Very Big Beasts [Kanako, Khaana]

Khaana had to admit, she didn't think her little bluff would elicit such a response. IN truth, she could really onyl produce five of these lances normally with any sort of energy inside of them. She'd elected to make one proper one, the others were essentially just fakes, meant to stand there and look intimidating. But perhaps she looked a bit TOO intimidating as Kanako's energy promptly spiked and Khaana's eyes widened slightly. Well THAT was a cero she hadn't seen before. There was a sudden shift of energy into her legs before she shot to the side, a sudden burst of speed, stepping to the side witha blur of motion as she aimed to avoid that sudden burst of a Cero by darting to the side. Though before she could much react, that hit slammed into her from the side. Her arm raising up to try and take the hit, and with that sudden BURST of strength, Khaana's eyes went wide as her arm cracked, the initial strike promptly straining her arm, before she raised her arms up. BARELY able to deal with Kanako's speed as that hit SLAMMED down into her! And in that moment, her bones cracked. Gritting her teeth as the only thing that kept her from just losing an arm was that spear that tanked the hit, the weapon cracking only slightly from that powerful blow as Khaana's frame almost buckled.

Almost.

A grin flashed across her face and she let out a WHEW as she then SWUNG. Aiming to slice down the length of Kanako's forearms and along her hip with the sudden shift. A sudden flourish of the blade before that big black shadow beneath her suddenly shifted. And a MASSIVe hand suddenly slammed up and out of the ground. Big fingers as big as Khaana's bady suddenly aiming to ram up and into Kanako, a massive arm suddenly plowing into the woman like a train, aiming to slam her into the nearest tree as the dark shadow spat up the REAL might behind Khaana's abilities.

She was ... alright in terms of strength and speed. But frankly, even that brief exchange made it abundantly clear she'd have a hard time dealing with Kanako. But thankfully SHE didn't have to. The massive hulking form that emerged from the ground did. Over 10 meters in height. The big, white monstrocity peeled itself from the ground, it's body warping and turnign unnaturally to turn it's full attention toward Kanako, before it's big snout of a head peeled into a big grin, wings flaring up from it's back as it's joints popped in anticipation.


"Alright. That was a pretty good hit." Khaana admitted, flicking her wrist as she TWISTED it back into place, the bones crackling as she mended her gigai, pushing her wrist back into place before turning her attention back toward the Arrancar. This was a rough spot actually. That Cero had been way stronger than anything Amaranta had been able to put out. She might actually have to go all out to keep up with this one despite her peaceful demeanor.

WHAM! The force of those strikes made the ground crackle as Kanako's own strike clashed with the beast's own hit! The smaller woman definitely had an advantage, a splash of blood crackling to the floor as it's palm was bloodied by the impact with the stronger opponent. A hiss of steam escaping it's mouth as it narrowed it's eyes and ROARED out, that shadow still spreading outward. Covering the entire area beneath both Khaana and the beast as a MASSIVE spear formed, promptly plucked up by the beast as eyes opened up along it's length. Khaana was a bit past making a dummy, this was the second proper living spear she created and the beast promptly brandished the weapon as KAnako prepared a sudden closing in.

Just as she shot in, the beast twitched. It's head snapping to the side, seeming to catch sigh of Kanako's attack and LUNGING! Twisting it's neck to try and CHOMP down on Kanako even as that blade of hers slashed in, cutting into that wing, but not quite cutting clean through! The beast was VERY durable after all, and though she scored a hit, it's tough frame, combined with the sheer size of it's body merely elicited a screech from it's maw.

It would be then that Khaana's body suddenly seemed to erupt.

Bright, bloody wings plowed out of her body at odd angles, and she HISSED as her own spiritual energy suddenly spiked. Her body crackled as she promptly shot up in size, almost as large as the big beast as she transformed, her own spiitual pressure suddenly welling up in an explosive boost in power. A loud, crackling popping noise filling the air as those wings migraded all ovfer her body. Shifting into pairs which situated themselves at her shoulders, hips, and in a row along her spine, almost looking like feathery spines as her visage morphed.

It was at that very moment that the big Beast SLASHED. Though Khaana herself wasn't very strong. The blades she created with her power were VERY sturdy and sharp, sharp enough that the living spear aimed to slash her not to mention fling her toward the ground with enough force to create a crater.

While this happened, Khaana's transformation would complete. Three more spears spilling up from the ground as her arms tore themselves apart, splitting down the middle until she had four arms to grasp those four massive weapons, even the first spear swelling up in size as that shadow beneath her finally vanished, having chewed up a good ammount of the ground to fuel this transformation.

Khaana had learned her lesson from her fight with Amaranta. No point in holding back against an opponent this strong. Even in her release form, she was probably only about even with Kanako now. And that benefit would be gone if the woman released herself. And ... as much as Khaana had tried her very best to push herself beyond this form. She had yet to actually accomplish that. Just meant she'd have to use everything at her disposal to put this gal down. Assert some dominance as best she could. Maybe unnecessarily. Kanako SEEMED like a nice girl. But well, she'd seen how much putting up a good fight had gotten her with Amaranta.

Surely that was it. This was just to keep these arrancar in line. She wasn't even going to entertain the thought that deep down.... she LOVED fighting like this.

Khaana could feel her blood BOILING as her body steamed. Energy coursing through her frame as she narrowed her eyes at the Arrancar and watched her charging up that attack. Even though she was aiming at the Beast, Khaana SCREECHED out, and promptly those wings flapped HARD. And the air let out a loud BOOM as she vanished. A sudden burst of high speed as Khaana instantly closed the distance between herself and Kanako and aimed to RAM one of her clawed hands into the other woman's face. Aiming to shove that cero back into her mouth.. Of course, that put her at risk, but as that crackling cero blistered from Kanako's mouth, it suddenly stopped an inch from actually toucing Khaana's body, a flux of her own massive spiritual pressure condensed into a field around her body, repelling that thundering Cero as she attempted to shove it back in, or at least detonating it in Kanako's face, her own Seraphim Field protecting her from the blast, taking a hefty hit to her own energy reserves.

Kanako would HARDLy need to actually close in on the beast, as that thing RUSHED in and Leapt up and into the air! Screeching as it aimed to STOMP with both feet into Kanako, aiming to plow her several meters into the ground. Of course, making no move to block that sword strike, as the bladee would slash across it's frame, spilling a hot spray of red as that explosive electrical burst tore along it's body, cleaving into it's flesh and smoldering that thick, hukling frame with that crackling burst of cero energy! But that still didn't deter it as it aimed to collide with the woman. A massive gash torn through it's chest and across it's body, but that big smiling maw still widened despite the injury to it's body and the hot smolder of small patches of charred flesh along the surface of it's body. Still all too willing to keep fighting.

Well, it didn't take much for Khaana to realize how out matched she was. That sudden blistering eruption of spiritual pressure. Khaana had had to release just to keep up with Kanako. But now, that substantial difference between them was almost immediately reestablished. The only thing that saved Khaana from that opening punch was that her guard was already up. As Kanako BLITZED in , that fist SLAMMED into her Seraphim projection field and Khaana's eyes widened as she suddenly realized that a fist had almost slammed into her face! That field CRACKED inches from her face and the force cratered outward, shattering the ground beneath her before she gritted her teeth and roared out! Her wings as well as those spears arced in, and slashed, no less than six wings and four spears aiming to slice across Kanako's shoulders and hips before that field crackled.

That field around her suddenly spiked, and then promptly exploded outward. What had originally been a thin film over her body suddenly swelled into a sphere before expanding explosively. A thick shell of compressed air pushing outward before ramming into Kanako's body and expanding a full 25 meters from her body, full sending Kanako with terrifying force to try and launch her into the surrounding terrain. The sheer force of that expanding energy field shredding the landscape, a thick, thirty degree cone promptly carved out of the landscape as everything within that twenty five meters was promptly pushed outward, and at the very end, all of that excavated earth and compressed air was launched outward, ripping across the ground like a shotgun blast of what had once been even ground.

Moments later, that Seraphim would descend, having launched itself up and into the air those wings flaring, even with blood riplling from it's cut wing, it soared up, and then, just as Kanako was coming to a stop from that forceful push, it DOVE down, its wings folded, flying at high speeds to fall like a meteor, aiming to connect with Kanako with enough force to cause the ground beneath them to explode in an outward shell of broken ground.

Khaana of course was panting, she was far from gassed, but between that cero and then tanking a hit from Kanako in her ressurected form, that was MUCH more energy than she'd have liked to use all at once! But she was still grinning. That monstrous face of hers twisted into a smile as she charged in after her Seraphim. Those blades brandished along with her wings. Ready to rip into the woman while she still had energy.

Khaana had to admit she was impressed. As that cero fired in her direction, she SLASHED, cleaving through the incoming energy blast and splitting it apart, her wings wrapping around her body to tank the incoming blast of the cero before they FLARED, ripping the energy of the cero to pieces and FLINGING them across the battlefield in a scatter of smaller energy streaks. It was in that very moment that the Seraphim connected with Kanako. Every ounce of force SLAMMING into the Arrancar, as it's own massive limbs crackled a bit, certainly bruised from the impact as Kanako then promptly turned that attack into a sudden SLAM! The ground CRATERING as it suddenly was gouged into the earth! And its maw LUNGED! Aiming to CLAMP onto Kanako's shoulder and BITE down, it's wings flaring, ripping up the ground. Even as that second punch DROVE it into the ground, those wings shredded the nearby area with it's incredible strength, thrashing around! Of course, it wasn't able to fully free itself, but it DID break up the ground, causing the area to cave in and SINK, dropping Kanako into that deep pit as it continued to try and CHEW it's way through Kanako's body.

Which of course did put a bit of a hassle on an attempt for Kanako to close in on Khaana. But that was alright. Khaana was way ahead of her. As soon as that second punch had landed, that loud WHOOSH sounded as she simply appeared above the woman, those wings having propelled her toward the Arrancar at high speeds, all four of those spears raised! IT was then that the prongs of each spear peeled open, and their maws split. Geeth and fangs showing on each of their pointed tips as energy FLARED at their centers! Each and every spear dissolving as it gave up it's life energy to collect in the center of Khaana's face. Swirling into a single sphere.

Normally those spheres were designed to fire shots like Balas, with a limited number of times they could fire. But well, Khaana doubted they would even scratch this woman. And so she decided to use that energy for a bigger attack. Combining all of the energy within all four spheres into a single point at her mouth. But of course. Khaana wasn't stupid. She'd seen that fancy Cero from before. She knew that Kanako would likely respond with her own blast. And when she did, it would SLAM directly into that Seraphim Field. The air around Khaana promptly FLARING as energy built up. Putting MUCH more energy into that shield than normal, knwoing it would have to tank a lot before it promptly exploded downward. Aiming to drive Kanako, AND her cero straight down into the ground ontop of her Seraphim. This would accomplish two things: Block that Cero Relampago and mash it back into Kanako where it would hopefully detonate. Additionally, it would drive Kanako more than twenty meters straight into the ground. Which would be followed swiftly by that sudden BLARING attack as Khaana unleashed the energy stored in her spears in a sudden bright blinding beam.

Would it take out Kanako? Doubtful. The woman was sturdy. Would it also probably fuck up her Seraphim? Very likely. IT would probably run out of energy very soon after all this. But it still was a statement. Khaana knew she wasn't as strong as Kanako. Hell she probably wasn't as strong as Amaranta either. But she was smart. And if there was one thing she knew how to do, it was fight. And if EITHER of these women started slacking off and didn't continue improving, it would NOT take long before Khaana was the one on top.

CRUNCH.
Kanako certainly was determined, and that sudden burst of savage strength did momentarily pry it's Big Maw open, and with a savage burst of her own titanic strength, promptly twisted the beast';s head enough that it crackled. Not from any bones, but from the flesh shredding. IT's smile WIDENING as promptly, Kanako would feel three sudden vicious and sharp stabs into her sides. Both of it's wings slashing into her sides as the beast drove that spear into her body with both hands, taking advantage of both her arms being busy, and seemingly ignoring the brutal twisting of it's head, which CONTINUED to rotate another hundred and eighty degrees, as if to taunt Kanako's attempt at killing the beast.

However, suddenly throwing it's body up and toward Khaana, the Mod soul narrowed her eyes, and that beast's wings FLARED, causing it to suddenly but....sloppily veer course. IT was durable, but it had used a lot of energy, and rather than gracefully shoot offf to the side, it spun out, spiraling off to the side before crashing into the ground.

Tsk. Khaana narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth. HEr eyes narrowing as she spotted that sudden blurring. She herself had not had much trouble keeping up with Kanako outside of that surprise from before. After all, the woman's sonido wasn't all that fast. However, with this sudden speed and with the boost afforded by her ressureccion. She barely was able to sense the woman before suddenly those fists SLAMMED into her barrier from behind. That energy straining, and indeed if she HADN'T boosted her barrier to the point that it could have tanked that Thunder Cero, Kanako would have torn into that barrier. But as it was, Khaana was sacrificing a LOT of energy, panting as she turned in time to see that thundering beast trying to pry her serpahim field open. Until finally, it pried apart.and that Cero charged at point blank Range to Khaana. She stood stock still. Rather than trying to dodge, wrapped her wings around herself, enveloping herself in those hard armored lengths as two things happened simultaneously.

That Cero roared, plowing into her wings and streaking around her body. The energy lancing down into the ground below. And in that very same moment, her Barrier RAMPED right back up. Closing around Kanako's body to lock her in place as the BOTH of them would crash into the pit that Khaana had created, a tumbling MESS of wings and limbs slamming into the ground below. After all, Kanako was strong, but that barrer was tougher. Rather than wait for that monster to actually tear tyhrough it, Khaana had intentionally opened it up, only to clamp it back down around her.

Which still wasn't a great situation. It meant Khaana ate a point blank cero from the arrancar before the both of them crashed to the ground as Khaana bound herself up. Her arms and legs curling up into a ball, with her wings then wrapped around her body, and of course, that Seaprhim Field clamped around Kanako to try and hold her in place. There was no need to attack, not with Kanako going THAT fast. Frankly, Khaana had no chance to actually damage the woman significantly. She could try to drive those spears in, but well, she had a feeling they wouldn't do the trick. So. the Question waS: WHY was Khaana wasting energy keeping Kanako in place?

The answer came from above. Her Seraphim, soaring above the pit that Khaana and kanako had fallen into. Reeling back, it cocked back the spear it had used to attack with before and then promptly THREW with all it's might! That weapon glowing as all of it's energy collected along it's point. A loud BANG sounding as that weapon was launched down, aiming to pierce through Kanako's back. A big sturdy girl like her? No shot it would go all the way through, but even if it somehow did, Those layers of wings and her won massive curled up frame was very prepared to take the spear AND whatever kanako decided to try and throw at her.
