Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger[Saber/Kenichi]

She couldn't help but smile just a little as she saw the light of interest flickering behind his eyes. Oh she knew that look~ Even the suspicious glance given in her direction as he considered it was all too familiar. He wasn't the first human she'd worked with. But she had to admit, he was the only one she'd conscripted into working with her on something like THIS. Hunting her own kind. Some might have questioned her behaviors, but those idiots would know nothing about the cutthroat existence that was being a hollow. As far as she was concerned, those other hollows were idiots and a threat to her continued survival. That meant they had to die, and if that could include her devouring them then all the better. She rose up onto all fours and gave him an approving glance, canting her massive head to the side.

"A true shame that Shinigami love to lord their authority so often." She muttered, a brief flicker of her own disdain before promptly tilted her head back. Gesturing for him to approach. "All the same, come here. I can tell you're strong, but you move like a beetle. It'll be much faster if I simply carry you." She instructed him, turning her attention to their surroundings.

She could smell the other hollows nearby. Well...relatively speaking. "There are a few lingering around. .. A small group of four north of us... a pair to the west. And that big fucking idiot just south of us hiding. I say we go in order of numbers. Munch the small fry, they're so weak they should go down pretty quickly. When we take the pair, that should draw out the big idiot, and then we kill him. Sound reasonable?" She hummed before glancing back down to the young man. Only noq realizing she didn't have his name. Good. If he died, his new name would be 'dinner' and that would be that. IF he managed to stay alive, she might consider asking him for his.

After all. Pluses were good eating... and Shinigami were.... alright, but far too rare and problematic to consume. But other hollows? If she could keep up this little pest control gig. She may have a MUCH more consistent source of food.~

She narrowed her eyes ever so slightly as the young man introduced himself, a little snort escaping her nostrils as she watched him crouching. "What do you think you're...." She murmured, peering a little at the young man before watching him try to LEAP up onto her?! Ah.... he really WAS rather slow. Before he was even halfway into the air, she FLARED her wings open, and then gave a powerful PUMP of her wings, launching herself toward him and snatching him out of the air with her teeth, snagging him by the scruff of his outfit before the pair SPED into the air at such speed that Kenichi might not even know what had happened!

Just as quickly, water flowed over Sabertooth's body, promptly camouflaging her as it bent the light around her body, and Kenichi would soon feel that water wrapping around his own body! Promptly adding him to the cloak and soon the both of them were cloaked. BEfore long, she finally slowed down, gliding through the air as Saber pointed the young man toward the group of hollows. "There they are. Shee them? The fucking idiotsh. I'm going to fly you over there. Once were closhe enough, I'm gonna drop you. Shtart dishtracting them and I'll finish em off." She instructed.

The group in question was a number of long snakes, each of them easily over 8 meters in length. The hollows were coiling through trees, circling a small park as though stalking for Prey.

It would be at that point that suddenly, Sabertooth would break into a dive, tucking her wings against her body, and the pair of them would begin plummeting towards the ground, and the Hollows as well. The ground rushing towards them until finally, her wings popped open and she banked hard! Suddenly slowing down and letting go of the young man's shirt, practically throwing him at the group of hollows before her veil peeled back from her face, spiritual energy revving between her teeth before she fired a volley of Bala towards the hollows, peppering them and causing a series of stunned shrieks from them, momentarily stunning them from the impact before Kenichi would land.

Well, for a brick, he flew pretty good.

Those punches would devastate the snakes, as they were DEFINITELY not up to his own tremendous level of strength. As his fist plowed into their frames, they would jar, crack, and bleed as they were stunned, completely caught off their guard! They attempted to form up, no less than siz of them trying to garner some sort of response as they turned their attention to Kenichi. Soon starting to circle around him as he began thwacking away with that powerful fist of his. Those not yet injured closing in first as the others deformed and battered by him attempted to slink off to recover.

It was then that Saber, or "Sasha" made her presence known. The one that had moved furthers, it's head dripping blood, it's mask partially crushed, promptly no longer had a head, ripped clean off it's body with a powerful chomp of Saber's teeth. The other snakes didn't even notice as the long length of their bretheren crunched, was chewed, and swallowed, no doubt thanks to the concussive effects of being beaten. And thus, her strategy became very clear.

The Hollows continued to circle Kenichi, hissing and baring fangs, but none of them was keen on getting too close, and he would find with his martial prowess that he was plenty capable of retaliating. Though they WERE starting to back him up against a tree, and Sabertooth was still munching her way through those trying to escape. They were weak, simple, stupid things. And soon, six was down to three. Just the ones that hadn't been battered with the sudden attack. Kenichi still would have to contend with those sharp fangs and circling serpents long enough for Sabertooth to come in and finish them. But frankly, he would likely find it very easy, as she certainly hadn't lied about how strong they were.

"Awfully gentle, aren't you?" Sabertooth spoke up, watching as Kenichi promptly dispatched the remaining snakes, making her way over and promptly stomping on their slim frames, a CRUNCH sounding as bones were reduced to a bloody mess, and she bent down to pull their agonized bedies into her mouth, promptly consuming them even as her veil kept her body hidden, sparing Kenichi the sight of her actually devouring them. And at long last, when they were gone, she peered at him. In no hurry yet. They had hardly expended enough energy to cause alarm. Thankfully this little fellow didn't use any energy getting around. Peculiar.

"You don't so much as flinch seeing them being eaten. Not even turning away. But. You're being gentle. You could have been far more rough. The rest of our prey won't be so easily dealt with." She pointed out and dropped her veil. lowering her head and nodding upward, once again indivating for him to approach her so that she could pick him up again and they could go to the next group of hollows. Of course, she didn't just snatch him up. But rather gave him a moment to voice his own concerns or plans. Frankly she didn't expect any sort of satisfying answer, but all the same, humans did so seem to enjoy being heart. And if it kept this one compliant, so be it.

She couldn't help hut hmph softly. She frankly couldn't understand it. But then again, she didn't have to. Leaning down , she promptly snatched the back of his shirt and lifted his effortlessly off the ground. Thinking about how simple it would be to simply sink her saberfangs into his spine. Probably not. She'd made note of his strength and those fists. He was durable, those powerful punches hadn't even harmed his knuckles. Further assuring her that she'd made the right decision in choosing not to try eating him.

She gave no ceremony this time around. That cool watery veil wrapping around the both of them before she launched herself into the air. That sudden loud rush of air roaring around them as the pair shot up and into the sky, circling around before heading to the pair of hollows. Almost immediately, a growl of annoyance escaped "Sasha" as they began to draw near.

Just as she had suspected, they were causing trouble. At first Kenichi might have been forgiven for thinking that there were only two hollows. But looking closely, he'd soon find that wasn't to be the case. A mount and rider. A large, skeletal horse hollow seemingly made entirely from bone, a black ink dripping from it's bones. Along with a secondary hollow with black writings scrawled across it's body. It didn't seem very special, just a very large, ugly hollow save for that dark writing along it's frame.

What WAS more alarming were the bodies. Human corpses scattered, as least six of them. Their bodies cold, there was no clear indication of how long they'd been there, but chains hung from the bony horse's mouth In the process of swallowing the pluses of the dead humans. IT disgusted Saber, what a complete mess. Not even any ATTEMPTS at trying to make it look as if there had been some sort of accident. "Shame tacktick ash before, Human. Keep them bishy." She hissed before diving down, once again employing that very same tactic as before, diving down rapidly and releasing Kenichi at the very last moment.

But these hollows were far more aware. The rider atop the horse's back turned, glancing up, seeming to notice the approach just before Kenichi would land, and suddenly that dark ink leapt up into the hollow's hand as it SWIPED up, that black ink forming a sword as it aimed to slash the man in mid-air. A far cry from the snakes, it was not nearly as fast as Sabertooth, but it was fast enough that Kenichi would not simply be able to out maneuver it easily.

Already the horse also seemed to react to their presence, though it's head turned, following Sabertooth as she flew around overhead. This time she watched closely. A few bala wouldn't be anough to disrupt THIS thing. And so she watched and waited for an opportunity to use her fangs or her claws. staying hidden as Kenichi was left fighting them directly.
