The Light Fades As The Sun Sets [Arcadia, Cyrus]

"Very well, if you accept my worship then I shall indulge you. Deprive me of my free will like the light of my world you are. Sway me from the name you gave me that day when you declared that I am Angra Mainyu."

Arcadia said her bit before she leaned in and pressed her lips to Cyrus' own, a little soft and gingerly. Not aggressive or even that passionate. It was an empty action, because it was nothing but that.

"I grow tired of this city. It bores me, Ninsianna is my only pleasure second to your own company. I implore you to take me back to America, accompany me and let me see something refreshing. What's the world as a Gods' playground if we cannot indulge in the joy of walking it in it?"

"Do not twist my words so as to make it sound as though I have taken your free will, Arcadia. This path is what you have chosen, and you could just as easily cease to worship me if you so wished it."

Cyrus did not react to the kiss from Arcadia, but she certainly could not say she had particularly enjoyed it. Frankly, the emptiness of the action was the only reason she had not considered it actively displeasing. She knew Arcadia had no such genuine feelings for her.

"A return to America? In time, Arcadia dear. There is still much work to be done, but I will accompany you when time permits."

"But I have. Worship is no small thing, it's a very important bond, Cyrus."

She stated it matter of factly, while pressing her forehead back up to the ebony woman's head and looking thoughtful about her words, considering them before she shook her head. A sigh of disappointment.

"Very well, though I will not uphold my agreement of assisting in your chrysalis in this environment that bores me. I did not specify where or when I would give you my aid."
