Sin with a Grin[Isamu, Kurai]

To Isamu, seeing this guy betting every dollar he had was genuine comedy. He didn't even have to play any mind games with idiot, simply matching his bet the higher he raised. Each loss only made him look worse, and in his moments of desperation, he seemed to threaten him for cheating.

At the accusation, Isamu chuckled softly as he shrugged his shoulders back at Kurai to mock the man, pantomiming the movements of a clown who had no idea what was going on. As the game went on, Isamu simply maintained his own pace, directing the multicolored balls where necessary to ensure he would trap the man in an ideal position to secure victory.

Much to his expectation, he hit the pool stick against each ball at multiple angles, pocketing them into he reached the winning number eight. His victory was accompanied by the crowd jeering the man for his horrible loss. Setting the pool stick against the table, Isamu turned back to the man with a pleasant smile, as if he hadn't just robbed him in a fair game of pool.

"Guess that's that. Want to play again?"

"Hell no! You hustling son of a bitch. You cheated, fucker!" the man shouted and went to snatch his wad of money off the pool table. Kurai, however, had already picked it up and began counting it. His anger rose and he tried taking it from her hand, but Kurai put it behind her back. "Give me my money, you stupid bitch."

"That's not very nice; you lost it fair and square," Kurai said mockingly. "If you had smartened up at any point in time, maybe you wouldn't be walking home, but let's face it... You're drunk and a moron. You were probably gonna lose it to us or some hooker down the street." Kurai turned her back on the man while laughing, even though she could see he was pissed. As she counted their money, the man's rage got the better of him and he went to punch her in the back of the head.

The furious drunkard's reaction pretty much matched Isamu's expectations. The predictable anger that accompanies defeat. Unable to face the results, he intends to resort to violence, but his fist connected with nothing but empty air once a foot stilled his charge. Isamu effortlessly turned his body in Kurai's direction while his leg swept outward to distort his balance, sweeping him off of his feet in a single sequence of motion.

"Now, now. The only one who hustled themselves here is you, partner. No need to go attacking the lady for your poor pool skills. Of course, if you wish to get violent..."

Isamu would lean down, coldly glaring down at the man with a pair of murderous eyes, tilting his head to the side with a smooth smile.

"You can always try hitting me."

As expected, the man cut his losses, accepting his defeat to go elsewhere. Rising from the ground with a shrug, Isamu turned back to Kurai with a curious raise of the eyebrow and a lopsided smile. The daring expression painting her features was a fine little sight to behold, the way she bit her lip certainly stoking some measure of amusement in his own eyes as he wrapped his arm around the woman's shoulder. She wanted the night to continue? He was more than happy to oblige her in their mutual endeavor. If that meant he earned some more cash? Even better.

"No problem. That's fine by me. Where to next, Kurai?"

Isamu followed the woman as she pulled him along, matching her step for step. Emerald eyes scrutinizing their surroundings, he immediately ascertained that their next destination was likely somewhere underground, away from the watchful eyes of society. Why else would she take him to a shady part of town? Well, he supposed if he were regarding her with the eyes of an assassin, there were several reasons, but she had proven to be quite receptive to his charm which automatically eliminated any suspicion on his part.

Even if it played out like that, he was more than capable of escape. His large hands rested languidly in his pockets as they were through the old building. It was relatively silent at first, only for his ears to be hit by the tremendous volume of roaring applause from a large crowd. Cocking an eyebrow, his lopsided smile turning to a playful grin, Isamu whistled softly as he saw the two fighters from afar beating each other senseless.

He would have been remiss to say he expected this when she talked about earning extra, but it was pristinely obvious that his expression displayed nothing but unperturbed approval to her offer. It certainly beat losing any potential cash he earned gambling at a Casino, or any other gambling establishment for that matter. At least here, with his own strength and martial prowess, he could earn his keep. Turning back to her with a smile, he smoothly nodded his head, an oddly composed smile brimming with the excitement.

"Someone really wants to see me in action, huh? After intimidating that guy back in the bar, I'm already itchin' to throw down. Earning cash and putting a show for the lady? Count me in."

"Yeah, I'll sign the waiver. I can't imagine I'll kill the guy, but who knows? These types of fights can get pretty intense. Guess I'll see how it all plays out when I enter the ring, eh?"

Drawing pen to paper, Isamu took the moment to remove his shirt and request a pair of white wraps for his fists. Cracking his knuckles as he entered the ring, he surveyed the space, several strategies manifest in his mind. Accounting for every scenario, Isamu walked forward, his lackadaisical stride on full display, a languid motion that earned a series of jeers from the crowd, and a venomous glare from his opponent. Strategy number one was never showing your cards first. After all, it was far easier to play the role of the neanderthal to lull the enemy into a false sense of victory. Shifting his body back and forth, sizing up the large opponent, Isamu beckons him forward with a nonchalant wave of the hand.

"First hit is yours, big guy."
