A letter was sent and mailed to the Mayor of Minatumi making sure she knew why he was coming. He was paying a visit to a few key people in his life. One was the man he studied medicine with, who quite frankly could teach him until the end of days. Takehiko found his conversation strict but otherwise pleasant. His emotional status was different from normal. The boy wore his Vice-Captain's badge on his shoulder, having his hair pulled back. He had a smile of peace about him.
He'd stopped by taking care to visit his mentor first, making sure that was done before going to so his big sister. He'd called her that since he met her, but if it made her uncomfortable he was fine stopping. Takehiko seemed far more relaxed now and generally at ease with things. He didn't come here for any reason but to update people. To let them know he was alright And life was good for what it was, having buried his Mother.
He always felt a sense of calm inside him, he'd been working on his powers slowly as a Vizard again. Trying to train and get better at wielding them, though it was more difficult still. He couldn't reach as much as he once could. As he arrived at the residence which Arianda had called home, he offered three generous knocks. Before sitting down and observing the city life. His lips upwards in a smile, one of being content and at peace inside. He didn't know what it came from, the turmoil with becoming a Vizard, and his mother's death. Those had been raw and painful moments for him. But now he felt renewed like a new lease on life had come. Ever since he got through mourning and seeing his mother he just felt different.
Time had many things happen in Minatumi Harbor, the allies of the Soul Society and Gotei resided here. Or at least he'd heard Ulv had been teaching at the Academy. So checking on Arianda made sense, as he looked down at his hand thinking on what happened more. He'd not heard his Zanpakuto's voice since that night. It had been a vacant place inside him now, no that wasn't right something new and unknown took residence in him. A gift from his mother perhaps, but he'd not know until some time later.
