Please just Normal [ Ehefra/Micaiah]

What a bizarre thing to say. She nodded softly, but kept her thoughts to herself as she considered the information that was being presented to her, eyeing the cards that were being put into use, as if trying to spot the actual construction and deconstruction of the objects. Was that what was going on? Were they simply sealed? Compressed? A million possibilities ran through her head and she began to surmise the possibilities of all of them before the woman promptly pulled out that slip of paper and pointed out that she didn't have anywhere to stay.

Perking up just a little ehefra couldn't help but put on a helpful smile. "Ah I see! Well there are a few establishments that offer places. Some of them are even fairly cheap, how thin is your budget? And ....actually how long do you plan on staying in the City of Lights?" She ventured,. as her thoughts admittedly did begin to wander a little. IF it was some short stay.... she could just offer them a room in her own home right? Not only that but she could also possibly see about studying that strange gourd.... No DAMMIT Ehefra! You can't just fixate on this stuff!

But still, it wouldn't hurt right? She had briefly taken in Ira and helped train the girl. This was FAR less intensive, just as simple as giving her a place to crash. But she dialed it back for a moment. The girl might just be looking for a hotel or something.

"You're....rather casual about not having a place to stay though. Is that normal for you?"

Ehefra gave a light nod in response to the woman's explanation, lightly rubbing her chin as she considered the possibilities. It certainly seemed like the ideal situation that wouldn't cause too much trouble.

"Well if you like, you could just stay with me for a while. I have a pretty big place. Especially if it's not going to be a very long stay, I admit you seem like lively company, and honestly I could use a bit of that with how work has been going." She noted with a gentle smile and a nod. Truly this was something of a blessing, right? This seemed like exactly the sort of thing she could do to help clear her head. Truth be told, usually she wasn't the type of girl to just......go spending time shopping or some shit. She enjoyed sociability, the kind of thing she just didn't have as an OPTION in Malaysia. And well...a lot of the people she would USUALLY hang out with had something of ......complicated situations revolving around them now. Micaiah might just be the new friend that could help her through this slump of hers and get back on track to throw herself into her work once this little mini vacation but also not a vacation, was done with!

There was also the question of just who it was that Micaiah's friend was, but she wasn't going to be quite THAT nosy for the time being. She was sure it would either come up later or wasn't important. What were the odds it would be anyone she knew anyway?

Ehefra paused for a moment and thought about it. "Ah, actually I don't think I actually ever measured the place. But its fairly big, four rooms." She murmured lightly, pausing for a moment when the woman went and brought...THAT up. Her eyes widened just a little. Wh-what?! WAS IT WRITTEN ON HER FOREHEAD OR SOMETHING?! She didn't even THINK about this girl like that, how d- Ok hold up Ehefra, she might just be making a guess! There's no way she knows about anything else. She's just being precautious! And frankly it was a good thing to get out of the way.

"Ahah, oh don't worry about that. You DEFINITELY don't have to worry about any of that from me. I'm a scientist!" She noted with a smile, raising her hand and promptly reishi congealed above her hand, promptly constructing a set of sunglasses out of spiritual energy. Thankfully she had been playing around so she already had the template programmed into Beeps, who was currently wiggling around in her bag. A demonstratio! ...Ok it was a little bit showing off, but still. " If anything, I'm far more interested in how that Gourd of yours works than anything. But don't worry, I'm perfectly aware that there's boundaries, especially since we only met." She noted with a light chuckle of assurance. Definitely a lot more calm now that she was thinking rationally.

Ehefra paused for a bit at that and waved her hand. "Oh, hahahah, no bot that kind of scientist. Biology isn't really mt forte. I mean...I DID manage to give myself Blonde hair once, but Bodily alteration is more of a side interest than my specialty." She assured the woman. That little red swoop sure wasn't natural of course, it had taken a bit of fiddling to make her hair grow like that.

Though when Micaiah brought up the subject of 'Magic' she simply broke out into a grin. "Exactly!~ So many of these spiritual abilities just happen..BECAUSE! When I was learning to be a Quincy ti was almost absurd how people just....TAUGHT this stuff without knowing how it worked! It was infuriating! But I managed to figure things out." She grinned from ear to ear and promptly closed her eyes, taking a moment to concentrate before she promptly reached up and tapped her glasses. The little thing twitching a bit before they floated up off of her face and spun slowly in the air, the arms of the glasses flapping like wings. "I actually discovered a spiritual language! Well...sortof. My dad raised me teaching me to be a programmer. So when I learned Quincy stuff, I started applying what I knew to it! And it turned out that theres a sortof....language. There's what the spiritual particles are physically doing, and then there's what they TELL eachother to do." She noted, gently tapping her nail to one of the arms, causing the material to promptly convert, applying an Elemental Conversion program. It took a bit of concentration as she brought up the script in her own mental headspace, a few adjustments and then... Bam! The arm of the glasses had converted into ice!

"I've only managed to do simple stuff. And truth be told, there...IS a possibility that my unique abilities simply...GIVE rules to something that generally just works off magic. I still have yet to see if others can replicate my results. But at the very least, I HAVE been able to make up a few Spirit Scripts based off the abilities of others." She ....paused...and then cleared her throat. Huh, she'd kinda let herself get a bit carried away there, and she felt her face turn a bit pink with embarrassment at ...nerding out in public like this. "Ahem... well anyway. My point being that you don't have to worry about me running any like....biological experiments. And any other experiments I WOULD run, would be done entirely with your consent if at all. I'm not that kinda gal." She noted with a sheepish smile.

Ehefra couldn't help but chuckle just a little at that comment, glancing up and running her fingers through her hair. A few weeks ago, she would have internally snarled at such a suggestion. Truth be told, she did feel a little weird hearing it now. But all the same, she ....entertained the idea for a few seconds before pushing it aside. She doubted she was going to attract any partners with a haircut like that. Not the kind she wanted anyway. She might try it though...

"Ahah, I'll consider it. And well....I dunno I get a bit weird talking about it too much. Reminds me a bit of my dad.. He always ranted about this kind of stuff when I was growing up, so it's always a little strange catching myself getting into the same patterns." She sighed, rubbing her eyelids before canting her head to the side at the look Micaiah was giving her. The woman clearly enjoying seeing her nerding out, which only made her feel MORE self conscious. "Ahem, in any case. You ain't gotta worry about anything at my house. I'm not some....rampant lesbian, and I like to think I'm not particularly nosy." She noted with a light, lopsided smile, chuckling at the very idea. She had .... a LOT of problems. Thankfully that kind of thing didn't seem to be one of them. Her.....endeavors as of late, were generally controlled, and usually tied to alcohol. Hm...mental note: do not drink around this woman. It always paid to be a little aware of your surroundings when near a spiritual, as her dad always said.
