HIROE MIYASHIRO | Dream on
Disbelief had set in against golden eyes as Hiroe looked on with a stupefied expression. Of course, part of her should have naturally expected that someone as perceptive as her favorite classmate would have been able to at least contend with her trump card. The clattering of Ajora's blade was all Hiroe heard as the woman finished the incantation to her spell.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me---"
Since she had offered all her speed unto that single stroke, it was simply unfair to expect her to evade her attack immediately. Hers was a shikai that was still in its infancy, after all. It was something she had yet to master the nuance of. Momentum shift, change of direction, balance recovery... none of those skills were present in her repertoire yet, not with this ability. It would come in due time, though. She was certain of it.
She attempted to charge on her own two feet to avoid it, but the attack struck faster than she could recover. As such, that column of white fire was able to successfully earn purchase against her frame, catapulting her body upward. A loud crash accompanied her fall on impact, followed by a soft grunt as she broke into the ground, the wind knocked proper out of her body.
Wincing softly, Hiroe forced herself up by leaning on her sword as her ponytail came undone, long obsidian hair flowing roughly in the aftermath of her attack. Keh... Ajora really was a prodigy for a reason. In one aspect or another, part of her could not help but to enviously admire that quick-thinking mind of hers. The ability to shift on the fly was truly a remarkable trait. Even so, Hiroe had did pretty well herself. There were a few wounds on Ajora's body, proof of her efforts on full display. Walking briskly toward her, using her blade as a crutch, Hiroe cracked her neck as she grinned, partly to save face, partly to gloat softly about her trump card.
"Whaddya think about my trump card, Ajora~?" She ventured playfully.
