Descorrer Specialist
In her endless pursuit of knowledge, Ajora developed her own specialized method of Descorrer, the Arrancar's advanced version of Garganta for various purposes beyond simply traveling from realm to realm. Over her many years of experimentation with the ability to open and shape the pathways between worlds, she has developed a number of unique and unusual applications for the ability.
Unlike other arrancar, Santa and Ajora are even capable of using Garganta mid-combat, or have the tears in space swallow them rather than having to step through the opening.

Garganta Destrozada (Shattered Throat)

A simple, yet unintuitive ability. By opening up a branching Garganta, this allows her to create a network of garganta all connected to the same general space. The most basic application of this ability is to create remote points through which the user can observe multiple areas similar to cameras, by warping and narrowing the garganta to serve as points of observation. In more advanced applications, this ability can be used to create a single opening but with several end points in varying locations, effectively splitting whatever passes through the garganta into separate pieces, allowing the user to split attacks like bala or cero as well as changing where the angle and path of the attacks. Using this ability in combat requires Advanced Focus. For safety reasons, physical objects or living souls that pass through this garganta are simply moved to one of the end points and are not split.

Ulcera (Ulcer)
A basic hollow ability in which a hollow will only partially erode the barrier between the valley of screams and the realm they are hunting in. Using this basic ability, normal hollows are able to remain undetectable whilst still being able to sense targets in the world of the living, giving them the ability to ambush prey easily.

Santa has rapidly transitioned from a stagnant and aimless life between Hueco Mundo and the World of the living to something more progressive. Initially having no real reason to grow in strength, Santa's existence had been mostly observational. However, thanks to her encounters with Neliel and Tier, she has grown bolder and developed the intent to better herself.

This transition has almost immediately caused an increase of conflict in her life. From her encounter with Jules, to meeting and training with Algos Algos. This has also resulted in a radical shift of Santa's mindset, goals, as well as the awakening of something deeply important to her: Her Past.

Three major changes have occurred.

First is the general increase in some skills as Santa's desperate and brutal fighting style has pushed herself to her absolute limits by nature of her Aspect of Death. Fighting in a brutal self-destructive manner, intentionally ripping herself apart and remodeling herself with her unique regeneration and the use of her Garden (Corpse Desperation). Each and every fight/training has pushed her to use these abilities to the edge of her desperation and will. From her relentless restraining of Jules the quincy, to her struggle against such sweeping attacks that Tier was capable of, to managing to push Calypso using her Resureccion. In this short amount of time, even with her simple mind, she has hit the hard limits of her current ability to use her powers, and endeavored to pass through them.
The Garden, Sonido, Bala, Cero, almost every tool has been utilized in an attempt to overcome her own weakness.

Second has been the triggering of Santa's Aspect of Death. Desperation. While somewhat related to the first change as it served as the major reasoning for her approaching Algos and Calypso for training, it is still a significant change all on it's own. During her outing with Algos and the Encounter of one being: Mazda; Santa encountered not only a being completely and fully beyond her scope of ability. But one that stood to be a direct obstacle between her and what she desires. Ultimately in her past, she had been able to exist around such powerful beings simply by virtue of her suriveability and being able to avoid or just outlive whatever punishment they deign to dole out to her.

However Mazda has introduced her to a whole new type of helplessness: While she can find ways to escape or scrape out a survival of her own, the new slew of friends and associates she has made in her golden age of Living World exploration has caused her to now have to take into consideration the survival and circumstance around those she cares about. While she could reasonably imagine that out of either pity, underestimating her regenerative abilities, or simply having no real REASON to be erased, Santa found that Mazda presented a very real threat to Algos (So far as she was aware), and stood as a barrier not only to her friend's safety, but to simply existing in the world of the living. The man was arrogant, powerful, and adamant in the brief exchange, and Santa INSTANTLY grew to dislike him as he presented a target which she could not conceivably deal with or even hamper in the slightest.

From this realization, her Desperation was awoken. An unmatched desire to fufil a goal: To become strong enough to warrant Mazda's consideration. And while Will alone is nothing close enough to achieve such a goal, Santa immediately began the process of heading toward that goal in garnering Calypso's training as well as Algos, the latter of which resulted in her third change.

Third: Ajora

IN her desperation to compete with Mazda, Santa expressed her willingness to do ANYTHING in order to achieve this goal. And in an attempt to awaken Santa's connection to her Aspect of Death, the woman unwittingly awakened a dormant portion of Santa's Psyche:
Ajora, the Original personality of Santa. A Hollow driven by her aspect of Desperation to endlessly seek knowledge. An ordeal that came to be so insufferable that she intentionally inflicted brain damage to herself and kept it from healing, thus resulting in the shattered psyche that came to be Santa Estallar.
Rousing Ajora from Santa's Psyche, and causing her to manifest using Santa's Corpse Desperation Garden. Ajora now exists Tangent to Santa, and while this has not progressed Santa's powers, it HAS given her access to a small number of the abilities she had lost in Ajora's Self-mutiliation. Most specifically, the tools closest to her heart: those having to do with information gathering.
