Re: Thunder At Midnight [Candice, Ehefra]

Candice Catnipp | Heiress Extraordinaire
"It's never about being equals. That's a mire for your mind that no one needs. Plus it's boring. Always take as much as you can. Doesn't matter if that's not as much as your partner if it's all you need."
Candice's lips danced across Ehefra's own, savouring that taste again after that explosion of emotion. If she had betrayed her trust then Candi might have cut her off, but crippling her didn't accomplish what she would have wanted. No, no. They didn't get to have the last laugh, she did. One way or another.
"And yeah, I can be a crazy vindictive bitch too. But that's not who I want to be around you. Kay?"
Smirking again, she pulled Ehefra in for another, longer, kiss. One that would last a little longer, meant a little more, and might just lull them both into some semblance of sleep. Sure, she'd kick herself in the morning for sleeping with her face on, but she'd need to get a whole new look sorted anyway. This bruise was gonna suck.

Ehefra grumbled softly but couldn't keep the smile from her lips as she sighed. She didn't have the energy to continue verbally butting heads with Candice. Especially not with the warm taste of Candice kissing her fresh in her mind as Candice slowly sank down with her, easing the both of them into a soft resting sprawl across the bed.
"Yea....I know~" She sighed fondly, her eyes slowly drifting to a shut as the both of them wound down. Having worn eachother out through this whole..ordeal. And now as the both of them fell quiet. Ehefra could feel sleep creeping up on her. She considered saying something else. But she was just tired. And the soft, warm embrace of Candice was ..... way too perfect to turn away. Too hard to keep her eyes from slowly drifting shut. And to have the both of them slowly slip into a soft snooze. It was late, and frankly, what little light in the room there was would probably dim as the pair of them drifted off. A well deserved rest for Ehefra as she felt.....calm and settled. That usual tinted edge of anxiety kept...for now .... at bay. And she was allowed, for now, a bit of true restful sleep.
And once the both of them were sound asleep.
Beeps lit up.
Silently slipping away from the pair of them, to return to Ehefra's bag.
