Squelch. The mud aimed to drag each step this boy took down in to the earth.
Squelch
The grey clouds formed together, as if that bright blue sky had been taken over. As if, it was no more. It was dark, even for a time like this. Four PM, there were no children playing in the streets. Hardly anyone walking around to shop at all either. It was dark, even in the houses. The windows were pitch black, electricity fault?
His trainers which were once white now were horrible mud coloured ones. Why? Because It was raining. It was thundering and now, it was hailing. It hurt, the frozen pepples of ice hurt as they hit the back of this boy's head. As they jumped from his body and landed on the muddy earth.
This weather had stayed in this city for seventy-two hours now, areas were flooding. Electricity in some areas had already blown. Sparks flew from the wires in the dark never ending distance.
The puddles on the side of the street were to much for the earth to absorb. It was as if, the world was flooding. His clothes were dripping with rain, his hair was dripping with rain. He shivered slightly, regardless of the layers of clothes he was wearing. Not to mention his jacket over on top. He was still cold. As if someone had filled the world with ice cubes.
It was quiet, school finished at least twenty minutes ago. But not this boy, for he lived in the Soul Society. Why was he in a gigai? He had been sent out to the World Of The Living for three months to eliminate any hollows that would appear and do what any other Shinigami would do. Protect the Innocent.
Only lately there hadn't been many hollows appearing at all. The rain fell harder, the hail hurt more. He winced slightly as his pale face let out a sneeze. Right now, he didn't feel a hundred percent.
Avoiding a huge puddle on the side walk it wasn't long until a car sped past him in the road, spraying him wet with the muddy puddle. His spikey Raven-black hair was no more as it dripped with water almost straight. Sneezing again before he stopped.
The hotel he was staying at was closed due to the weather, he sighed again.. Although luckily he had no possesions in the room as it all lay in the backpack of his he bought to school.
Reaching, in his pocket to get out his mobile phone. Looking down at the screen to see it was soaked from the rain. It had sunken in through the plastic outing of the phone and in to the wires.
It was of no use to him now. Turning the corner before noticing a small shop he had never seen before.
Perhaps, he could use their phone to find the nearest hotel that was open. Making his way to this shop as he read the sign.
"Urahara...."
Was all he could read before some hail fell in to his eyes, wincing as he looked down to the muddy ground before stepping on to the wooden entrance outside the door. Letting out a soft knock on the door trying to hold in another sneeze:

"Mr. Hat-and-Clogs"
"Well can’t you see…… the resolve to cut you reflected in my sword?"

Looking up from behind the counter he could hear the rain falling on top of the building that housed him and a couple other people, taking a couple steps back he then leaned against the counter a little bit that was behind him, a cane resting at his side as he had it in his left hand there were candles that were lit all over the shop, the shop of Kisuke Urahara, a very old Shinigami that has been around for over 700 years, most likely even older then most of the captains in the gotei 13 right now. Moving around a little bit he then walked over, placing his cane on the ground every step using it, even though he had no use for it as he was walking, hearing that 'thump, thump, thump.' The cain was hitting the wooden flood as well as his sandals that were on his feet, walking over toward a unlit candle he then lit the candle in a instance.
You could smell that candles in the air, it wasn't that they were anything special, it basically just smelled like oil, almost like one of those old lanterns that you would take around if you were walking around in the dark. He then felt something, a small spiritual pressure that was walking outside, tilting his hat down a little bit he then smiled a little bit, he might as well open up the door for the person that was about to come to his shop, whenever he felt any reaitsu at all around his shop, he knew there was either a shinigami or someone coming to talk to him, it was happening more and more recently the more people were starting to find out about him, but did he care? Not really, it was worth finding out more stuff from the people that always came around.
As he reached the door he slid it open, just as the man was about to knock on the door, the man was already bringing his fist down to knock on the door when Kisuke simply brought his hand up, cupping the fist in his hand to make it so that the man didn't actually hit him. "Hello, Who might you be?" Raising his eyebrow a little bit as he looked towards the man. His hat that was white and green was covering up part of his blonde hair that was about ear length all around, what almost seemed as purposeful the hat completely hid his eyes, only being able to his white eyes that were now staring into the mans in front of him.
"Either way, whoever you are you might as well come in." Dropping the man's fist, Kisuke was making sure to hide all spiritual pressure and everything, some people didn't exactly know about him and he didn't want to be found out so easily if a person that had such a low reaitsu found him out by shear accident. Walking over toward the counter he then grabbed his tea that he had made only a few moments ago as he took a sip turning back toward the man. "Would you like some tea too? I have bundles of it, also if you need anything from my shop please feel free to ask."

Looking down at the wooden floor as the boy's hair blew in the cold breeze he noticed a small light coming from the gaps of the door. Judging by the flickering, a candle?
Someone must be inside then, although, this made him wonder. Was this a shop or a house? Well, judging by the sign it must be, perhaps he should just turn back right now while he had the chance.
But just as he did he heard a faint tapping sound. It was hard to hear from this horrible weather, oh right. He remembered, it was raining.
Although his fist that was about to knock on the door was soon caught, he jumped slightly in shock. Did this man know he was here the whole time?
"Hello, Who might you be?"
He heard the man say as he was about to answer before noticing his hat, green and white. Unusual, but hey, don't all store owners have something weird about them?
"Either way, whoever you are you might as well come in."
As he was offered to go inside he followed the man in, although he felt slightly uncomfortable. He didn't really want to intrude or anything afterall he only just came here for one thing...
"Would you like some tea too? I have bundles of it, also if you need anything from my shop please feel free to ask."
No, it wasn't tea! Although a nice refreshing hot drink did seem nice.
"N-No I'm fine! And I don't want to intrude!" :He said quickly bowing his head:
"My name is Kenji....I-I was just wondering if....I could...borrow a phone! T-The hotel I was staying in is closed from the bad weather..!"
Introducing himself quickly, Kenji then gave a reason as to why he needed to borrow the phone.
"I-I hope I'm not being rude! I-I can just go if you want! I'm sorry!"
The boy rose back in to his standing position being careful to not knock any candles over. He didn't want to start a fire after all.
