Looking for the Captain? [Meninas, Sol]

Meninas was so bored, her captain had told her that she was in charge while the captain attended some business and the tall girl sat at the captain's desk. Apathetically staring at the thing while she flicked some pencils back and forth. The maccaron's thoughts were empty, not expecting much given that no one ever approached the captain's office. It was very obvious to her why, because she was scary and people sometimes gave her that same look too. She didn't get it. Wasn't like she got anything out of devouring people, maybe they just didn't like her because of that associated with Gamu.

That was reasonable too.

"Hnngh. I'm so bored."

She whined and put her hands down in frustration, the desk getting two new dents into it. Damn it, now she would have to fix it. Not right now though, later when Gamu yelled at her to fix it. Then she would do it. For now she was content to just rest her head down and take a nap until Gamu got back.

"What do you want?"

She waited a long minute before she said it, yawning as she sat up from the position that she was sleeping in on the desk. As far as looks, it wasn't impressive with her shihakusho dangerously open at the front and her hair everywhere. It was neither a very professional look nor was did it scream "scary monster" as people sold for the captain's reputation.

"Hnngh, what a good sleep. Are you here for me?"

It was a simple question.

"Captain..."

Meni parroted but didn't counter, why would she expend effort to refute the inaccuracy of it. If he assumed, she wasn't going to correct him. He didn't ask her outright after all so she just tilted her head at his next question, looked down and took a hold of her chest like she was thinking in a very peculiar way. It was hard for anyone to try and follow what she was thinking about - not a lot.

"Do you want me to fix my robes?"

She said incredibly apathetic to the whole thing, why did people make her have to expend energy or do stuff? It was so annoying.

"...."

He didn't give her an answer, his comment both said approval of the way they were and then said that she should cover up but he didn't say either as the pathway and so Meni stared at him blankly before returning to her normal apathetic look and she leaned over the desk with a bored expression. No actions taken either way.

"Um. So what do you want?"

She asked, being as vague as he was frankly. What did he want? Could've been said as what he wanted now that he'd delivered the letters which were still in his possession and not on the desk but there was no stipilation and it wasn't exactly clear that she had gone back to the topic of original discussion before her big boobs and how he liked them became the discussion.

"Okay, put it where ever you want."

When he asked the question she just stared at him blankly as she thought about it. No she wasn't the captain, was this guy stupid? Meni reciprocated his yawn before she answered. This guy didn't know how to be to the point and spoke so vaguely so naturally she responded in kind.

"I'm in charge."

She said to him, it sounded confident when she uttered those words but it was just because she was parroting Gamu's words. She did say "you're in charge while I'm gone, stay here until I get back" and so that's what she would do.

"Um, unless you want anything else can you go away or are you looking for something fun to do the pass the time?"

There was no clarification on what something fun meant, Meni said that while thinking of some stupid game to pass the time such as a thumb war or rock paper scissors. Maybe she did know on some level that it could be taken as innuendo but whatever, people struggled to decipher the things that she said at times and interpret it correctly. It was just a victim of her awful social skills.
