Beyond Good and Evil [Adalwolfa, Safira]

This was just blissful to watch, to observe a country in the process of collapse like this was uplifting. She relished in the despair and hardship that it brought for those below. The hollow that was eager to witness or create strife and chaos lived to hear the song of their pain, it was the only enjoyment that she had found in this hollow existence. Ravenous hunger replaced by curiousity to witness the strength of the soul; where did it rise and where did it fall?

She could ominously float as the large hollow that she was above the city with none the wiser, a shadow looming over the ignorant humans below, but it did not bring the same satisfaction as taking a human as prey to allow her to steal their corpse as a tool for immersing herself among them. Her body was pretty, she didn't spend her efforts sparingly when it came to having the most exquisite of human bodies to interact with the humans as more than a predatory monster.

So the immense reiatsu emanated through the area around her like a sickly gloom that perverted all it touched. Its source appeared to be reading a book which she had no interest in. Her eyes were instead watching the faces of despair as they went past her with a out of place sneer framed with black hair and a respectable attire.

What a depressing place this was. Ada had known, of course, that it would be. She'd come here specifically to help in the wartorn area, but she admittedly hadn't been fully prepared for the depth of cruelty to be found here. So, instead, she simply walked through the country with her own belongings slung over her back for now, and she would have kept walking unperturbed were it not for the undeniable spiritual weight she suddenly felt nearby.

"My. Someone certainly doesn't belong, hm?"

Ada approached with a hand amusedly raised to her mouth, no fear apparent in her demeanor despite the obvious spiritual presence. Why should she be afraid? That was simply asking to achieve nothing of value.

What a peculiar thing to say. It was not the type of thing a foreigner ought to say to a local but she recognised that something was out of place. That meant she had some inkling of her true nature and that made her raise her eyebrow to the european. Spiritually aware humans were such a rare commodity that it always raised her curiosity to encounter them.

"So says the foreigner."

Safira retorted without denying anything. The dirty feeling of her pesquisa would molest the new person to try and gain an insight into her spirit. She clearly had some semblance of spiritual awareness but did she have anything more? Unfortunately this was not her strong suit. Safira's eyes assessed the environment rather than break apart an individuals that inhabited them.

"Then we're kindred spirits in that sense, are we not?"

Ada was hardly going to back down simply because her words might have seemed odd. She was no fool, and she had no interest in playing around with odd little games when dealing with a spiritual creature of such presence. The filth of the pesquisa told her a good deal of what she needed to know, and she sighed in an almost dejected way as she realized what such energy meant.

"A creature of base urge and hunger, hiding among these people like one of their own? I wonder if they know how close their doom likely is."
