Umasi is Five Foot Ten, With a unique set of Multi-colored Eyes that is somewhatly Casted behind the bangs of his red Hair. He Wears a normal Kimino with a belt Tied Around his Waist, Blue and White in color with a Unique Design on it. He Holds his Katana within The Belt as a Hosteler. His right eye is a Pure blue as the Other is Soft Purple with a Red Ring around the Retina Due to being inhabited from a Demon.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Personality: He is a spirited young man with a very strong sense of justice, even more so for that of a knight. He is a knight who would solve the larger problem before the smaller ones. He can´t turn away from those in need, and once he has decided on a path it is unlikely that anyone would deter him from it. He may be seen as naive and young, usually stating ideals considered impossible, such as "saving everyone". After losing someone important seven years prior to his Shinigami Revival he becomes a lot more self aware about his actions and takes responsibility for his own actions. He is also a kind and hard-working young man. He is also somewhat a charmer, and he seems to know exactly what to say, often resulting in women swooning over him, much to his dismay. He always seems to want to help those in trouble, regardless of gender. He also seems unable to refuse a request from anyone, and is often told by Hugo to walk his pet rappigs, which he doesn't actually mind doing. Umasi is a kind and gentle soul, and a very talented cook. Despite his kindness, Umasi is extremely hard on himself.

B A C K G R O U N D

History/Background:

Human life...A Stolen life:
Umasi was born Emilio Gilchrist/Emilio Katrea, the second child of Hugo Gilchrist, President of the Oberon Corporation, and his wife Chris Katrea. He also has an older sister named Rutee Katrea, who is two years his senior. During his childhood, Umasi was attached to a girl named Marian.

One day, Hugo came upon a hollow named Berselius, possessed with the soul of Kronos, leader of the Ae'therians. Hugo, whose mind was being taken over by Kronos, was slowly losing his sanity and managed to kill Chris. However, before he completely lost his mind, he sent Rutee along with Atwight away somewhere in order to protect her. However, he was totally consumed by insanity before he could save Emilio. In turn, he trained Emilio to be a cold-hearted warrior.

Umasi utterly despised his father, but had to follow Hugo's orders, as he brought Marian, whom Umasi was greatly infatuated with due to her resemblance with Chris, to his house as a maid and threatened her life should Umasi do anything bad. As he trained, he showed great swordsmanship and discipline and due to Hugo's association with the Kingdom of Seinegald, Umasi soon was promoted to the position of Knight Captain of the Kingdom.

However, It is a ploy by Hugo to lure everyone into a false sense of security. When nobody suspects it, he uses the Oberon Corporation members and Umasi to steal the Eye of Atamoni once more in order to bring back the floating continent, Aethersphere, which was sunken centuries ago, where he would resume his plan for world domination. At first, Umasi is reluctant to help, but Hugo once again uses Marian to threaten and coax him to his side.

Heros then eventually learns about this and pursues Hugo to an abandoned mine below a factory named Libra IV. Just before they catch up to him, Hugo sends Umasi to hold them at bay. Umasi consciously accepts the task and starts to antagonize his friends, all in order to protect Marian. He also reveals his relationship with Rutee, but attacks them nonetheless, betraying the group he worked with. Eventually Umasi is defeated. As they fought, the mine is flooded with water, while Umasi stays behind on the only remaining piece of land, too injured to move on. He gives a last laugh and farewell to Marian before dying. His Beginning to Shinigami Hood.

Meeting Sophie:
One day, Umasi and Hubert go to explore a flower field in a mountain that lay close to their hometown of Lhant. As they neared it, they saw a purple-haired girl sleeping in the field. They soon introduce themselves to her and, because of her lack of memories, decide to name her Sophie, inspired by name of a flower that she was fascinated by.

Losing Someone:
Soon after meeting Sophie, young Umasi planned to explore the Menos Forest with Roy and Sophie; however, Roy does not show up. While waiting for him, Umasi accidentally discovers a secret underground cave beneath the Forest, and the party decids to explore it. During this quest, they discover an unconscious Roy on the ground, and Umasi hurries up to wake him. While he and Sophie tend to Roy, a Hollow appears and attacks Hubert and Cheria, leaving then unconscious. Umasi, in his fury, naively runs up to the monster and attempts to attack it. He is severely wounded by the monster, but at the last moment is saved by Sophie. After this, Sophie is enveloped a bright light, and launches an attack towards the monster just as Umasi blacks out. Umasi is awoken by Sophie, who is overjoyed that he is alive. Happy for her, Umasi smiles as she helps him up. Just as he sits up, the dying monster stabs Sophie in the back, then dropping her. Sophie struggles to get up, her wound releasing energy rather than blood, and runs towards the monster, exploding in a flash of purple light and obliterating the monster in the process. As The explosion, Unbeknown to Umasi, Sophie killed the Monster as kept herself dormant inside Umasi, Changing his left Eye a Soft Purple.

Later, Umasi awakes to find himself in his own bed at his house. When his father visits him, Aston tells him that Hubert has been moved to Strata, and that Sophie had died in the cave. Shocked by this, Umasi leaves the Lhant territory in order to train in the Gotei, so he can become stronger and protect those he holds dear.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Shokubai shūen (触媒終焉; Catalytic Demise)

Inner World: His Inner world is that of a River. A Cascade mountain range in the background.

Sealed Zanpakutô : In its sealed form, Shokubai shūen is a normal katana with a Oval tsuba with inward-curved corners with curved slits above and below the blade and a series of curved lines embossed on either side of the blade. His Zanpakuto is 68 cm in length With a white and Red Handle and a Black Sheathe, The Guard of the blade is Silver.

Release: "Induce" (誘導; Yūdō )

Shikai Description: Placing his zanpakuto into his Sheathe, The Zanpakuto then dissipates the sheathe into a Purple Energy all around him. Swirling around his Hand that was continuing to hold the hilt, it then Morphs into a Long sword with a Purple Tassel at the end of the Hilt. The Blade Has a Silver and Blue Engravement of the words "Twilight" in Kanji.

Shikai Abilities: Shokubai Shuen is a Zanpakuto with the ability to control the speed at which chemical reactions occur. He can increase or decrease the energies emitted or drained in such reactions. For example, he could increase the heat, emitted by exothermic reactions like oxidation; he could also increase the chilling effect of endothermic reactions. He can increase or decrease the speed or rate at which reactions occur, like stopping iron from dissolving in acid or causing steel to rapidly transform into rust. The Power can continually affect a target as long as it functions. Any results are permanent if they do not involve a living subject.

Examples of Catalytic Controls:

Increasing the hero's Strength and Endurance by increasing the metabolizing of oxygen and food (or whatever the body uses).

Inducing suspended animation in a living target by stopping all biochemical activity, especially decay.

Forming compounds by simply mixing materials together and not needing heat or special conditions.
