"Did you practice that in the mirror for maximum creep factor?" Lethe would ask after leaving the cafe and looking around. This one was a bust, but there was always more places to go to, more places to be...giving up was for people who gave up.
"Putting adult entertainment right after saying I am a pretty girl certainly doesn't lend much to your credit. But the money is secondary, if I need to i can just beat some bad guy up and steal his wallet. Though I guess adults would probably know a lot and would be happy to share it after being entertained" Lethe commented. Plus, Kegare didn't seem all that comfortable here, so good chance she was from elsewhere. Lethe was wondering how she was going to get elsewhere to carry on the search, and here was an optimal solution.
"So, I shall accept. Lead on~"

Kegare raised a brow slightly at that. Was this girl seriously calling her a creep when she offered her a job? "Maybe I should have been more specific: Number 1, No you are not going to be an entertainer. Even if you're pretty, you hardly have the demeanor or discipline for it I can tell that much right now. I don't need to lose a customer because you went and called him a creep. Only the ones who pay to be called that are called it. Number 2, I employ more than just entertainers. Cooks. Maids. People to run other facets of the organization. We do massages, tattoos, some of the girl sven have their own little shop going on that I manage for them. I also need caretakers, but well....I don't really think you're cut out for that. The short of it is that I have plenty of simple labor jobs to offer." She sighed.
Well any job working with customers was instantly out the window. This woman didn't seem to have much of a filter and was a little on the too-honest side. Truth be told, she already was having second thoughts. A girl like Lethe was liable to get into arguments with the other workers. Maybe some cleaning work? Something that kept her out of trouble. She'd have to think about this, clearly. And she might need some work. But well, she was probably going to be some work regardless.
"Also there's no need for you to jump on the wagon. All I'm doing is offering an alternative. You can still go around and look around. See if there are any other places around." She pointed out, holding out her hand, and then turning it. A card simply appearing out of her palm as she held it out to the woman. "This is where I'll be staying for the next few days. Think about it. You said yourself that it feels creepy. Always trust your gut. Think about it. Sleep on it. And if you think you can handle working for me, then come see me. If not, then good luck on your search girly." She pointed out before she would turn and start to walk off.
She was no stranger to this kind of thing, and the LAST thing she wanted was for the girl to feel like she was snatched up off the street when she was having a low. She'd give Lethe a bit of time so she could make her own decision.

"I hardly need to work somewhere people would need to be called a creep without prompting" Lethe replied with a surprisingly mature tone. Sparks of amber light flashed through her eyes for a moment at that retort.
She'd cross her arms at that, and seem to be channeling someone....else. Someone larger in presence. There was a tingle in the back of a person's mind that whispered something, to quiet to really understand, but certainly not a friendly sort of whisper.
"I don't mind working and I don't mind ensuring that men retain humanity, to avoid becoming beasts of pent up need and wrath. But I will not serve people that don't behave. I don't kick people I don't like, so they should also follow the rules. And if they break the rules first, then I am not being blamed for following suit and kicking them in the head"
She'd still speak with that beautiful voice, which was definitely at war with the whole presence she had putting out. But it seemed something she was serious about.

Kegare raised a brow at that and smiled. "Fair enough, if it's not your deal then that's fine by me." She noted, about to turn and leave when Lethe seemed to suddenly pivor, causing the woman fo knit her brows together as the woman did a 180 in behavior. Kegare honestly didn't know Lethe. If she did, she might have picked up on this strange transition. But as it were, she didn't know this woman, and the far more reasonable assumptiuon she got when Lethe suddenly became menacing, was that the other behavior was just an act, something shew pretended to be before letting it slip.
She raised both brows, parsing for several long moments before she spoke up.
She CONSIDERED the notion of explaining to the woman that that sort of entertainment was only a small portion of what her business entailed, and that there were plenty of jobs that had nothing to do with customers. But the sudden personality shift was.... a bit of a red flag. Not ONLY that, but the image of this ditzy girl in need of a job to keep herself out of trouble was....shattered. With that little shift, it now, at least to Kegare, became apparent that she only made herself out to seem helpless and in need of direction, when very clearly she did not. All in all, she was rapidly losing her reasoning for wanting to hire the woman in the first place.
But Kegare didn't get to where she was by not knowing how to land on her feat. She cleared her throat very lightly before she spoke. "An understandable reservation. The fact of the matter is that facet is by all means not everything we have to offer in my business. But you are right that it's a significant portion, and if association is grounds for incredulity, then you have every right to be leery." She smiled, and gave a polite bow. "IN any case, have a good day. I wish you luck in your job hunt."
