Re: Königsmord [Ignacio, Lilynette, Erchanhardt]

Lilynette's brows raised, peering for just a moment as she watched the man react. Huh, this guy had some pretty good reflexes to say the least. She didn't bother moving as she watched him throw that..... Punch? Well now wasn't THAT interesting. She was focused enough to see him. His reaction times. Even if she wasn't a master martial artist, she was more than agile enough to see through his movements. His reaction times didn't match up with the sudden double impact that she noticed in that counter.
Was he using a modified step tech to strike? No... no that didn't seem right. What was he doing? That watchful pesquisa of hers hadn't sensed something like that. All the same, in that brief flickering instant where the cero was blocked, she noticed the incoming attack, as well as Ignacio's counter. That wall promptly crackling as the attack plowed through, the residuals hitting her. Blue flames licking across her body. A partial deployment of her Capa de Piel Lloba. Hm. A pretty hefty punch. He was even stronger than she was. All of this information she was getting was also going to Ignacio as well. Thankfully, he already seemed to be using that information.
Thanks to Aullar Solo she could still see what was going on beyond the wall, even if it weren't for her pesquisa. Ignacio seemed to be taking a backseat. In a flash she promptly used Sonido to plant herself just beside him, those blue flames spreading along her body. Not to stay along her own body, but instead crawling along her arm and latching onto Ignacio, wrapping him in that thick pelt made from a shred of her soul. The air between them and Erchanhardt promptly peeling open with a descorrer, along with two more crawling open on opposing sides of Erchanhard, surrounding him as three of her wolves promptly leapt into the air, their pelts lighting up as the gargantas slipped shut, a playful smile coursing across Lilynette's lips.
"Heel, boy." She chimed in Erchanhardt's direction as the wolves promptly detonated. Light erupting in a brilliant pillar, obliterating their immediate surroundings before a loud deafening boom followed a fraction of a second later. Three massive pillars of reiryoku ripping through the city around them, practically glassing the nearby buildings and immediate surroundings in that sudden upsurge of energy. Lilynette of course, would be untouched, and since that Wolf Pelt was made of the same material as the explosion, Ignacio would also be safe, in addition to the added protection from the Emperor.
"He won't be dead from that. If he decides to target you, just open a garganta. The wolves on standby will be ready to hop to ya." She instructed Ignacio, all the while as small flecks of reiryoku peeled away from Lilynette's thighs, forming three more wolves. She wouldn't get the energy back from the three that just blew up for a moment and the pelt she put around Ignacio took up a lot, she'd have to be careful. She kept her pesquisa sharp and readied herself to follow up once she sensed any movement from the man. She lacked any of the intensity that Ignacio had. Nor the formidable will that burned behind Erchanhardt's. Lily's was a cool, steady gaze.
And a cunning one.

ERCHANHARDT BURGSTALLER | IMPERATOR GERMANORUM
Dangerous. Exceptionally dangerous. Were Erchanhardt a more arrogant sort, he might have taken the opportunity to test his opponents further, study their mettle, but there was none of that in him. He was the emperor, the sworn ruler and protector of these lands and its people. As his hand crashed into the black flame wall, he simply gripped it tightly, as if it were no different from a branch on the ground. If they wished to give him tools to work with, so be it.
As the wolves approached, he raised that black flame upward, whipping it around at the explosions and following with a shoulder tackle into the nearest one to push it away from himself and create further space. A risky maneuver, but every maneuver was a risk when you fought for your life. He certainly didn't wish to hold onto what vestiges were left of this black glame, and so he threw it toward his opponents, with speed frankly leagues faster than Erchanhardt himself was capable of moving.
He didn't think to follow after it himself, of course. If they wished to provide him with further means to strike back, and more time to adapt to their abilities, that was just as well to him. If they chose to approach, all the better. To overextend would be simply playing into their hands.

Ignacio Vega
It took an impressive level of resolve to simply grab fire, even one that took a physical form. The indomitable spirit of the Emperor certainly shined through as he picked up Ignacio’s barricade and launched it back at him, but the Arrancar was equally undaunted. This was his weapon, after all, and only a fool would fall prey to their own abilities.
A hand reached out behind him, momentarily wrapping around Lilynette shortly after she grabbed onto him in turn, whilst he raised his blade before him and simply let the wall crash into him. It would have been easy enough to dodge, especially for his agile partner, but he did not want her to inadvertently get in the way. His blade parted the core of the rubble, cutting through the black fire and consuming it in turn as his own energy was returned to him. The last remnants crashed against his Hierro and found enough purchase to tear chunks out of it but the worst of the storm was weathered by Ignacio alone.
“We shall have to hammer him into submission then. A surgical strike will not suffice.”
Letting go of Lilynette now, his statement elucidating enough of his intent that they did not need to stay together, he stepped towards Erchanhardt as a shield of steam emitted from his broken defences. Another black ring formed at the base of his Zanpakuto. Then a second, and a third. Each feeding into the other as they grew in size and power. The terrain around them had already been broken by the explosions of Lilynette’s wolves, so now he would double down on the destruction to try to force the Emperor to fight his fire head on.
“Karinzanjutsu, Third Ring. Infernal Sun’s Rampant Garden.”
There was the buzz of Sonido as he surged forwards this time. It was almost certainly not fast enough that he would catch his opponent off guard, but he was not the intended target this time. Rather, he was simply trying to get as soon as possible.
Then, with a thunderous boom, Ignacio thrust Tigre Garra down into the ground itself. The black rings charged along the blade of the weapon again; flowing under the surface, and for a moment there was nothing. Then, the first shockwave erupted from his position in a wide cone, churning the remaining ground between him and Erchanhardt whilst bathing everything along with way in another intense wave of heat.

Well now THAT was interesting. She didn't expect the man to just grab and start wielding a chunk of that flame. This guy was a lot more durable than she thought he'd be. Not only that but the sudden shoulder check to her wolf certainly affforded him a bit more distance as the wolves detonated and blasted the area. Tsk. She tilted her head a bit to the side, eyeing Erchanhardt closely as the energy from the wolves finally started seeping back into her. So then how to crack this guy... If nothing else, at least Ignacio seemed to have something in mind. She considered sticking to him, to boost the attack with a bit of cooperation, but no, that would just throw Ignacio's timing of his strike off. Instead, she hung back and watched the exchange. Her Wolf Pelt should protect him from the man's strength, and well, it was a part of her soul, if he started ripping off pieces and trying to use them as a weapon, she'd just have it break apart and reform on Ignacio.
"Strong and silent type eh? You really care this much about a couple of dusty chunks of metal and fancy china?" She ventured, waiting until Ignacio's attack followed through before promptly using sonido to slip in behind Erchanhardt. Her zanpaku'to promptly free from it's sheath as she slashed at him from behind.
Energy didn't seem to be the way to go, why no try cutting him apart? That bright glinting steel flashing and flicking in deft, flicks, intent on cutting into the man's back and dipping back, having to rely on her full speed to avoid that fancy little punch of his. Practically floating behind the man, and harrying the man's back with quick slashes each and every time that Ignacio went in for an attack. Adjusting the timings slowly.
A bit before Ignacio's attack? A bit after? Simultaneously? Each strike slowly testing the man's ability to handle being flanked, as well as seeing if that muscled body of his could stand up to her zanpaku'to. And of course...trying to figure out that strange trick of his. All while darting in and out, she didn't even need to guess that getting grabbed or pulled into a pressured melee with this man was a terrible idea. Best play it safe and just test the man's limits.

ERCHANHARDT BURGSTALLER | IMPERATOR GERMANORUM
In they came, ideal for Erchanhardt's purposes. As the fiery one upturned the earth against him, the Emperor's awareness remained all around him. The harrying blows from Lilynette were certainly a danger, but not so much so that he could give them his full attention when compared to the onslaught of heat and stone barreling toward him. Then again, perhaps that was exactly what he needed. As the energy flew toward him, he opened his stance, catching it head-on as if facing down a bull.
Then, naturally, he hefted it over his shoulder, slamming it down behind him and creating another rather impressive shockwave. If this girl wanted to stand behind him, then by all means, she could do so. Even for all his durability, Erchanhardt could certainly feel his body's ill response to having gripped such an intense attack head-on, but that was hardly his best. His attention returned to Ignacio, for now still more concerned about the flames than the scratch of a blade, and he stomped the ground to send up no small amount of stone and debris.
One breath in, one breath out, and he struck out with his fist at the nearest large stone, only for his arm to return to its starting position and swing toward another. In the speed of a single blow, he sent four stones barreling toward the flaming Arrancar, and sent one more with a wide, arcing kick.
"Metal and china? Inconsequential. I simply won't capitulate to invaders."
This was certainly not the kind Emperor that walked among the people, the gentle old man who read books in the town square and helped the children with their games. No, this was the man who had cut down demons in droves, who had liberated Europe with his own bare hands.

Ignacio Vega
The barrage of rocks hurtled towards Ignacio as he remained fixed in place. His form was unwavering, though he was under no delusion that this storm would be weathered unscathed. A hand raised, summoning forth a cero that was entirely defensive in nature, as he disintegrated a couple of them before they made contact. The third and fourth broke through the energy beam and crashed into him, tearing chunks out of his still-recovering Hierro before pressing further on and into his body itself. Ignacio would be the first of the three to bleed, as chunks of flesh were torn from his outstretched arm and torso, though he did not yet falter.
But there was a reason for his inaction, a purpose beyond simply proving that he could stand up to such an attack, as his other hand rammed Tigre Garra further into the broken ground beneath his feet. Now, as before, another shockwave pulse erupted from the flaming Arrancar though this one had even greater intensity. A wave of black fire now followed in its wake, arcing to crash down upon Erchanhardt and bury him under a pile of blazing dirt and debris.
Only then did Ignacio release his grip on his weapon and stand, catching the final rock with both hands and a firm stance. It barreled him backwards, sending him sliding further away, but with his focus now returning to defence, the loose stonework crumbled under his incendiary grip until it was little more than ash. He made to rejoin the attack but, at least for the moment, his body protested. His hands and arms had been brutalised by the Emperor's attack, and so he was left waiting there whilst regeneration finally kicked in, white flames now licking away at his wounds as the most negligible of them began to close up.

Lilynette had timed her jump-in so as not to get hit with Ignacio's attack, but she had hardly expected the man to suddenly grab one of those boulders and suddenly chuck it over his shoulder. She had to DART back, eye widening just a little as that rock plowed into the space she'd occupied a moment before, tisking as that sudden shockwave of heat and rock hit her and knocked her back, her hierro sparing her the impact, but that strong heat singed and hissed at her defenses, burning into a layer or two of her dense protection and making her suck her teeth in annoyance as it burned her.
"Motherfucker!" She hissed! And then perked up. Oh? She sensed Ignacio starting to go for an attack, and a smirk crept across her features as she promptly used Sonido, darting around Erchanhardt and promptly planting her hand on his shoulder as she sank her teeth into the fur-lined guard of her Zanpaku'to.
"Kick about. Lloba Blanca."
The force of her ressureccion boomed out, her own brilliant blue reiryoku erupting and twisting as it wrapped around Ignacio, and as he plowed that Sword of his into the ground, her own reiryoku pumped into the attack. What normally would have required enormous ammounts of training together to accomplish, with the connection afforded to them with her Aspect of Death, it simply came as second nature. They could feel the intentions of the other as their souls synched together, a process which killed lesser hollows. But Ignacio was more than strong enough to endure it. As that molten black wave of fire and rock gushed up, the black flames and rock rippled and congealed into the form of snarling wolves. Not only combining her own power with Ignacio's, but also with her Aspect of death, the strength and potency of his attack was bumped up to her level. A perfect combination attack.
And with Ignacio catching that flaming rock, she backed im up, keeping him from skidding back too far as she hefted her rifle up onto her shoulder. The burns and impacts on her own frame hardly vanishing, though once she spotted those white flames she perked up. "Shit that looks cool! You fuckin dipshit, you didn't tell me you were a healer, I coulda been way more reckless!" She hissed in indignation! Bah, but she didn't focus too much on that. Rather, she turned and propped her rifle up on Ignacio's shoulder, using him like a stand as she aimed toward the Emperor. While a black reiryoku piled into the firing chamber, filling the rifle with a Cero Oscuras, souped up with a shred of her soul. Ignacio would already feel what she was intending to do. Asking him without even speaking a word to pour some of that fire of his into the barrel to pump up the shot. Grinning as she pulled the trigger.
"Oscuras De Mandana~"
KLANG!
The sound alone would pierce the surrounding area as she fired, a cooperative Black Fire Cero Oscuras combined with a piece of her soul. A narrow slug shot from the end of the barrel, aimed squarely with the assistance of her Pesquisa straight toward the center of the Emperor's chest. Buildings, open air. Even the dogpile of hot rock and black wolves Ignacio had dumped all over the place would part like water as the full force and might of her attack was compressed into the shell. Rather than simpl,y burning and raging through the area, it would simply perforate straight through, intent on burying itself into the emperor's chest.
She was the cautious type, and some small part of her doubted the attack. Remembering the way he had wielded that shred of the flame walls used by ignacio. She didn't need this bullet being caught and thrown back at them. Which is why the instant it perforated the man's body, or if by some miracle: he caught it. The bullet, as well as all of the black flame wolves blanketing the area: Would promptly detonate.

ERCHANHARDT BURGSTALLER | DER UBERMENSCH
In an ideal scenario, Erchanhardt would have been able to follow up on the attacks he'd sent toward Ignacio, but this was far from an ideal situation. The combined might of the two had made the black flame barreling toward him into a far deadlier force, and while perhaps he might have dared to try and match it under different circumstances, the explosive release of energy from Lilynette made him far more cautious. No time to sidestep, no chance to simply evade it. As the wave of flame came upon him, there was little else Erchanhardt could do but strike directly at it, his fist moving toc leave the attack in two. His fist connected, reset back, connected again. Four impacts, made in the same spot near-simultaneously. It wasn't enough to make the attack a non-issue, certainly, but it kept the injuries he sustained from it merely in the realm of "painful" rather than "crippling."
Unfortunately, the sound that echoed through the air told him that this was far from over. There was no time to formulate a plan, but in a fight, instinct was more important regardless. He knew the answer to an attack as powerful as the one he felt flying toward him, and he knew he had few options. Without a second thought, Erchanhardt steeled his whole body and turned, his back and soulder meeting the attack in a forceful, defiant kao tackle. It had intended to simply redirect some of the force upward, but as the cero exploded, with enough force to shake his stance and rend his body, he had to consider it a blessing that he had turned away. Just as much a blessing, he supposed, that the two had operated in tandem, infusing the attack with the black flame to which his body was rapidly acclimating. Otherwise, he might well have been cut down then and there.
Before the smoke could even clear, however, he had already begun his response. Erchanhardt had pushed them to utilize a release, and that meant he was far from out of this bout. All the muscle in his legs tensed as he took up a different stance, the tremendous energy of his body now directed into a technique that was not his own. He had far from mastered this, but he did not have the luxury of relying only on what he had mastered. The training he had undergone with Yugiri would have to be sufficient, for he likely only had one opportunity for a surprise such as this to work. He took one breath, fighting back the pain of his wound, and then he stepped. Reset. Stepped again. Four steps made in the blink of an eye, building upon one another and utilizing the fundamentals of shunpo, made with all of Erchanhardt's physical potential.
And, of course, those steps were all made in service of a crushing body blow to whichever Arrancar he struck first, fully intent on grabbing them and forcing the battle to ground. After such an onslaught, even they surely couldn't be prepared for him to approach, much less as quickly as this.

Ignacio Vega
"It is little more than passive regeneration."
That was all the response Lilynette would get from Ignacio as she lined up the shot with a rifle on his shoulder, a hand rising up to clasp upon the barrel as he poured his flame into it. Her release had certainly been felt, the sudden hum of power that she now resonated with was enough to begin to rattle him simply from the complexity of their shared connection. But he was not yet at his limit either.
Then the air itself parted as the attack was unleashed, and he did for a moment wonder if this would be the final blow. But his senses were sharp, sharper than they had ever been before, so he felt Erchanhardt's deflecting tackle even if his eyes could not perceive it through all the wreckage and destruction. If he had detected it then so had Lilynette, so there was little need to convey that this fight was not over. Instead, he knocked her rifle from her shoulder and began to advance again. His flames alone would have been enough to ward a lesser foe from approaching directly, but it seemed that the Emperor had grown to enjoy the heat. Still, for all his seeming resistance, there would have to be a breaking point. He would find it in time, but likely not quite yet.
He made it all of a single step forwards by the time Erchanhardt hurtled into him, the raw burst of speed catching even his heightened senses by surprise, but it was because of them that he did not simply crumple under the impact. His Hierro was still weak, recovering from the previous attacks sent his way, but Ignacio's body was by no means frail. The blow connected, rocking him as he felt every fibre of his being protest at the sudden strain, but he steeled himself to simply bear it. To endure regardless of the damage.
Then his hands moved in, grabbing at his foe as they tried to simply hold him in place. Every attack they had thrown at him had been deflected or evaded to some degree, he was prepared to be thrown to the dirt and beaten down if it meant that he held the brute in place for a few precious seconds. He was not as strong as the other man, certainly, but he didn't need to keep him there forever.

Lilynette didn't enjoy underestimating her opponents, she hardly expected that her shot would have finished the guy off, not with the way he'd been shrugging all this other stuff off. But what she didn't expect was for the guy's spiritual pressure to suddenly zip around in an ALARMINGLY familiar style. Shunpo?! Her eyes darted in time to see Ignacio rushing to intercept the incoming human, a soft suck of her teeth in annoyance as the energy from the previous blast slowly spilled back into her as she loaded the rifle with another cero oscuras before turning and lining up. She winced, thankful that she'd wrapped Ignacio in her pelt as he took that hit and latched onto their target.
A sly snort, wondering vaguely, if something along the lines of 'just shoot through me' were crossing Ignacio's mind. Fat chance of that. The very next moment, she promptly used sonido to flicker herself toward the pair, intent on planting her feet onto Erchanhardt's shoulders to press the barrel between the Emperor's shoulderblades as a grin spread across Lilynette's features.
"Buenas noches, maricón." That loud KLANG boomed out once again as she fired another round. Intent on plowing it directly into the man's chest, though frankly at this range: it would probably go clean through him, not even bothering to detonate the round as she sought to end the Emperor's rampage with the shot.
