The forest dweller

It was a dark empty night, in Karakura. Probably because of how dangerous it was, or had at least become. Due to the years, this place was becoming unlivable in some parts. Thus, people were advised to go in to sleep at reasonable times, given if they were humans without special abilities. If the person possessed the abilities granted to them by being from another race or being blessed at birth, they could still enjoy the solemn peace of the night. Granted, they defeat the high number of hollows that got through the barrier. On the other hand, none of this would hinder the individual who was walking into the forest, at this moment.
Shirou Emiya, an individual with not a bad bone in his body. The young boy had just helped save a girl from a bad group of gang members, and let her get on her way home. He stayed here, in order to relax for a moment. His mind had been thinking about so many things, this year. Meeting Archer was one of them. He honestly did not enjoy the presence of the man. Nor did he even like him that much either, Funny considering how much he enjoys having friends. However, this man was someone he could not befriend. He spit on Shirou’s ideal’s, of being a hero.
Something he took pride in, something that was his entire life. The first time he met him, had caused pain within Shirou’s mental state. Some of the things that he had seen, as a result of meeting that man were horrifying. Shirou didn’t deny the images, and had been wondering what had happened to that man, and if he had suffered that fate, thanks to traveling the road of a hero. Shirou didn’t deny that it may have been impossible, but he couldn’t stop now. It was something he had put his whole life on, and he lived each day towards completing his goal.
He was also thinking of a girl, that he was living with along with Iori. What was it about her? Every time she appeared and spied on from afar, he felt a connection. However, it only lasted for a moment. She usually runs away from him out of fear and being shy. He took a deep breath and sighed, as he looked up at the beautiful white moon. A smile crossed his face, as he put his hands together. “Well I can’t worry too much, my mother always told me to be positive no matter how hard the tasks of life can be…” he said as he patted the bag that was nestled next to him. It was some left over lunch, from School. However, as the night was progressing. He couldn't help but feel something looming over him...What was it?
