Heard You Got Turned Into Paste [Candice, Giselle] - Page 2 EXUX3FC

Candice Catnipp | Heiress Extraordinaire

And there it was, Giselle was the one that broke first. Candi didn't know why she needed to feel that high from watching her break a little, it wasn't like she wanted to hurt her or anything. There was just something a little fucked up in her head that made her do all these things, and she really didn't have to. But was it better that she knew that and continued to act this way, or remained ignorant of it?

Because, not even that deep down really, she could feel just how much Giselle cared. It was in her grip, in her words, in her eyes, and in her heart. Not because Candi was a psychic or anything. She knew these things because she felt them too. She was the one who had dropped everything to fly halfway around the globe to be here, who'd not slept a wink since the news broke about the attack, who was ready to throw her life away fighting some unfathomable monster because they had dared to hurt her friend. It was amazing really that Giselle had been the one to falter. So, as the other woman turned away with a dejected frown etched onto her weary features, Candice nuzzled in with no regard for personal space or patient welfare. Blonde hair getting all up in Giselle's face as she firmly planted herself upon her partner.

"Of course I do."

Gone was the arrogance, the devil-may-care attitude, and in its place was another fragile girl trying so desperately to hold everything in her life together with her bare hands. She didn't want to lose Giselle either and seeing her genuinely scared by something only galvanised those fears that swelled within her chest. They were immortal, maybe, but they were far from invincible. And that truth was laying even heavier on Gigi than it was on her, so she nestled up real close and dropped her voice down to a soft little whisper.

"I'm not going anywhere Z, not without you."
