Re: Buenos Dias Santa [Tier, Santa]
Wed Jan 10, 2024 12:44 pm
The smile on Santa's face was infectious! Winning. Losing. Such things had never been in her heart. But progress. The FEELING of being tested. Of putting out more than she had in the past. With Tier pinned to the Tree, she felt a surge of energy coursing through her as her spiritual pressure suddenly rose with excitement. Of course it was all a ruse. At any moment, Tier would simply blow her away or rip her to pieces.
And yet, in that moment, holding the woman's neck and shoving them further into the trunk of the tree. She felt a sensation that she hadn't experienced in a long time. Desperation. She wanted to do more. To leave SOME mark on the woman's body other than a measley bruise!
And as Tier latched onto her wrist, Santa promptly gave a sharp TWIST to her own arm. Snapping the bones ion her bicep and ripping it clean off. Flesh exploded from the stump at breakneck speed, and a brand new hand stamped over Tier's chest Barb-like hooks that had grown along the armored plating scraping against the woman's hierro as a Cero flared between her palm and the woman's chest. A Second one blaring against Tier's throat before promptly detonating. An attack fueled by the last of Santa's energy tot ry and wrack up some iota of damage before she completely exhausted herself.

Tier Harribel | The Shark of Hueco
The impossibility of holding Santa down had presented itself time and time again. Every action was met with a great abandon of oneself. The ability to break and repair is powerful. Tier's only method of truly besting it would be to attack Santa with power greater than she could handle. That would mean to fight harder than before, but this is not the time for that.
An explosion occurred, and Tier did not come out of it in one piece. She did not run, nor did she allow herself to be sent flying. She accepted the attack, dropping her own defenses to taste the extent of Santa's determination. Of course doing so meant she had taken a sufficient amount of damage, her clothing singed and body burned. The cloth around her face had fled, fluttering in the air as her mask's gnarled teeth smiled eerily at Santa.
The woman stared, unmoving, emerald eyes watching for what would come next from Santa.

A smile flashed across Santa's face as she landed those blows! Her heart pounding away in her chest as she was launched back, skiddig along the reishi in the air as she watched the dust finally settle and saw Tier in the crater left behind. Panting as she felt her whole body tingle with enjoyment. That she'd managed to damage Tier. Yes. YES. YES! She did it!
At long last, accomplishment hit her, and she laughed aloud to herself as she saw the damage to Tier's frame. It was no doubt just superficial, but the sense of pride in herself was incredible. And a wave of relif flooded her body as she slumped forward and dropped onto her knees, panting heavily as the rush of accomplishment burned through that desperate haze she'd been in before. Exhaustion catching up with her. While certain parts of her had continued to regenerate aggressively, some parts of her remained unhealed. Gouges and some cracks in some of her bones hadn't quite healed entirely. A conservative effort to only heal what was absolutely necessary. A testament to just how much Santa had been pushing her energy reserves.
She was tapped.
But she didn't seem worn out. Not did she seem deterred or upset, or anything. There was nothing but satisfaction in Santa's eyes as she locked eyes with Tier. Her ressurected form slowly melting down into a warm glow, reforming into her Zanpaku'to as her energy levels were brought back down to normal.
"I did It. I did....SOMETHING!." She giggled tiredly to herself, from both her usual mouth as well as the one that had formed along her ribcage. Yep, those changes were still there. She didn't have the energy to force herself back to normal. At least not for now.

Tier Harribel | The Shark of Hueco
"Yes. Something," Tier muttered.
Her emerald eyes stirred little, a small twinge behind them as she found herself a bit antsy. Santa gave her all, but what did Tier give? Of course, giving anything would have just been a detriment and unhelpful, but with all of Santa's satisfaction, Tier couldn't help but feel dissatisfied. It's probably just her Arrancar blood boiling. Even a calm woman like herself finds combat thrilling. It is not something she actively hunts, but when it appears, a shark finds it hard to not bite.
"You have amicable regeneration, and your creativity's molded around it," Tier started as she approached Santa. "If I were to give a suggestion, work on taking less damage in a fight. As great as it is, energy is wasted on regrowing limbs, and a smart opponent will focus on making you waste time on it."
She'd sit down next to Santa, one arm resting on a knee.
"A good start would be strengthening your attacks. That can be done by becoming more efficient. The less energy you need for an attack, the more power you can put into it."
