Ah, so it was gonna be like that. Fair enough she supposed. No power huh? Kinda retarded in her mind, but hey, she supposed putting one's self in unnecessary danger was..... a cultural feature she supposed. Manliness and strength and all that dumb western shit. "No powers huh? I guess that makes sense." She lied. Especially when he proceeded to offer her a weapon. How was shooting something with a gun any less sporting than with a quincy arrow? What just because the gun was shittier it was somehow more sportsmanlike? Would the most sportsmanlike thing be just ripping something apart with her bare hands? Wasn't that technically WAY crueler and more painful for the animal?

But she wasn't really here to tell the guy how retarded his culture was. She was here to experience its ridiculousness in its fullness. Having followed him toward the Camp, she did look away from the weapons he indicated to look over it in general. Yea...it wasn't exactly like the ones she knew, but it was....familiar. A little too familiar, but she was a grown ass woman. And a little traumatic flashback wasn't going to keep her from focusing. Besides, she was going to be killing something, and that would be a good way to vent her anxiety.

"Just a knife will do fine." She noted calmly.

She blinked, pausing for a moment as she parsed his language. Wait, this was like, a group thing? And here she thought this was going to be some solo man vs wild kinda deal. "Oh yea? Gotcha......huh..." She trailed off. So it was not just a group thing, but a competition? Talk about probably not being on equal footing. Still, she noticed the look that he gave her and felt a slight tension in her upper lip. Noticing the incredulity. Yea well...a scrawny chick like her probably didn't seem like much, and beneath the skin, she felt a little pang of insecurity. Tch.

"I can imagine it would seem that way. So what is it we're going to be hunting? Not exactly super familiar with the wildlife around here." She murmured, glossing over the subject of her choice of weapon to try and get her head into the hunt itself. Her against some wild animal? This'd be a piece of cake. Well, assuming the spiritual residue hadn't effected any of the local wildlife.

She nodded softly and made a bit of a face. Deer huh? Nothing particularly big or hard to handle. Shame. Still, he seemed to be eager enough. "Works for me. So, shall we get to your camp then? Or do you have a knife on ya?" She ventured with a calm smile as she turned her attention to the nearby landscape. A few grassy areas, and a bit of forest off in the distance. Plenty of places for them to track down their meal for the evening.

She was largely unaware of his curious thoughts about her competency. Truth be told, she hadn't hunted since her time back in Malaysia, and she did wonder if she was a bit rusty. But well, rusty still didn't matter much when she could rip a deer in half if she had the mind to.
