Re: Golden Girls [Santa, Helle]

Santa tilted her head a bit at that, actual surprise showing on her face. "Oh? Wow that actually surprised me a bit! I mean I know I asked, but seeing how you were with the puppies in the window, I would have thought you'd have at least a couple! But I guess they are a fair bit of responsibility..." she noted calmly. even without having to look after them constantly, certainly she'd found that holding onto something one cared about could be a cruelly short experience. Somehow, they always seemed to slip through her fingers in one way or another, and for a moment her gaze grew a bit distant as she pondered such a thing.
However, the offer made by Helle caught her off guard. At first she wondered if she had misheard her. "Really? I could...visit them whenever I wanted?" She murmured. certainly she'd made friendly quickly before, but that was usually on her part as the initiator. but this woman was the one to make the offer all on her own! And truth be told, Santa's eyes shined slightly at the very idea of getting to see this puppy on a regular basis. She smiled down at it's little sleeping form before glancing back up at them. "That's be wonderful! This is ....VERY kind of you!" She noted, still a bit shellshocked. But in a good way!
"I'm Santa bye the way! Santa Estallar. What's your name?" She introduced herself, dipping eeeeever so slightly and slowly, a curtsy of a greeting rather than compromise her hold around the puppy for a handshake or a bow. Now she had the opportunity to look at the woman properly, she realized just how the woman was dressed. She was rather pretty, but also had a sort of ...seriousness to her. She seemed responsible!

HELLE ARMSTRONG
"I have never thought of having a pet," Helle admitted, but there are a lot of things she has never considered before.
Taking some time to focus on what she just committed to, Helle did not give Santa an immediate greeting in return. Her thoughts come first. She never had time for simple pleasures, but with her new outlook on life, she's capable of having way more fun. Her time away from the City of Lights was full of new experiences, but that life had no room for a pet, so she had never thought of it, but now that she's stable, why not?
"Hmm... Guess I'll have to renovate my home..."
On top of other things. Helle's actual home is basic, despite her supposed position. Santa coming and going doesn't bother her, especially when there's nothing of importance for the Arrancar to get into there. Santa seemed well-mannered enough though. Her small bow reminded Helle of the antics she probably would have pulled before becoming accustomed to modern mannerisms. It's only proper to not leave her acquaintance waiting for too long, so she pushed the expenses to the back of her mind and properly responded to the other blonde.
"It's nice to meet you though, Miss Estallar. My name's Helle... Helle Armstong."
Having a bit of hesitancy with revealing her full name, Helle pondered if she'd be recognized from it. Santa did not seem to know her physically, but names get passed around better than a person's looks. The least she can do if her name does cause pause is to keep her face gentle and friendly. Not everyone reacts cordially when Helle makes herself known.

Santa tilted her head as the woman talked about having never imagined having a pet before. Strange, but well, it's not like Santa herself could talk. She'd never thought of it either. Sch things had a way of slipping through the cracks she supposed. Still, the term rennovation caused her to pause. She didn't know that one, not like it was a term that she had experienced much, it wasn't exactly part of common parlance you used every day. Was that like cleaning? All the same, Helle finally recirpocating her greeting brought a smile to Santa's face.
"A pleasure to meet you Miss Armstrong." She noted fondly, before pausing as she looked around. Eyeing some of their surroundings. "Hm...." She paused and considered putting the puppy down so that they could talk. But wouldn't that make them wake up? Should they just take it home first? She cleared her throat a little before glancing up. "So how do we....?" She glanced around, and noticed an employee nearby. Surely they could pay for the pup and then get it settled. Then continue with their conversation at the woman's house? The little thing was fast asleep so she'd have to rely on Helle for most of the handling of any extra supplies. though of course, she'd intend to contribute. She DID have money after all. Having done a few off jobs in the city and other areas in the mid americas. Of course Helle would have to just fish her wallet from her back pocket, but better that than waking the puppy.

"How do we what?" Helle asked, blinking as she turned her head and noticed the employee.
...Oh!
"That? Easy."
Helle turned and approached the employee, having a brief exchange before the worker came to take the puppy from Santa. Helle came over too, opening her mouth to explain.
"They'll have to take the puppy and make sure he has all his shots and papers sorted. I'll handle that, so just wait for me, okay?"
With that said, Helle turned to head over to the counter to complete the purchase of the puppy. At the same time, another employee appeared and began grabbing other necessities: dog food, a dog cage, bed, and other items to help with raising a pet. However a new issue came up that Helle did not handle immediately, waiting until she had finished setting things up and returning with the puppy in her arms.
"Psst. Hey. Santa," She whispered. "We forgot to think of a name."

Santa nodded her head and watched as the little thing was gently retrieved from her grasp. Nodding her head in response to Helles explanation and looking on with intrigue as the other supplies were collected. Fascination written across her face as she watched the whole process, though as Helle offered that question she paused and seemed to consider for just a moment.
”Oh! How about Solito?” she ventured with a warm smile, glancing at the puppy with a fond smile. A little Sun indeed.

Solito? Is there a meaning to that name? Helle wouldn't know without a bit of research. Well, whatever the case, since they're only in this situation because of Santa, Helle will let the woman choose the name. Solito doesn't sound bad anyway.
"Solito? Welcome Solito."
This is something of a birthday, isn't it? On this day, this little guy's obtained a new home. Helle almost smiled, but her attention was pulled by a worker as they asked how she'd like the items taken to her home. To say the least, Helle had everything delivered to her abode, and she paid with a card that she pulled from her pocket.
"Now, Santa. Would you like to come home with me? For you to visit, you'd have to know where to go."

Was pleased to say the least when Helle seemed to approve of the name. Turning her attention to the little guy as she pondered things for a moment. Certainly she'd have to make sure to dedicate some of her time and energy toward him. And of course to get him acclimated to her more strange traits. She'd have to figure out how to do that. But for now, it seemed there was another thing to look into.
"Ah, of course! Lets' get this guy home!" She chimed, and that same sparkle returned to her eyes as she bounced a little on the balls of her feet, clearly a bit excited to see what sort of home
Helle occupied. What sort of home little Solito would be calling his home. And in some ways, it would be a little place she would becoming familiar with as well. But she didn't think too hard into that. For now, she was focusing on the here and now. She'd get to know this new, generous stranger as things went. After all she seemed nice!
That of course, didn't mean much. She'd come to be friends with many people who she'd come to understand were not good people. Calypso. Algos. Mazda. Even Tier had shown a willingness to enact violence with questionable motives. And some part of her did wonder if Helle would turn out to be the same.
But that was a worry for another day.

Helle is an interesting woman, but this isn't the time for deep introspective writing. As all the items are packed up and prepared for delivery, Helle walked outside the shop with Solito in her arms. She waited for Santa to follow and began down the sidewalk towards her house. Luckily, they are not far from the suburban area her home is located. Helle's first home was unfortunately damaged in Ichigo's attack, so she had obtained one further out from the Sternritter's headquarters.
They would continue until reaching a house of fair size with a fence that enclosed a yard perfect for a small dog behind it. Unless Santa had asked a question, any small talk would have been kept in small batches before they arrived at Helle's place. Helle would head to the porch and fumble around for her keys before unlocking her door and entering. Santa could come in right after and see the inside.
"Welcome to my little place," Helle would then say, revealing how mundane she lived. Nothing is too lavish, average if anything. Much like Helle's old home, it did not relate Helle's status in the Vandenreich properly. It cozy, and that's enough for the blonde Quincy.

The trip to the woman's home was nice enough! Nothing impeding their progress as the two blondes promptly brought Solito to his new home. Truth be told, Santa was beside herself. Eagerly following Helle as she led the way. It wasn't until they finally arrived however that Santa's eyes widened and she took a moment to admire the place. It wasn't very big, but it was pretty! Watching as Helle fumbled with the keys a little, once that little lock clicked and the both of them slipped inside, she promptly turned her attention toward their surroundings, smiling from ear to ear and then offering that warm expression directly to Helle.
"Your place is really nice! Very cozy." She chimed, clealry enamored with the humble little home. Her attention shifting back toward Helle before canting her head to the side. "You live here all by yourself?" She ventured with a slight bit of surprise. After all, Liltotto's place was just an apartment, and so having a spot like this all to ones self seemed like it would be lonely.

"Yes. I do," Helle answered, removing her shoes.
She is on limited time, but the benefits of being the boss means that limited time to her is fluid. For now, her time is better spent situating her current issue. Her home could use a bit of adjusting to better suit her new puppy.
"Alright, buddy," Helle then muttered as she let the puppy down onto the ground. She had asked if he's potty trained, which he is, but they warned that a new environment may unsettle him. Sporadic leaking may occur. Thankfully, with her powers, cleaning up pee or poop isn't horrendous, but she'd like to get the little guy familiar with everything as quickly as possible.
"Are you hungry?" Helle asked, turning her attention to Santa while Solito scurried on the ground, forgetting that Hollow do not need human food.
