Re: The Twink Hunter Begins (Santa/Calypso)

Pause. The sudden vanish of her target caused her eyes to narrow. And eyes began blooming all around her, the air suddenly THICK with the smell of blod as her garden grew, eyhes slithering into existence. And catching sight of that little body as it landed on one of the pupils. Santa's face twitched, grimacing a bit at the sensory input, not that it hurt, but it was still an awkward reading.
But all the same, when Lily suddenly came to be human sized, a pair of sharptoothed mouths grew from the ground, yawning up and then CLAMPING, attempting to bite into her ankles until she simply ripped her way out of them. Were this a serious fight of course she'd probably be boomed, but when Lily rushed toward Santa from behind, the arrancar suddenly blurred, flickering from sight in a sudden burst of speed. Sonido used to slip back, moving backwards and to the side to slip past Caly and fire a trio of Bala into the woman's back, attempting to stagger her before the Danava promptly zooped away..... not that far at that.
Santa licked her teeth for a moment and let out a slow, steady little sigh, picking her teeth. And Caly would suddenly feel that aura grow HEAVY around her. That aura that was her garden thickening a bit. As a fleshy form grew from the ground behind the Danava quietly, a torso spilling up from the ground as a bow made from bones and sinew slithered into existence in it's grasp, taking aim at the woman from behind as Santa spoke up, the hands that had, presumably dropped to the ground after Caly ditched, now growing into complete clones of Santa, save for the mouths strewn all over their bodies, dripping with that yellowy bile. "Well what's next Sensei? Am I still trying to hit you? Or are we switching lessons?" She asked, grinning cockily as she did, striding casually toward Calypso as her clones spread out slightly as well. Circling the woman.

ENTER THE DREAMER
Caly panted softly when she felt the ground twist and shift into even more organs. Gods, was there ANYTHING this girl couldn't transform into her?! The teeth would gnash against her flesh but fail to truly penetrate it, as scales rippled and pulsed to cover herself for the moment. Her gaze flashed around as she processed everything around her, trying to get a good read on the environment and what she could even do in this situation where even the earth seemed to be her assailant.
With a flash of her body, she twisted around to throw up a small shield to deflect the incoming balas. She took gentle breaths as she looked around, for something, some weakness... Wait, the flesh was only forming from the ground up. It was just like that at the house, too - it grew like a mold. There was two things she needed to try, but first was to get herself out of this spot. It would be hard to challenge her if she didn't put up much of a struggle, right?
Hoping her theory was correct, she'd take a deep breath, not even acknowledging Santa's comment as a pair of colorful wings with mesmerizing patterns burst from her back, appearing more like a burst of fantasy than actual comprehensive wings. Her feet not only ripped from the ground attempting to gnaw on her, but pushed her upwards into the sky with great speed, stopping abruptly in the air hanging a while above the garden, trying to expel the burning liquid from her body, but she still felt stinging on her flesh.
The look on her face wasn't of a friendly face, but rather a focused woman who was trying not to get killed. She hung mid-air for a mere moment to see if anything around her started growing flesh, and if not, she'd set into motion the next idea - If these were parts of her that she could feel, then... What happened if she attacked it directly?
Suddenly, a rod would form in one of her hands - her Atma Vatou - and with a generous sway of the tip, an encircling of orbs would form, before Caly would swing the staff, shooting the balls of energy down. They all would create modest-sized explosions upon impacting the ground, particularly aiming at the archers, but ensuring they hit the fleshy earth.

Santa smiled when she saw the girl suddenly seeming to panic before SHOOTING up into the sky after creating those big bursty wings! And in that moment, as the wings ripped from her back, Santa's eyes widened as she saw some of those burns from her stomach acid, and a GRIN spread across her face with sheer glee. Instantly peeled her Zanpaku'to from her waist and held it up into the air. With a sudden RUSH of spiritual energy that blade CRUMPLED! Crushing in on itself with a loud screeching noise as Santa crooned out. "Garra en la tierra~"
In the very next instant her form rippled, sas if peeling away in a mirage, and a BURST of spiritual energy formed around her like a thing armor. It wasn't an outward explosion, it was just a coccoon which peeled away and showed off that transformed body. Her antlers having grown, bony armor forming along her upper body, and long furry deerlike legs growing in her lower body as well as a thin line of bony bone fragments grow up along her spine and then up into her antlers, dangling from the horns like little decorations. And then, EVERYTHING would suddenly surge. A GUSH of flesh and bones and viscera suddenly was growing EVERYWHERE. On EVERY surface, and from up in the Air? Caly would be able to SEE the range.
Everything within 300 meters suddenly was growing her garden, And Caly would see the sheer difference. The CLICK of bones being peeled into existence. Bodies peeling out of the ground with rifles made of bone! pointing up at Caly before firing! Suddenly peppering the woman with shards of bone primed with sulfur in a makeshift gunpowder! Almost a dozen of these simple musket-like rifles were firing on her. Attempting to distract her from the flesh growing over her burns, thick meaty glands that would rapidly expand, filling with phosphorous and magnesium. In the event that Caly disturbed them, they would simply burst, react with the air, and smother her in a blanket of burning metal that would cling to her body.
It was an EGREGIOUS escalation. But it was incredibly clear that Santa was getting VERY carried away with this little spar of theirs. That sheer bloodlust on Santa's face perhaps tipping Caly off just how into this fight she was, having been spurred on by the injuries she'd managed to land on the woman, and now VERY eager to make more! After all, surely Caly could take them right? And even as those spheres suddenly rained down if Calypso followed through with her attack, it WOULD indeed be very effective in blowing big holes in Santa's garden, but ones that almost immediately began to refill with the growing mass.

Alright, first theory was correct - she couldn't grow that stuff from the air. Unfortunately the nutty blonde took 'training' the wrong way and released, Caly barely batting an eye at the increase of pressure in the area as she was trying to plot out her next move with this new information. As long as she stayed in the air, Santa would be forced to reach for her. Even though this was complete overkill, she didn't mind rocking along with her - nobody was around for miles.
The attempt at a distraction was by no means an issue, as her body was already going off about the foreign structures taking place on her and making work of it as she dodged those sulfuric shots, though some excess bubbled and burned her flesh at points. Eyes emerged on her body as it twisted and stretched to quickly eject the infected chunks. Sure, her arms were thinned up and a few other places would be misshapen, but the pain wouldn't stop her from continuing. The balls of energy struck the fleshy ground with little hesitation after being loosed by their master, bursting holes into her garden left and right as Caly readied her next attack.
The eyes on her body would suddenly stiffen, the pupils themselves shifting and changing into small, fanged mouths as Caly made a sudden, quick descent towards Santa, and the moment she stabbed her feet into the fleshy floor, her mouth opened wide, and thus an intense shriek could be heard, seconds before a boom of energy would shake the immediate area, as if a bomb had gone off. If Santa did not move away fast enough, of course she would be caught up in this sudden blast, flung a ways away with burning as a ringing sound would start in her ears.

Eyes darted, barely even able to keep up with Caly, though if Caly was REALY speeding she would likely lose track of her entirely! Or she would have. But Caly had been hit and splashed with the shots of bone and sulfur, and the instant she received those burns, hands grew out of the wounds, sudden explosions of growth as half-formed hands and teeth would claw and bite into the eyes that were forming over Caly's body, hoping to cause additional wounds which would also serve as bases for growth.
So even if Santa couldn't follow Caly's movements with her eyes or other senses, she could still sense where she was through her garden, not that it helped. When Caly suddenly SPED down to her, and screamed, Santa was reeled, her own ears blown out as she was sent flying! Unable to sense with her own body, she simply allowed her body to go limp as she flew through the air, seeming to simply flop, shooting through her own garden, masses of hands catching her, several being ripped clean through by the force before she finally slowed and stopped.
And in that moment, one of the growths from Caly's wounds would form a hand, one that pointed toward the woman's chest as a brilliant yellow energy VREEEEEEN'd into existence, powering up a cero to fire at the woman. Though Caly would notice that the rest of the garden changed it's behavior. Instead of prepping, creating more guns, it simply began growing random viscera and clones of Santa's body. Those with bone rifles continuing to fire at Caly, but there was a much more .....simplemindedness to them. As if Santa herself was no longer directing them and they were simply acting off impulse.
Either way, Santa herself could cough, standing up. Her inner ears, eardrums, and the other soft tissue damage already repairing as she did. Though she did seem to have been knocked out of that murderous trance, grunting softly as she kept her eyes closed, using her garden to keep track of the fight as she recovered from the attack.

Another theory put into play - she watched as Santa flew through the air, and noticed the disruption of the garden. She was keeping herself mobile to an extent, rushing after Santa, however she took a moment to pause as she saw the bright yellow sheen of energy right below her vision - a hand was firing a cero at her. She acted quickly, tearing the hand out of her, noticing it was originating from one of her wounds, which were pushing to close quickly. She grunted, forming scales all over her body to protect herself from any future burns, her body actively combating any new growths as she tried to heal the wounds.
She felt the exertion, even a little thrill? As her mind went at a million miles per hour, thinking, ticking, going. Santa was a real challenge for her alright, one she wanted to surmount to some extent..!
Even as guns shot at her, even if the garden may fling at her, she dodged and whipped to and fro until she flew at Santa, as if she were shot out of a cannon, smiling wide as her hands extended out and snatched her by the shoulders, yanking her off into the air with her if fully successful.
"Hey San-san! Hope you liked flying with me the first time, because this time's a lot ROUGHER~!"
Caly looked a little too thrilled with the fighting at this point at this point - the sensation of feeling like she was going to die took an almost oddly.. Euphoric turn for the Danava, her heart pounding, her blood rushing as the two would climb higher and higher into the sky if she managed to grab her.

Santa's eyes widened, surprise showing on her face when Caly suddenly ripped that hand off, but that didn't stop it from twisting, breaking it's wrist to fire the cero at her. Though that would do nothing to stop Caly from firing herself like a bullet toward Santa, grabbing onto her and making her eyes widen for just a moment before she grinned. She formed a spiritual platform on her hand, and promptly her garden grew, a snake of blades slithering out. Not to attack Caly, but to wrap around Santa's own neck and then rip down her back. The regeneration began immediately, her wound spilling open as wings burst from her back as they regenerated aggressively. Just like Arianne had taught her~
"That's my secret Caly. I LIKE it Rough." She grinned before that snake suddenly BLOATED, forming a big, fleshy gland filling up with bile before bursting, gushing gastric acid at the woman's face as Santa attempted to grab onto Caly's face and begin emptying Bala into it, ignoring the acid trying to eat it's way into her hand, as it simply regenerated faster than it could burn into her.

Caly held nice and tight to Santa as feelings of ecstasy filled her amidst the feeling of dying amidst the turbulent turn the fight had taken, however she came to a silent conclusion amidst the motions the two took to harm each other, until the point that snake took motion to bloat and puff. Caly closed her eyes for a moment, before relaxing, opening her hand in front of the nauseating form, creating a small shield to block the barrage of bala and acid coming for her face.
"Enough. We're done."
With that call, she'd carefully bring the two of them back down, "..We were getting a bit too carried away..."
She'd exhale softly, in the event Santa was still riled, she'd allow small moth-like forms to peel off her form and flutter around the two, the soft music their wings made encouraging a sense of calm and serenity as they'd touch the ground,
"..Ah, sheesh, wow... You really pack a punch. Never seen anyone fight quite like you."

Santa was still amped up! Even when Caly raised that shield, she would find that almost instantly, a hand was growing out of the back of it, aiming at her face as the energy faded from her own hand, transferring to the one now growing out past the Shield to aim for the woman's face. But those words caused Santa to halt. Her brows raising slightly when she mentioned getting too carried away, and Santa suddenly had a flood of memories, times when she had gotten a bit....out of hand. Her breathing slowed and she allowed that hand growing out of Caly's shield to simply close up, relaxing a little as she allowed those wings she'd grown out of her back to fold against her spine, huffing just a little as the Desperation died down and she began to feel the ammount of energy she'd used up with all of those ceros and balas.
She smiled, chuckling a little and grinning from ear to ear. "WHEW! That was something!" She murmured, and her released form suddenly faded, leaving Santa in Caly's arms as the garden around them began to simply fade into dust. Leaving Santa to simply cling to the flying woman and put on a pleased smiled. "How did I do?!" She asked, eyes wide with excitement, still a little buzzed from adrenaline. Of course she had HEARD Caly admiring her packing a punch, and she was very pleased, but she wanted more ......specific praise and feedback. True, her fighting style was relentless, but this time around, she'd attempted to be a bit more....forward thinking than she usually was.

"Amazingly. You really kept me runnin' with all that flesh morphing."
She felt Santa's weight in her arms, keeping focused as the two sank to the ground, her feet soon touching the dusting grass, holding her close,
"Man, it takes a lot of creativity to know how to form even a bit of that. Shaping bodies isn't all raw strength, it takes some..."
She'd really think about it for a moment - Santa? Capable of such unique usage of her abilities? She was actually quite smart when it came to fighting... Something she honestly didn't expect of the Arrancar, given how she usually was. It made her quiet and thoughtful for a few moments,
"..Real thought.. To do that."
She'd carefully set Santa down, and smiled, putting that thought to the back of her mind. It was strange, but not what they should be focusing on right now,
"Keep learning how to use your body like that, seriously. You could catch anyone off guard with that amount of creativity," She'd smile widely, "I bet you're gonna get even better as you practice it!"
Urgh.. Maybe I should practice my own more? But... Does my body even like fighting?
Her smile dimmed, somewhat, "..Haha, i'm a bit jealous myself."
