruptly, but if I actually tried to do that spell I woulda passed the fuck out. Heheh. You were certainly fun to tussle with though."
