Most who see Rio now will commonly see that upbeat personality. A pillar of support, she now aims to walk beside newfound peers, eager to pursue a life in the Gotei.

Status: After her defeat at the hands of Shishiyuki, her carefree nature has somewhat dulled now, and she's seen something of a return to the stern and stringent woman who embodies Shihoin pride at her core. Whether fulfilling her duty to the fourth or training in isolation, her mind is doggedly focused on correcting that shameful defeat in due time.

To her, complacency is disgusting. There is no worth in a life lived without purpose. Choose to evolve or choose to die. After all, how else can one grow without adversity? Status: Embodying her anywhere the wind blows mentality, she's remained largely prevalent on exploring earth to her heart's content. What is their concept of perserverance and how does it weigh up to her own? He has a heart somewhere, but he's been in playing a murderous game for so long that he tends to leave his morals at the door. To him, the ends do mostly certainly justify the means.

Status: With eyes set on a particular payday, courtesy of R, he's wondering now if it's pertinent to remain in the criminal underworld and continue killing to fill his pockets. With the possibility of his mother making a steady recovery and reuniting with a long-lost friend, he bides his time, thinking, and reflecting... where will his answers lead him? Only time will tell.

Of course, once you work beneath the layers, you'll find that he's a pretty understanding individual at heart. He doesn't exactly relish in watching his fellow men fall behind as a result of his years in eleventh, and he's about conflict and challenge and how that can build someone up long term. To be the man, you gotta beat the man.

Status: Nothing of particular note, but he's working on it. He's rarely a man to rest on his laurels. He's training this elegant lady he'd like to ask out on a second date.

Duty-bound and efficient, she is consistently working in Vandenreich's best interest, though a generous portion of her focus remains on Helle for reasons won't disclose to anyone. Her personality may come off as ice cold initially - oftentimes when she is on duty - but outside of such situations, she is surprisingly soft-spoken and respectful towards her fellow peers. As a result of her past and the way she carries herself, Freyja is socially awkward and is far from what one would consider a woman of the modern day. Literature remains one of her finest pastimes beyond duty, and it is a common sight to see her frequenting the libraries in the City of Lights.
