Refreshments [Shou/Open]

It is 6 in the morning in Karakura Forest. The sun was beginning to pierce into the darkness of the forest, birds was chirping as it was rise and shine. Nothing can possibly go wrong in a wonderful morning, right?

Right?

Boom. Crash.

"Hahaha!"

A girl's laughter echoed throughout the quiet forest along with multiple footsteps and a few trees falling. It was Shou, running away from a few hollows that was chasing right behind her in her sweaters. This would've been a moment of panic for an average person but she was clearly having fun, giggling and laughing away with a smile on her face as she jumped from tree to tree and if she fell off to the ground, she was able to quickly recover and hop her way back up to the higher ground - showing her athletic capabilities even if she isn't physically capable of fighting them.

Of course, she can't really continue this game of cat and mouse either or she will just attract even more to her direction if she is having a little too much fun over this.

Eventually she landed on her two feet into the ground, took a fistful of soil and punched one of the hollows with it.

"Be a good boy and quiet down, will you?"

All of the sudden, the hollow gets stunned in place by electricity coming out of her fist. It was Shou's power - she "bought" the power of electricity. It was just a fistful of soil so her power determined that its cost was close to useless but is still worth something, so it acted like a harmless stun gun that temporarily kept the hollow in one place for now without leaving any damage.

Now one down, two more to go.

Fu~ What a workout for a wonderful morning, isn't it?

Lambs to the slaughter~

That was the first thought which came to the mind of a teal-haired woman nearby. Wanting to have refuge, peace, and solitude for her morning meditation, the likes of Rita Grace had been disturbed by the sudden crashing sound of what was obviously some conflict. Given her capacity to detect energies, the woman snorted when she sensed the aura of hollows coming into the vicinity.

These types usually came in packs and attracted others. So, from a desire of not wanting to deal with a horde of them, the woman leaped from tree to tree until she observed from above what seemed like three hollows. One of the bastards was stunned, but the other two were active. With a shrug of her shoulder, she already knew her game plan: clear out the hollow, check on the girl and ensure the area was secured.

"One, two, three."

Muttering to herself, the woman used her breakneck speed to deliver a hard drop-kick to one of the hollows to try and one-shot them. As, with a release of white energy, a light explosion of her aura erupted around them before she jolted off that hollow and tried to deliver a powerful punch to the mask of the other. If these were lethal blows, then she intended to kill them, let their souls be released, and hopefully be reborn as something more pleasant.

"Yo, you alright, miss?"

Tilting her head around regardless of what happened, Rita wanted to make sure the other girl was alright; but was prepared to react on a dime if any of these hollows reacted as her teal aura became flame-like as she kept her defenses up.

As Shou's excitement was beginning to flare up, whatever's left for the next few seconds was an absolute slaughter - seeing the hollows she had trouble fending off herself being pounded down like sweet cakes at breakneck speeds without even having the chance to put up a fight. From there, she clearly knew that those hollows were just donezo.

Relaxing from her defensive stance against the hollows earlier, she brushed up the front of her hair and exhaled in relief, "I am all good. You saved me there. I was about to become their michelin star breakfast for the day."

Shou took the chance to also give a quick glance at the woman, impressed by the fact that she can also dispatch the hollows this quickly and with ease too, clearly a sign that this woman isn't someone that she can make enemies with especially right now. Hopefully she can safely assume that this woman is.. a good person at least? Since she went out of her way to help her out of this.

Although, she didn't really expect anyone to be out and about in the forest at early hours of the morning but again, if she herself is already messing around in the forest, so will there be others.

"Well, I can't say thank you properly without knowing the name of the great goddess here. So, what's your name?", reaching out her hand for a handshake with a cheeky smile on her face as she said that.

There was a sigh of relief given by Rita. At least the area seemed secured, so there wasn't a need to be super on guard. With that thought in mind, Rita stretched and soon had two shinigami come to the area after making a few taps on her phone.

Rita was never too far from her squad of workers, so these two male shinigami called the woman "boss" before dispatching the hollows and cleansing their spirits since all of them were too stunned to make a move. Well, that was easy work, at least.

Now with her eyes set on Shou, she blinked and had a hard laugh at her expense. Her? A goddess? Pfft, that was the oversell of the century as far as Rita was concerned. So, she patted the other woman's shoulder and spoke.

"The name is Rita Grace, but you can save the praise and goddess talk for another person. That's way too beyond me."

Snorting, she continued.

"But what in the hell is a tender thing like yourself doing out here? Don't you know it's dangerous in these forests to go alone? "

Well, it is good that her calling someone a goddess seems to manage to make someone laugh. Though truth be told, even for Shou, her appearance is definitely.. well, eye-catching to say the least even in her experiences in travelling.

She also soon noticed two men.. dressed in black robes? And calling Rita.. boss? Shou had an expression on her face that just writes, is she some daughter of a mafia boss or something? Nevertheless, that kind of thing just made her jump higher on the list of people not to mess with.

"That's a great name, Rita. Thank you very much for the help. My name's uh.. its Shou! Pleased to meet 'cha"

Quickly introducing herself, she answered back her question back afterwards.

"I know its pretty dangerous here but I don't like to sit still. So I came here to have a bit of fun."

Shou gave a thumbs up with a grin on her face as if she is proud to put herself in danger even though she isn't that.. well, with that appearance of hers, strong to even last a second here.

"It has been awhile since I'm close to home anyway, why not add some spice in my life?"

She is an avid traveller at heart and wanted to do things just like in the stories of adventurers going out on exciting quests slaying monsters. Well... nevermind, she can't slay anything quite yet.

Adventuring and traveling were all part of the human spirit to explore, gain experiences and find happiness in this world. Yet, by that same token, Rita knew the worse aspects that this planet had to offer. It was easy to become swept up in the darkness of this existence, and she just wanted to make sure someone who seemed so young and naive was prepared for that.

"Happy to hear my name is great, though. Nobody wants to be stuck with a wack name."

Tapping her chin, she observed the woman before getting on with her point.

"Nah, I get you. I love to fuck things up, explore, and all that, but I try to be mindful of where I'm at. There are plenty of less-than-savory characters that would take advantage of you."

With a nod, Rita kept speaking:

"If you need an escort back to where you belong, I'm down to walk and talk with you. There have been reports of abnormal activity in this area lately, so I don't want to see someone hurt that ain't prepared."
