Psychological Analysis
Wolfina appears to be a composed and collected individual. She is driven by principles and prefers to do matters by the book rather than deviate into unknown territory. This approach to our testing environments has consistently proven to be effective and Wolfina maintains the highest performance averages across all four of the Ovide projects in any simulation related to combat.
The Wolfina has displayed ruthless pragmatism but also appears to understand when such an approach may actually be a hindrance to an operation, able to comprehend the value in others when assessing the wider situation. She is far from compassionate, though, and remains utterly devoid of genuine attachment to anything. Even if something is determined to be useful, its loss or destruction is met with a simple reassessment of priorities to best ensure mission success.
She was socially reserved, initially assumed to be in a manner similar to the Arlette, but exposure to her other sisters has demonstrated that she is capable of feigning emotion and engagement to a level more befitting that of the Eliane. Whilst not above manipulation, and certainly capable of such, she focuses more on what she can learn about those she engages with. Seeking to understand those around her first and foremost, so that they can be most accurately be accounted for in her assessment of a situation.
As an addendum, the Wolfina has also demonstrated notable psychotic tendencies during moments of intense physical trauma. She has flown into prolonged bouts of bloodthirsty rage in response to extreme stimulation, attacking anything and everything around her with reckless abandon. The only proven way to subside these destructive outbursts has been at the instruction of Claudia Duvalier herself. Only her words can reliably calm the beast within Wolfina, and several of my fellow scientists have lost their lives trying to make sense of such a peculiar phenomenon.
I will confront Lady Duvalier about this potential defect tomorrow, perhaps a reboot is in order.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The result of the second generation of clones created from the uniquely rare genetic makeup of Claudia Duvalier, Wolfina and her sister Antonetta were the latest bodyguards to serve the head of the Duvalier Group. Unlike their older sisters, who were themselves hybrids, Wolfina and Antonetta were each made up entirely of one of the different species that Claudia is a hybrid of. In Wolfina’s case, she is biologically a Shinigami.
There is no history of her before she began accompanying Claudia on her endeavours, her record before that point is buried far from the prying eyes of the general public. Every moment of her day was spent in training and conditioning, to make her the perfect soldier and protector for her employer and effective mother. There was hardly a moment she could remember where there was ever an occasion where this was not the case. She was a tool first and foremost, it is just a coincidence that she takes the form of a human.
The first moment of genuine impact or emotion in her life was when Wolfina was provided with an Asauchi blade. How exactly this came into possession of the Duvalier group is not something that one could openly question and expect to survive, but she did not ask. Instead, she bonded with the creature that inhabited the blade just as she had been instructed to do. A symbiotic relationship was formed, and for a single instant, she felt something. Rage.
It lasted mere seconds, during which time several unfortunate lab technicians were brutally savaged and tenderised, but the incident has been scrubbed from almost all records and buried deep in Claudia's archives. But the bond stayed even after the connection was broken, she was a Shinigami now but one that served her mother rather than some noble goal. This achievement heralded Wolfina's 'graduation' from her former duties. She was still a bodyguard and expected to perform and act like one, but also a living, breathing testament to Claudia's conquest over the natural order. Her creator did not show her praise by showering her with affection, rather she took further measures to exploit that newfound value. Her services were sold to the highest bidder; she was a mercenary, a corporate assassin, a warlord, and a monster hunter all in one package.
Her graduation also brought her more directly into the lives of her sisters. Arlette and Eliane were her elders, and they viewed her with suspicion on the assumption that she was intended to one day replace them. It was likely true, of course, but Wolfina did not concern herself with such trivial things. She would follow her orders as she always did and that would be the end of it. What she, and perhaps Claudia, had not counted upon was the depths of the bond that she would build with Antonetta. They were twins, and just as dissimilar as the older pair, yet that built affection rather than friction between them.
This period of relative peace within the Duvalier household would not last though, as finally tensions reached boiling point and Arlette chose to abandon them for a cushy life with her friends in the Vandenreich. With that betrayal, Claudia's true colours were revealed, any notion of benevolence fading away as the three remaining sisters were fitted with collars rigged with explosives and kept under lock and key. After that Eliane was different too, she still teased her younger sisters mercilessly but it was clear that something had changed beneath the surface.
The trio were eventually sent to the City of Lights to extract or assassinate Arlette, the order was never quite clear and neither was their intentions. Antonetta went first, she wanted to, but Wolfina was never too far behind. She had never wanted to let her twin out of her sight in truth. The infiltration process split them up, divided and delayed them, and by the time Wolfina had arrived in the city both of her remaining siblings had been captured. Unwilling to turn her back on them as Arlette had done, Wolfina went against her base programming to orchestrate a prison break whilst convincing herself that it would prove to be more effective for the overall mission. It might well have been, but what she had not counted on was Eliane's betrayal. Though it seemed unlike Arlette that this deception was based on good intentions, a turn of phrase that she found hard to attribute to Eliane even when presented with the facts.
Taken into custody,
It was days after the incident at the Duvalier Gala that Wolfina was informed of Claudia's demise, a passing comment made by one of her guards but one that momentarily drew the despondent captive from her stupor. Since that day she began eating again, resting properly, and waiting for judgment to be rendered upon her with a positive vigour. She had a purpose again, and she would do everything in her power to grasp it firmly with both hands. Her mother was on the run, she could feel it so deep within her core that no amount of evidence to the contrary would convince her otherwise, and right there in those depths was a craving for vengeance against her creator. Not for her own sake, for her hands were stained with more blood than she could ever truly scrub away, but for those that had wrongly suffered under her thumb. For the family she had chosen, not the one was born into.
EQUIPMENT
○ Section 12 Equipment: As one of Claudia’s former personal guards, as well as the only four women alive for whom Claudia has ever shown the faintest degree of care, Wolfina is outfitted with the absolute pinnacle of Carrington Developments’ arms and defence technology.
Of this equipment, the vast majority of it comes from Carrington’s Section 12, dedicated to the most radical and innovative developments and given the most extensive funding for its research. Much of this equipment is specialized and advanced enough that, even with the extensive resources of the Duvalier Group, and the financial boon of subsidies from the Vastimian government, it simply is not feasible for any large-scale manufacturing. Of these technologies, the most deadly (and also the least visually obvious) are specialized ammunition and body armour designed to interfere with spiritual defences and attacks, by the usage of a proprietary alloy that incorporates sekkiseki without compromising the overall structural integrity of the projectile or the body armour itself.
While spiritual attacks against Wolfina are not totally negated, they are tremendously reduced in efficacy, and even the most powerful of spiritual defences are no different from a mundane blockade when fired on with this specialized ammunition.
Given her current incarceration and the transfer of control of Carrington Developments to Alastair Eisfluch following the apparent death of Claudia Duvalier, it is to be assumed that such equipment is in the possession of the Vandenreich and that Wolfina has no current means to resupply her current equipment if it is lost or damaged.
○ Knave's Muzzle: Originally developed by the team behind the Ovide project, the Knave's Muzzle has been redesigned and replicated by Vandenreich researchers for continued use on Wolfina. The purpose of this device is now twofold, suppressing Wolfina's emotional state to prevent mental decay and throttling her powers to limit their destructive capabilities. By serving as a delivery vessel for powerful stimulants and neuro-suppressors, the muzzle interferes with Wolfina's mental functions to keep her subservient and focused whilst worn. Her speech is also distorted, giving her voice a metallic echo as if she is not speaking but rather being used as a mouthpiece.
Mechanically speaking, her Willpower is capped at Beginner whilst the mask is worn and she is rendered incapable of releasing her Shikai or activating any of the abilities therein. Her actions are also closely monitored and if it is believed that she is acting in an unbefitting manner then the mask will deploy a concentrated dose of tranquiliser gas that will render Wolfina unconscious if the Muzzle is not removed by the start of her next post.
The device is rigid and tough, designed to resist physical damage and attached to Wolfina in a way that improper removal will cause horrific damage to her facial structure, any attempt by Wolfina herself to remove the Muzzle will also result in the immediate deployment of the gas. Vandenreich personnel can remove or refit the Muzzle with approval from an Administrator or higher, else wise those with a Mental Deduction of at least Elite can determine how to remove the device in a manner that does not cause Wolfina excessive physical trauma.
POWERS AND ABILITIES
○ Genetic Augmentation: Created for the sole purpose of protecting Claudia, Wolfina has been given quite exceptional modifications from the original genetics of her “mother.” This is, of course, to make up for her otherwise wholly unremarkable physicality or talent. Unlike Claudia, who is by all accounts a normal woman, Wolfina has more than enough physical prowess to match most threats to Claudia’s life even without their wide array of equipment. These include extreme enhancements to strength, durability, agility, and perception, as well as several systems of secondary organs to function in the event of the primary organ’s failure.
○ Simulated Experience: Despite being clones of Claudia, and having never undergone a genuine upbringing, Wolfina and her sisters have lived through several thousand years of combat simulations before having been introduced to the greater world at large. As such, she carries the hardened knowledge of the battlefield that most only find after years in the killing fields, though it must be noted that many of their simulations are not mere electronic exercises, but rather direct recreations of real battles, and on several occasions, she has been left to simply experience the aftermath of failed exercises so as to impart the importance of success onto them. Any environment, any foe, any circumstance, Wolfina has been drilled in it to a degree that would likely have broken many, and there is little that could ever truly shock her in the theatre of combat. She has endured fates worse than death, only to be dragged back to reality and forced to endure it all again.
Tactical Acumen: More so than her sisters, Wolfina was specifically designated as a combat unit amongst her other duties. Her simulated experiences are the greatest among her peers, and she has been specifically conditioned to be able to conjure these memories at a moment's notice to provide the most effective stratagem for every situation. When under threat of any kind, she can divert her mental functions to focus solely on these memories and process them at a speed more akin to a supercomputer to best devise a strategy that will ensure the achievement of her goals. Her memory has been altered to allow for this specialised routine, and she can have trouble remembering other details because of this. This has led to her developing a habit of writing down important details in notebooks so that she does not need to worry about forgetting something else.
○ Manufactured Shinigami: Created by Duvalier Group scientists who isolated the Shinigami portion of Claudia’s genetic makeup, Wolfina is a full-blooded Shinigami that was born in a laboratory, not in Soul Society. She is a unique, impossibly expensive clone of a species whose purposes are so vastly different to her own. She has no underlying purpose to protect the soul cycle and instead was created only to serve Claudia. Considerable effort has been put into teaching her the ways of a Shinigami, though. She is capable of using almost every technique that a typical Shinigami has access to, and has a Zanpakuto upon which she has imprinted.
Modern Hakuda: Wolfina has studied the Hakuda used by Shinigami for several hundred years through her Simulated Experience, giving her a level of experience comparable to an expert in the craft. In her time training with both her sisters and highly trained Duvalier Group personnel, she has developed a unique fighting style that combines several of the more modern schools of fighting into one overall technique - akin to what Hakuda achieved with older fighting styles. To a traditional Hakuda user, her moves can be incomprehensible and wildly unpredictable. Modern Hakuda is not elegant or flowery, as much as it is brutally efficient. Wolfina can easily bring down most typical threats using only her body, and often makes light work of even her siblings when it comes to a fistfight.
Magical Incompatibility: Though attempts were made to teach Wolfina the Demon Arts known as Kido, from studying texts to even discussions with actual users of the craft, she lacks the ability to use Kido spells in any capacity. She understands them well and has memorised almost every commonly known Kido spell, but there is simply no sign of ignition when she attempts to cast them. Given that she is a quarter of a Shinigami multiplied four times, it is possible that there is simply no way she will ever be compatible without altering her genetic makeup further.
ZANPAKUTO INFORMATION
» Name: Tengerou-hime (天花狼姫, "Heaven Flower Wolf Princess")
» Spirit Summary: Tengerou-hime takes the form of a great winter wolf, with a coat of snow-white fur. It has piercing blue eyes and talks in a domineering and superior manner. It is a fickle creature, utterly apathetic to almost everything in the world and caring only for destruction and ruination on a grand scale, to that end, it is often manipulative of Wolfina and steers her towards destructive tendencies when left to its own devices.
» Inner World: A vast forest of snow-covered pines, so thick and dense that there is but a single path through them that seems to run unendingly. There are noises in the forest, rustling, rumblings, the cracking of sticks and the breaking of stones. Accompanied always by the feeling that you are being watched, two easy eyes peering out from the undergrowth, never in direct sight but always of the periphery of vision.
The Endless Hunt.
» Sealed Appearance: In its sealed state, Tengerou-hime takes on the form of a modernised version of the traditional Tantō blade. Comparable to a KM2000 in size and function.
» Sealed Abilities: None apparent.
SHIKAI INFORMATION
» Release Phrase: The Arrogant Will Be Subjugated, The Jealous Will Be Petrified, Run Amok, Tengerou-hime
» Shikai Appearance: After release, Tengerou-hime takes on the form of vicious claw blades that extend her fingertips into short claws and stemming from those are retractable razorwire blades.
» Shikai Abilities: Tengerou-hime is a melee-type Zanpakuto that specialises in wide-area destruction. The wire blades of Tengerou-hime can extend up to ten metres if required and can cut through all but the most resilient of objects without particular exertion on Wolfina’s behalf. They are butcher's blades, not fit for delicate work but devastating when used without restraint.
Rending Howl: Expanding out from herself in a dome formed of Tengerou-hime's blades rotating around at intense speeds, Wolfina wrecks the nearby area with destructive force. Anything within a radius equal to the length of her weapons is attacked from all sides simultaneously following a one post charge time after which she emits a bestial howl as the ability comes into effect. The nearby area becomes almost impassible, vision obscured behind blurring steel blades, and even the most resilient objects are slowly whittled down to rubble and dust. There is no intricacy to the technique, but it is brutally effective in clearing out the nearby area.
Eye of the Snow Wolf: As part of her release, Wolfina can cause her eyes to change colour to a vibrant shade of red. Through which she can exert Tengerou-hime's power to lock her foes down. Anyone who locks eyes with her whilst she is using Eye of the Snow Wolf can find themselves petrified, frozen in place, as they simply cannot move. She has trained to use both eyes with this ability and can focus upon two different directions at once using both of her eyes, but not both on the same target. Most frightening is that this ability has no range limitation, regardless of the distance if eyes meet then the ability can come into effect.
Should a target have less Willpower than Wolfina, they cannot move as long as they are within eyesight of her. After four posts, Wolfina will be forced to blink and must wait for two posts before using Eye of the Snow Wolf again. Simply closing their eyes is also enough for an opponent to break this lockdown, allowing them to move for as long as they remain blind, but doing so also resets the duration that Wolfina can use the Eye for. Even those with enough Willpower to move can still feel themselves being compelled to stand still relative to the difference in skill level whilst locked in eye contact.
Cornered Beast: During her release, Wolfina can enter a dire rage at any point at which she might typically be rendered unconscious or even outright killed. Despite the injuries that her body has suffered, provided she still has the basic means to do so in any capacity, she will continue to function regardless of her current state.
She is no longer considered mentally functional, treating her Mental Deduction as Untrained for the duration, and loses all ability to tell friends from foes. Everyone is a target and she will swing recklessly at the closest threat within thirty metres of her, moving via the most direct route to engage if necessary. She will also use the Eye of the Snow Wolf on her target if possible. Should her senses be impaired, via damage or abilities, then she will attack wildly in random directions for the remaining duration or until her senses return.
Her body will cling together by energy alone if need be, ignoring fatal wounds and ailments, until one of three situations comes to pass: three full posts since activating this ability, there are no longer any targets within thirty metres of her that she can detect, or Claudia Duvalier or one of her sisters orders her to stop. Once the ability comes to an end, Wolfina is subject to the full extent of the injuries that she suffered during this time. She will function at a base level given her current state, including either falling unconscious or dying as appropriate. Regardless, she can battle no more even if her body is still operational and is effectively out of any fight.
