Hello Nostalgia

He'd arrived here learning little about the whereabouts of Ulv Auber. Though he didn't seek her out, as it wasn't his purpose here. Takehiko had left his resignation to the Gotei organization, deciding that he didn't belong there anymore. It was a choice not made lightly, given his ascension through the ranks. Becoming a Vice-Captain and getting training from Lady Momo, She'd taught him a fair amount, but so had the woman here. The difference was, he was stupid and didn't understand. Ulv tried and tried to reach him, to break that shell. Lamenting the past didn't help in any place. He carried medicines with him that he bottled. Using herbs from his garden before he left. Having his mentor in the city check them to be sure.

Around every corner, he rounded were reminders, visions of his past. One corner where he accidently released his Zanpakuto. Leaving behind the Kuchiki Manor to seek out Hoho instructors. Bouncing around from idea to idea, never staying in one place. His frame walked over to that corner away from the people. Facing the mistakes you made was a part of life. Did Ulv have such problems? He doubted it. The woman seemed strong. She didn't seem like someone you could flap or annoy.

He touched the building wall in the ally, his lips pulling upwards into a soft smile. A simple world with simple mistakes, but when they mounted, it became terrible. He'd travel around from here on as a wandering medicine man. Helping people out with the skills he'd refined. He imagined the Captain likely was displeased with his exit. But he no longer felt satisfaction at the Gotei or where he was. This was needed for him to move on.

To start a new chapter in his life and see where it took him. In a way, he was starting all over from a new place. A new place inside him and away from the Gotei. Maybe he would return when his journey of discovery was finished. With a final grimace, Takehiko pushed off the wall, going around and completing his deliveries. Helping his mentor out and preparing for another part of his journey.
