» Appearance Description:

Mayuko Yami is an average height girl, not too tall and not too short. She has dark skin and her hair colour is white, well not completely white, more we-peep. There was something strange about her hair, was what people would say. It was almost unnatural as if something had tainted the roots, but she did not know why her hair became that colour. In her life before entering the Shinigami realm, many others had considered the colour of her distasteful and unpleasant, maybe it was due to jealousy, or maybe even hate, but besides the fact she still wore her hair down to her waist, allowing it to prove It's the purpose of elongating the range of her beauty, yet when her white locks shone in the night all her haters would whisper in aw, as it glittered and christened, every edge and curve shun as if the moon was crying over a goddess.

Mayuko Yami has always been a frail girl since birth, as a result, Mayuko wasn't a very strong child, her body was timider looking than what a normal child should look like. Her arms, neck and legs were pretty thin for a girl, her body was also very slender and almost ghost-like, but that only made her image as a goddess, bloom to it's fullest. Since birth her body was very weak, she was always susceptible to small colds, sometimes pacing her in bed for months until she could safely recover. It was kept a secret from most people in her life, but her back was covered in strange tattoo-like marks.

The marks panned against the edges of her back, and then made their way to the centre with sharp jagged lines, spiralling to the centre. As a child, the children caretakers would often tell her that it was a birthmark, but strangely it felt like something more. Deep down in the core's of her soul, she knew that it was something living, something that was a part of her, but at the same time, it was feeding on her, not physically, or mentally, but physiologically. This would affect her time by time and throughout her life as a future Shinigami.

In her life before becoming a Shinigami, Mayuko would try her best to cover up the marks, by wearing long dresses, or shirts. Her favourite dress being a large violet dress top, it was something simple yet pretty at the same time. Now As Shinigami, Mayuko often wears a normal Shinigami garb, she doesn't like wearing extra clothing underneath her garb, for she easily overheats, keeping her thin like image. Yet she does have a few small changes in her garb compared to other Shinigami, these are the dark purple streaks that line the edges of the shinigami pants and sleeves. Unlike the other Shinigami, she does not wear ordinary shoes, and instead use a pair of red flats, as it helps her to stay balanced, and move more efficiently.

At most times her long locks would cover the top half of her face, hiding away her eyes. This made it hard for people to tell what Mayuko was thinking, or how she was feeling. Because of this, her face was always found to be plain, and ordinary, but that was what she wanted. She didn't like it when the other kids and adults would stare into her eyes, simply because they would see it. The thing that lied dormant, deep within her soul, would show itself... even if only for a moment, and always, they would run away. In an attempt to stop others from wondering what was lying behind the locks of her hair, she would keep on a soft smile, a smile that showed everyone that she had nothing to hide. The smile was soft and kind, but... it was empty.

Although Mayuko's face was thin she still had a cute plush around the cheeks. Her skin was tender, but still a little pale in colour.

When Mayuko was found in the shinigami world, her condition had undergone a vast change. It had seemed that leaving her physical body behind, caused the spiritual pressure to release all at once, creating a body that was much healthier and stronger than the last one, but as a result, her appearance changed from a that of a 17-year-old to that of a 13-year-old girl. Her hair was mow black and had become much shorter, about shoulder length, her face much smaller and chubbier, with a total height of 65".

» Personality:

Mayuko is the kind of girl that flows with the way things present themselves before her. Mayuko favours the process of getting things done and doing it the right way. She works diligently and efficiently when it comes to writing, composing, or training. Solid progress is better than an unstable one, is what she would always say. This way of thinking, you could say came from her father to her, he was a solid leader and controller of his own life. As a result, Mayuko wanted to take life into her own hands. As a child, Mayuko never really had any control over her own situations, just because of the colour of her hair, or because she hid her eyes, she had experienced mental torment for years, before finding a new family. Mayuko works with the way things come before her, there should be no rush with success, flow with it.

As a human Mayuko came to dislike herself in general. Other than just her hair, or her eyes, she found fault in the way she looked. Mayuko was smart enough to know that she shouldn't blame herself for being born weak. it was just how life was, but she was still young, and at times she couldn't stop herself from thinking that maybe, just maybe if she was stronger, others would love her, and she would never have to face the risk of losing the one's she loves... but sadly, she never found that love from no one other than her parents. This was one of her biggest faults as she tended to have a knack for finding the beauty in everything else, but failed to find the beauty that lied within herself.

Due to her parent's deaths, Mayuko has grown to learn the importance of thought. As a child, she grew up to be very observant of her surroundings. She believed that your future is determined by your present actions, as a result, the way she spoke to others or the way she acted around them was always pre-determined. There was only one time that someone had noticed Mayuko's way of thinking, and at that moment they succumbed in fear when they realized that every single one of her actions, was for her future benefit. Her favourite way to describe this thought process was, "If you don't want to be behind, why not just be seven steps ahead.

Going through a life filled with pain and regrets Mayuko had learned to question everything. As anyone would know the world is a very scary place, but to Mayuko the world is but a box, a box that desires for everyone within its walls to play by its rules, and Mayuko detest being played with, as of she were a mere ant. As a result, she isn't bound by any religion and thinks of herself as a spiritualist, a person who believes in the greater force, but does not play by the ordinary rules that it has laid out upon this world. "Seriously the world can go F*** it's self!"

After becoming a shinigami, all the spiritual pressure that was collected within the seal in her body was released. At first, Mayuko thought that the only thing that had changed was her body, but no... the demon inside of her, had changed too. There was no telling what kind of change it had gone through, was it larger, smaller, or did it becomes more intelligent... no... it had gained consciousness, a separate consciousness that resided inside of Mayuko. This meant, that Her thoughts and emotions were no longer her own. Unlike before when it only desired to feast upon her it now sought something else, but what was it?

» Likes:

1. Sweet smells: Release a calming sensation on her mind, helping her to relieve her inner stress and worries.

2. Flowers: Flowers are very pretty to look they tend to calm her when she is feeling sad or angry. Her favourite type is Petunia.

3: Flower picking: Flower picking is one of Mayuko's favourite past times.

4. Solitude: Mayuko enjoys spending most of her time alone, it gives her time to think about her future or past actions.

5. Books: Books are Mayuko's favourite past time, her mother used to read to her all the time, was how she came to love reading. After the accident her only safe haven, was books, as a result, her knowledge is quite vast.

6. Writing Novels: Her knowledge of books has inspired her love for writing fiction.

7. Music: Another one of Mayuko's favourite pastimes. Her father would take her on short field trips, where they would visit all kinds of historical music sites in Japan, her favourite type being classical.

8. Stargazing: Helps her think about things from an outer-worldly perspective, she feels bubbly when thinks about how the world is actually a very small place.

9. Training: Mayuko feels that in order to grow, she must work past her physical and mental limits.

10. Composing: Music one of her loves, has inspired her to try composing, she has had over 12 different pieces of work since entering the soul society, one of her secret talents.

11. Pizza: Is actually one of her favourite foods, though it's hard to find something similar to it, while in the soul society.

12. Sparring: The only time when she is communicating with others is usually when she is sparring, but for at times she feels that the love for it, is not really her own.

13. Physical Labor: To keep her mind off of troubling matters, Mayuko would find herself doing some sort of physical activity to keep her mind busy.

14. Exploring: You can never really find me stuck in one place. She loves discovering the world and embracing it for what it is, hopefully, this helps her to embrace herself.

15. Art: Helps her to picture and discover what lies deep within the cores of her soul. It serves more of its the purpose an imagery guide, to her inner demons.

1. Loud People: Loud people are just very annoying to her.

2. Crowds: She tends to be nervous around new people and crowds, and tends to avoid them altogether.

3. Rainy days: Reminds her of the day that her parents past, overall they just make her very sad.

4. Coffee: To her coffee is very distasteful, she simply cannot handle the taste.

5. Garbage: She really dislikes the smell of garbage, especially when the smell is really strong.

6. Touchy People: She finds them quite annoying, simply she gets embarrassed when people hug her too much, knowing that she is not really 12.

7. Bullying: She dislikes, people who don' treat others with kindness.

8. Mirrors: Remind Mayuko of her past, and how she got her condition, with hair and the colour of her eyes.

9. Loud Noises: She avoids loud noises and people altogether and would prefer a quieter environment, where she can think alone.

10. Those who talk without Listening: These type of people who simply believe they have nothing left to learn, simply maker her angry.

11. Strong smells: Make her very dizzy, she simply cannot handle them to well, most encounters resulting in her losing consciousness for brief moments.

12. Reflections: The reflection of her eyes simply scare her. By simply looking at them in the mirror she would see short visions of the thing inside her, with large eyes, and blood dripping from the edges of its lips, waiting for her... in silence.

13. Pointless Fighting: Is not her cup of tea, she enjoys sparring almost to the point of madness, but fighting when both sides are sure to lose is not fun or beneficial.

14. Taking Life: This is absolutely upsetting Mayuko to the highest degree, she takes the action of, taking life very seriously, "If one has the guts to take the life of someone innocent than one should be prepared to lose their life, just the same!"

15: Being called a monster: Being called a monster as a child was one of the most tragic moments of her life. Mayuko cannot remember clearly, but after losing her parents she was very unstable, she found that being called "monster" as a shinigami made something crawl and turn from within her. If she heard it again she is not sure what kind of things she would do.



» History:

As if fate wanted to curse her, Mayuko was born from the bloodline of Grand Dota, an ancient ancestor that was said to be a very powerful spiritualist, that gained their power from mixing spiritual and demonic arts together, and as a result, a curse was placed on all of her future descendants.

It was said, that alongside her trusted guide, she would use her powers to manipulate the environment and surrounding area, causing miracles, or destruction in her wake. Yet during the peak of her rule, she vanished out of sight, with no record of where she had gone, or if she had passed away(It's uncertain of what the true gender of the ancestor was). Sadly this was unknown for most of Mayuko's life.

Mayuko was an adopted child, her foster parents made life easier for her because they accepted her and loved her for who she was, but their time together would soon come to an end.

At the age of six, Mayuko experienced a shocking vehicle accident that took the lives of her foster parents. The sadness and grief that she felt, was so deep that it forced her red slit eyes to manifest(characteristics from her bloodline), revealing itself for the first time. Along with the manifestation of her characteristics would be the first time that her spiritual powers would be released, causing her body also brake down, as it was too much for her own body to handle... Mayuko went into shock.

Consumed by grief, she unconsciously went into a mental breakdown of the sort and began attacking the doctors. Although it didn't take much for them to pin her down and give her some anaesthetics. It helped to calm her down, but the stress from the feedback of the forced manifestation turned her hair from the beautiful black it was, into a clear tinted white.

As a result of the forced manifestation of these characteristics, Mayuko's mind and consciousness had somewhat become broken. After several months of observation, specialist's were able to determine that due to the intense stress from the accident, a large amount of cortisol was released into her brain resulting in the psychological manifestation of an entity. It was rare, but sometimes Mayuko would be caught talking to someone called Ana.

The entity(Known as Ana) would only choose to manifest itself, in the form of a mask, whenever Mayuko lost control, in a battle. Although while she was human, it would manifest itself in the form of a black cloud(those who were spiritually sensitive would be the only ones capable of seeing this entity). This would be noticeable after Mayuko's eyes changed from their normal blue-violet to a crimson-red with black slit-pupils. Other than the mask, others would tend to notice, that when she was engrossed in a serious battle, her composure would change and become wilder, but her actions were not completely remorseless, but It was almost as if she was not herself. Aside from her normal and calm demeanour, her fighting style was almost monstrous, or bloodthirsty.

» Natural Abilities:

Coming to the Soul Society, Mayuko didn't really have a fighting technique of her own. As her body was, back when she was a human, it wasn't physically beneficial for her to learn self-defence, simply because her body was too weak for it to serve any actual purpose. Now as a shinigami it was more achievable since her body had become anew. It was stronger and more adaptable to reiatsu based techniques. With this new body, she was capable of learning a new fighting style.

The first fighting style Mayuko learned was basic self-defence. At first, it was very hard for her to adapt to the fighting style, simply because her new body, was a lot smaller than her previous one, Mayuko's body had a total height of 65". As a result, she was at a disadvantage when it came to learning the style, because of her height. it was often that her sparring partners would end up to be a lot taller than her, making it difficult to defend against attacks that came from above. As her body adjusted to the height difference, she began to increase the use of the technique with ease.

After getting better at basic self-defence Mayuko had developed a special defence technique that was abridged from the basic self-defence style, specifically for her size. It helped that Mayuko's body was small and light because the technique had her swaying her body away from the movements of her opponents. With this technique, she could learn to interpret her opponent's attacks and cover her blind spots. A simpler way to define the fighting style was that it focused on bringing her opponents towards her, and not pushing them away from her body. This way she could determine how the fight would go, by predicting her opponent's moves and blocking them at the perfect time. Mayuko called this technique Hebi-Tai(Snake Body). It wouldn't be until after mastering the technique, that she would invent the mastered version of this technique, which would be called, Mirai-Hontai(Mirror Body), a near to perfect defence.

Hebi-Tai would often be used against a basic or average opponent. Mayuko found that when facing opponents of the same level or below, it was easier to predict their movements. As they often repeated the same technique patterns and strikes. Though when it came to opponents that were stronger than her, Mayuko found it a bit more difficult to predict their movements, this was simply because she lacked the experience of sparring with an opponent or opponents of a higher calibre. One of the weaknesses of this technique is that it's a defence based fighting style. It does not really aid the user in offensive combat. If the Mayuko wanted to have a stronger offence she would have to learn, new fighting styles, other than just defence.

Mayuko had to keep in mind, that not just any offensive fighting style would work for her. As a result, she had to pick a fighting style that valued, both defence and offence, given her particular situation. After 6 months of researching and focusing on various fighting styles, Mayuko grew to favour a fighting style that was actually a combination of 2 different fighting styles. This fighting style was called Jujutsu, a style that was both a mixture of Aikido which focused on fluid motion, and body locks, and the other style, Judo, which focused on pinning or throwing the opponent. Obviously there were some complications that came with this technique. Although Mayuko did have the strength, she wasn't exactly tall enough to throw someone properly, making some parts of the technique faulty.

As a result of the weaknesses that came with the technique, Mayuko was limited in terms of offensive combat. During her training, this technique was mostly used against average opponents and relatively stronger ones. Although no matter what Mayuko tried, this technique could only be used for defence because of the limitations of her height. As a result, her overall battles would be focused on stamina. When using the technique, drawing the battle out became her number one goal. Mayuko became determined to make the technique work for her and started to research more on various techniques.

It took Mayuko a while to figure out, but after combining various techniques including, Hebi-Tai and Jujutsu, she was able to form a fighting style of her own. The technique received a lot of criticism and was judged by many of Mayuko's pears as the majority of them thought of it as a joke, or a Childs way of fighting, simply because the technique was ground-based. As a result, everyone underestimated its lethality. The fighting style utilized certain aspects of Mayuko's custom style, Hebi-Tai and other basic styles, to lure in the opponent towards her, and at the same time, it focused on deflecting any incoming attacks. The most lethal part of the technique came when the user applied their fluent form to draw in the opponent, and instead of defending at the perfect moment, the user actually strikes the most lethal point(s) on the opponent body. This part of the technique focused on overwhelming the opponent with power and speed, striking all their vital points and removing their mobility from their feet to above their neck. Mayuko saw this as the most efficient way for her to fight, but she decided to keep this part of the technique a secret. Mayuko Yami called this technique "Gouda Khan".

Training Regimen:

As the many teachers witnessed what had happened to Mayuko's body, they determined that she was too young and much too weak and small do begin any sort of training. This was one of the crappy things about being stuck in the body of a child. Though this wouldn't stop Mayuko from trying to become a shinigami, there had to be someone who was willing to accept her. With passion and hope, she went around to every squad asking if anyone was willing to train her, and as to be expected she wasn't immediately accepted, despite that she kept coming back every day of the week. Eventually, someone(Specifically from Squad 9) noticed her endless efforts and decided to train her.

As her training began, she was cautiously informed that there was a high chance that the training she would have to go through, to become a Shinigami could potential cripple her body, for life. She was given the choice to back out because she was still young, and her current body had a high chance of not being able to handle the stress from the training, but despite the potential consequences, Mayuko decided to go ahead with the training.

The training was called Genkai burēka other known as LIMIT BREAKER. The training was designed to train every part of the shinigami's body and enhance it, past its physical limits. If the training was successful, the shinigami would be able to do combat, at doubles times the strength of their previous stage. She was told that in order to become as strong as the other shinigami, her body would need to break past it's physical and reiastu limits. She would need to shatter the childish shell that was her body and become a vessel of latent potential.

In the 1st month of the training the shinigami would commit to a basic stamina and strength routine where, every day of the week, the shinigami were to run a distance of 5 km, and on the last day of the week, they were to run 10 km, making it a total distance of 40 km a week. When the 2nd month arrived Genkai bureka would begin. The goal of the training was to work your way through each of the Sereitai gates, with one gate being passed every 12 hours. It wouldn't be as simple as to just to jog or run your way through them, the shinigami would have to have a physical handicap while running through the Seireitai. The physical handicap would be 50-pound weights on at least four limbs of the shinigami's body(which would usually be the arms and legs). As the shinigami passed through the fourth gate of the Seireitai, the shinigami would then have to meditate for 6 hours straight. This was the process of refining their bodies shell, bringing it to the first peek of enlightenment, others know as Dai ichi keihatsu or 1st Enlightenment. At the end of the meditation, the shinigami would then find two 100 pound sacs(usually 200 lbs for shinigami 5ft - 6ft) and carry them up the Seireitai. Once reached the shinigami would remove all weights and make there way back to the first gate of the Seireitai. Finally, they would meditate for another 12 hours and complete their training.

As a result of the training, Mayuko's maximum physical capabilities had seemed to increase by tenfold. From the look of it, you could easily see that the exterior of her body had pretty much remained the same, but she was now physically capable of taking on at least 10 - 30 full-grown Shinigami by herself.

» Zanpakutō Name: (Seikatsu no Teika)

» Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:


Mayuko's Zanpakuto spirit is called Seikatsu no Teikai or Seika for short. Seikatsu is indeed a female. Her body type is very slender, with a height of 5"11", very much contributes to her ghostly image. She looks to be a very young lady, perhaps in her early 20's, but her true age is undetermined. Mayuko has no actual idea of what her true age may be, for she looks a lot wiser than what she seems. Sometimes Mayuko questions whether she was really Seikatsu's first master. The colour of her hair, along with her very own skin is a pale white. These two features is what labelled Seikatsu as a ghostly being, but she sees it differently as she is not one bound by mortal limitations. The ends of her locks are braided and kept in place by golden silk-like fabric. The fabric has a strange pattern where the inside of the exterior is black and the edges of the silk are covered in gold.

Seikatsu's hair is actually much longer than what it seems, with it actually being able to reach all the way down to her feet. In order to keep her hair still, Seikatsu wears a special ornamental hairpiece, or better known in her time as a Kanzashi. The hairpiece, takes the shape of a medium-sized fan, with a distinctive design, along the centre and exterior of its shape. Moving in a horizontal motion, the centre area of the fan is filled with a gold colour that stretches from the left side of the fan and ends on the right side. While the exterior parts of the fan, move in the same direction, but this time, it is coloured in black.

Seikatsu's clothing follows a similar pattern, as her hair ornaments and silks. The kimono is carefully fitted, to compliment the slenderness of her body. The Kimono has a specific design that moves across the back of Seikatsu's body, with trails of various symbols, eventually ending down her arms. A Majority of the Kimino is black and grey, while the lining on her back is gold and takes the shape of scales, with its tail mapping the back of her legs and lining the front of her arms.

Seikatsu's eyes have a bright gold hue. The presence that one feels after looking into her eyes is almost threatening and demanding of self-respect. In the night her eyes would resemble that of two golden pearls, and like a warm light, those pearls made one feel as though they would kill, in order to keep it for themselves, but that feeling was soon followed by a consuming fear, and without a word, it would tell them, "swear to me absolute obedience" or suffer certain death.)

» Zanpakutō Spirit Personality: (Seikatsu wasn't one to be outgoing, as she was more of an observer. Like Mayu, Saikatsu was more of a quiet type, but her knowledge was far beyond that of any person or shinigami she knew. Though if there had to be any aspect that Mayuko might have disliked, it was that Saiketsu was a bit cocky. Always telling Mayuko that there's no need to fight with someone that is below you, but Mayuko didn't have the same thoughts. Mayuko would laugh, thinking that Saiketsu must off been some sort of Royal or something. Overall Saiketsu is a very kind Zanpkuto, believing that anyone and everything holds beauty. She also takes on the role of a guide for Mayuko, when she needs to improve in certain areas. Saikatsu thinks of herself as a wise and humble teacher, but for Mayuko, at times, she acts like a mother.

» Inner World:


In a world where the sky's stands above the sun, a world where the centre of the universe is not the apex, but just the very beginning of it. This world, there can only be one God. If one could imagine seeing, an eye within an eye, then would they be able to see the possibility of an earth, within an earth, well... that is this place. Within the walls of this inner world, lies an infinite sky, at the centre of its core, is The Daburu Sekai. The Daburu is actually the source of Mayuko's power. The secret function of the Daiburu is that it absorbs large amounts of Reiatsu and compresses it within Mayuko's inner world, creating the infinite sky which bounds the walls of her Reiatsu pool, it also releases the compressed Reaitsu periodically, so that her body does not break down from the pressure. The Dabura Sekai is not only a reserve for her Reiatsu, but is actually a seal that stops Mayuko's life force from being fed on by "Mugen no Ana". It is very hard to tell where Ana is within this world as Seikatsu is the current ruler, but sometimes Mayuko feels that somewhere deep within her world, Seikatsu and Ana are constantly fighting for the seat of God.

» Sealed Zanpakutō Appearance:


Seikatsu in her sealed state looks like a Regular Katana. First of all, although this is very much against her personality, Seikatsu doesn't stand out much when she is in her sealed form. Simply because unlike most Zanpakuto who have a special a symbol or marking, Seikatsu has nothing of the sort. When it comes to the Katana guard that holds Seikatsu's bade part, it's a completely different case. Unlike the blade part of Seikatsu, Seikatsu's guard seems to be much more defined. When observing Seikatsu from an outside perspective, most would determine, that there was nothing special about Seikatsu, their speculations being based on the simplicity of course, but when being observed, from the wise eyes of the Seireitai, you would be able to determine the truth, that is... Seikatsu's simple design is what makes the Zanpakutou so incredibly terrifying.

The blade part of Seikatsu is rather simple, it's hilt is also built similarly to most other Zanpakuto. The blade part of Seikatsu contains a slightly different tone, in iron formation, as a result, the outer layer of the blade is slightly brighter than the inner layer, being able to reflect the visuals of someone's face, almost perfectly. The hilt also maintains the standard build, that is common among most Zanpakutou, as a result, the leather straps, around the grip of the Zanpkutou, are black and grey. The Zanpakutou's sealed body, as a whole, is actually quite light. This serves as a plus for Mayuko, as it's lightness makes the Zanpakuto easier for Mayuko to wield. The guard is actually quite light as well, which allows Mayuko to use it as another weapon when it comes to performing extra strikes.

Now the guard part of Seikatsu is actually built quite differently from other Zanpakutou. The guard part of Seikatsu seems to be made from a special type of skin or shell, and also has two layers for the entire body. The outer layer looks to be almost woodlike, with a smooth outer face. The colours on the outer layer are not quite black but come in a mixture of brown and gold, which gave the guard a slight crystal appearance. The inner layer was mostly hidden and could only be seen from the inner grooves, that happen to trace along the surface of the guard, in a spiralling path. The ends of the spiral took the shape of a dragons face, it's eyes black and empty.

Seikatsu's sealed form only has on special characteristic, and it is only seen when the guard is placed over the blade part of the Zanpakutou. When covered, a green light would begin to illuminate from within Seikatsu's guard. First, the light would travel throughout the inner grooves and would begin to pulsate. As the light travelled along the tip of the blade, it would eventually find it's way to the end of the guard, where the dragon heads were. The eyes of the dragon heads would then illuminate as a gold light, revealing the presence of Seikatsu. This pattern would repeat itself as long as the guard was covering over the blade.)

» Zanpakutô Powers:

The Zanapkutou's power as a whole consist of the complete manipulation of reiatsu in a given area. The range of the Zanpakutou's ability to manipulate reiatsu is sealed by its various forms, Shikai and Bankai. Whenever Mayuko activates the Skikai or Bankai forms her hair tends to change back to their previous colour... must be a side effect of the seals.

Seikatsu no Teika absorbs Reiatsu from the surrounding environment and converts it into a power source for the Zanpakutou wielder. The reiatsu in the surrounding area is connected to the user through the Zanpakutou, so as long as the Zanapkutou is in the user's hand, she or he, has absolute control. Seikatsu no Teika, allows the Zanpakuto wielder to manipulate the absorbed Reiatsu as he or she sees fits.



In this, the sealed Zanpakutou is more focused on gathering reiatsu. As a result, it has some passive effects implied in a given area.

» Tamashī no kumo(Soul Cloud):

The inner seal with Mayuko has endowed the Zanpakutou with a special passive ability called Tamashi no Kumo. Tamashi no Kumo releases an invisible cloud that actually dampens the effect of Reiatsu based attacks or techniques by 10%, within a 100-300 meter radius.

This is due to Seikatsu eating up the reishi in the given area. This ability has one weakness and that is, it can be faulted by the quinces reishi manipulation. This ability only activates when the sheath of the Zanpakutou has been removed. Once the sheath is on again, the effect is no more.

For every Sub-tier her opponent is below her, they would require an increased skill mastery in their respective reishi manipulation skill (Reishi Manipulation for Quincies, Kido for Shinigami, Ect) Of one from a base of adept to see a reduction in this ability. If this ability is utilized towards an individual with Master in their respective reishi manipulation skill, the effectiveness is halved. At grandmaster, an individual is capable of negating the fields effects after being in it for three posts. If an opponent is two major tiers below her, double the dampening effects for this field. "

» Souruītā(Soul Eater):

The sealed Zanapakutou has another ability called Souruītā. If Mayuko's sealed Zanpakuto does ever become unsheathed there is an incredibly high chance that her opponent could lose their life. Not only because of Mayuko's technique but because of this ability. Souruītā absorbs Reiatsu from the surrounding environment at an alarming rate, so much that if it is, wielded by another, or so much as strikes another opponent, the Zanpakuto will literally drain over 25% of their total Reiatsu pool. Souruita can also be used to intercept reiatsu attacks, nullifying them with a bare minimum of 4 strikes. There is a lasting effect that comes after being struck by the Zanapkuto directly, and that is after they have no reiatsu remaining it will begin to immediately drain their 25% of their Stamina with each direct strike. This pretty much means that every cut and every wound the opponent receives is lethal. Although this technique can only be used 2 times per post.

While Souruita is capable of draining energy from the environment and from direct strikes, her body and zanpakuto can only hold so much energy before they reach their maximum capacity. At her current tier, she can store (insert percentage here) of the energy she drains from her opponent. Once she hits this capacity she is unable to use this aspect of the ability for the rest of the thread.

» Tamashi no me(Soul Eyes):

Reiatsu runs through the very binds of the world itself. As the Zanpakutou has a very strong connection to the reiatsu running through the planet, it has given the user certain abilities, that make it easier for them to understand the way Reiatsu flows throughout the earth that they stand upon. The way it secrets itself, within the molecules of the air that we breathe, the way it gives life to the smallest of creatures.

Without understanding these things, the user cannot begin to understand, the true power of this Zanapkutou.

Therefore Seikatsu has blessed them with Tamashi-No-Me. These eyes are sought by the demons and gods of the infinite centuries, as they bless the bearer with the ability to see the flow of reiatsu and secrets of the world itself. As a result, these eyes grant the user a 25% boost in Accuracy and Speed, although it can only be used once every other post and cannot be activated consecutively.

» Shikai Release Actions:

Mayuko places the back end of the Zanpakuto against the skin of her palm. The blade of Zanpakuto glows a bright red before bursting into a green sparkling light.

Mayuko closes her eyes to focus her breathing patterns. She starts an inhaling motion as if to breathe in the sparkling light into her body.

Green veins pulsate along her skin as the Highly condensed reiatsu is absorbed.

Mayuko opens her eyes revealing her red slit eyes, part of her inner power has been released… Seikatsu no Teika!

» Shikai Appearance:


Seikatsu, when released in her Shikai form, tends to warp completely from its sealed Zanapkuto state, and takes on a much smaller and simpler form. In her released form, Seikatsu takes the shape of a single 12 inch Dagger. When examining the Shikai from an outside perspective, Seikatsu's released form or Shikai can be greatly overestimated. This is due to the simplicity of it's shape and size of the Zanapkutou. Although it's simplicity actually proves itself as a strong point when it comes to drawing Mayuko's opponents closer to her body.

» Shikai Abilities:

» Gengakki no sekai(Stringed World):
The strings of reiatsu run through everything, everything that moves, everything that breathes, is all connected by reiatsu. Seikatsu acts as a key to controlling the very reiatsu that runs through us all. As a result, the reiatsu in the surrounding area of 400-500 meters, can also be manipulated as an extension of the user's body, due to their Zanapkutous deep connection with it.

The Reiatsu can be manipulated to take on various forms of energy or shapes, making it the best tool for the user. This ability is called, Gengakki no Sekai. Sustaining the reiatsu as a form of energy or shape is paid in Reiatsu pool, it requires more focus and energy, the larger the shape is, while smaller shapes are easier to control. Gengakki No Sekai and Tamashi No Manto can not be used at the same time.

» Tamashī no manto(Soul Cloak):

One of the most powerful abilities of Seikatsu's Shikai is Tamashī no manto(Soul Cloak). With this ability, all the reiatsu from within a, 400-500 meter distance is absorbed into the Dabura Sekai. The already present slits in Mayuko's eyes, enlargen as veins pulsate along the surface of her skin. Her canines enlargen as the beat of her heart increases from the pressure. The Reiatsu condenses almost immediately creating an explosion of bursting wind.

Without warning the condensed reiatsu bursts out from the center of Mayuko's chest, and transforms into a sort of exoskeleton. As the reiatsu is continuously being absorbed from the outside and fed into the Dabura Sekai. The Dabura Sekai reinforces the cloak five times fold, giving the user 50% protection from reiatsu based attacks, and 25% protection from normal ones. As a result of the condensed reiatsu circulating, within and outside the user's body, it has somewhat become energized by the reiatsu, granting them enhanced power, speed, stamina and accuracy. (25% boost) Tamashi No Manto and Gengakki No Sekai, can not be used at the same time. Sustaining the coaks form burns 10% of the user's reiatsu pool per post. The user must have over 20% of their total reiatsu pool, to sustain the cloak. For Mayuko, the reiatsu cloak takes the shape of her inner demon. Once deactivated the user must wait for a total of two posts to use this technique again.

» Soul Extension:

A sub ability of Tamashi No Manto where a total area of 100-200 meters can be manipulated as an extension of the cloak. The user may use this reach out across farther distances, close distances, ext...

» 1ST GATE RELEASE(Transformation):

The training that was meant to refine the condensed reiatsu within Mayuko’s body plays a huge role in this technique. Thanks to the Soul king for sealing Mayuko’s reiatsu under the two gates, her small body has refined the condensed reiatsu to the point that even if some was released, it could wipe out a fraction of the entire seritai. This first technique is so dangerous that it suggested that her allies distance themselves from around 600 -800 meters as being near the 800-meter mark could tear them to shreds...and that would not be pretty.

The seals were built to suppress the Daiburu under the gates. There is one seal on each glove. On both the wrist of the glove lies a pin. Mayuko places her right hand on the left pin and yanks it out.

All at once half of the reiatsu that was being constantly condensed within the Daiburu is released, instantly causing a massive thick wave of reiatsu to be released into the surrounding area. This in itself is its own attack as anything within 300 meters will instantly vanish from sight, anything over will end being fatally wounded. This blast reaches out for a total of 800 meters before instantly snapping back to the epicenter of its origin. A large golden light can be seen shooting up into the sky, as the condensed reiatsu smashes together at the epicentre.

As the light fades a being around 5”8" can be seen, wearing a long black and gold shroud. A faint glow can be seen illuminating her vary skin and clothes. Her violet eyes, now red, with slit irises. Mayuko has seemed to grow in height and the transformation has seemed to given her access to new power. Sustaining the Transformation burns 20% of the user's reiatsu pool per post. The user must have over 30% of their total reatsu pool, to sustain the form. (This transformation multiplies Mayuko's total power by 2)


» 1ST GATE RELEASE ABILITIES:

» Tamashī no manto - FULL BLOOM (Soul Cloak - FULL BLOOM):

-A variation of the same technique but 30% stronger... Once deactivated the user must wait for a total of three posts to use this technique again.

With Tamashi No Manto - FULL BLOOM, all the reiatsu from within a, 600-800 meter distance is absorbed into the Dabura Sekai, condensing the reiatsu even further. The already condensed reiatsu causes the present changes in the cloak to bring out a closer manifestation of Mayuko's inner demon.

The exoskeleton grows to be apart of Mayuko's body as if it were her very flesh and bones. As the reiatsu is continuously being absorbed from the outside and fed into the Dabura Sekai. The Dabura Sekai reinforces the cloak ten times fold, giving the user 80% protection from reiatsu based attacks, and 55% protection from normal ones. As a result of the condensed reiatsu circulating, within and outside the user's body, it has somewhat become energized by the reiatsu, granting them enhanced power, speed, stamina, and accuracy. (55% boost) Sustaining the cloak's form burns 15% of the user's reiatsu pool per post. The user must have over 25% of their total reiatsu pool, to sustain the cloak. Once deactivated the user must wait for a total of three posts to use this technique again.

» Shisha no sekai(Dead World):

Reiatsu has always had a root, and that root is the source of everyone's power... so what would happen, if one were to remove that root, well... there would be no power... but the root of Reiatsu, cannot be cut down by just any ordinary blade, Seikatsu is a special blade, that when only in its Bankai form may it be able to completely cut down the root of someone's reiatsu... making them completely dead to the energy of the world, the very thing we call Reiatsu.

This is why Seikatsu is feared amongst the many demons and gods of its time. Because they cannot face a being that is able to take away there very power. This fatal move is called, Shisha no me. The user must first identify the opponent's reiatsu root with Tamashi no me. Once this has been achieved, the user may use this technique to strike the opponent's Soul Root, taking away their ability to manipulate Reiatsu for 2 posts. It takes an additional post for their reiatsu to completely restore as their reiatsu based attacks will be reduced by 50%. This technique can only be activated once every 2 posts. The soul root must be identified, and Tamashi no me(Soul Eyes), must be activated to use this technique.


» 2ND GATE RELEASE(Transformation):

(ABILITIES CAN ONLY BE ACTIVE DURING 2ND GATE RELEASE)

Mayuko places her left hand on the right pin and yanks it out.

All at once, the other half of the reiatsu that was being constantly condensed within the Daiburu is released, but this time, a silent ringing can be heard echoing throughout the vicinity. The reiatsu within Mayuko's body begins to circle around in waves, filling every inch of her body. The reiatsu begins to flow out, covering Mayuko's body, in wet paint of golden reiatsu.

As the paint begins to peel off, a 6” figure can be seen, wearing a long black and gold shroud. A glow can be seen, this time illuminating more brilliantly across her skin and clothes. Her eyes red, with the slit irises being more sharpened. Mayuko has seemed to again grow in height and the transformation has seemed to given her access to newer power. Sustaining the Transformation burns 25% of the user's reiatsu pool per post. The user must have over 35% of their total reiatsu pool, to sustain this form. (This transformation multiplies Mayuko's total power by 4.)

2ND GATE RELEASE ABILITIES:

» Shisha no sekai - FULL BLOOM (Dead World - FULL BLOOM):

A variation of the same technique but 25% stronger... and has a limit of 2 uses a post, can't be activated for three posts after usage.

Shisha No Sekai - FULL BLOOM, an even deadlier version than it's original. The user must first identify the opponent's reiatsu root with Tamashi no me - FULL BLOOM(Soul eyes - FULL BLOOM). Once this has been achieved, the user may use this technique to strike the opponent's Soul Root, taking away their ability to manipulate Reiatsu for 3 posts. It takes an additional post for their reiatsu to completely restore as their reiatsu based attacks will be reduced by 75%. This technique can only be activated once every 3 posts. The soul root must be identified, and Tamashi no me - FULL BLOOM(Soul Eyes - FULL BLOOM), must be activated to use this technique.

» Absolute Controle:

When this ability is activated the opponent's body is no longer their own. The reiatsu that moves through the body becomes, a hindrance to them as it becomes strung to the will of the user's hands. As a result of the opponent's body and limbs, become like a puppet, the user is free to break or destroy them as they see fit, as long as reiatsu is running through their body. The user may only commit a single action.

This ability can only be activated when the 2ND Gate is released. This ability can only be activated after 4 posts of pure physical contact with the opponent, this is needed for the user to understand the way their reiatsu works. This ability is only a one time use.



» Inner Hollow Name: (Mugen No Ana)

» Inner Hollow Description:


The name of this demonic entity is "Mugen no Ana". Ana, is Mayuko Yami's inner hollow spirit, the evil entity, that haunted her during her childhood. Just as her name describes, Ana is a boundless hole of darkness that knows, no limit. Though it's origin is unknown, with the help of the Seireitai, Mayuko was able to discover that Ana had been apart of her since the day she was born, well, more than being apart of her, it just acted as a leech, feeding and growing stronger at the price of Mayuko's life. This was probably the reason why Mayuko's body was so weak as a child.

The hollow spirit resembles that of a horned humanoid creature. Two black horns lie at the top of Ana's head, there weren't too long, but actually the perfect size. From a close look, you could see that the horns had a very strange composition, for the exterior of its shell, glittered and christened when came in contact with any sort of light. In-between her horns lied a small halo-like object, it was very faint, almost to the point of which one can mistake Ana for an angel, but she was nothing of the such. Mayuko could feel that there was something monstrous about Ana, that she was something that shouldn't even exist.

Ana's hair was very long, reaching down past her hips. The colour of her was actually split into two different sections, where the right side was black and the left side was white. The only real difference between Ana and Seika was their bodies. As you can see Ana isn't as slim or as tall as Seika, in fact, their body build is the exact opposite. Ana had a height of 5"9", and her body seemed to be a bit rounder and more developed.

Ana's clothing is somewhat goth-like, as it contains thrills and patterns throughout the design of the dress. The colour of the dress is the easiest thing to notice, as it follows a simple Gothic scheme of black and grey. The torso is coloured in a black and grey scheme with a simple pattern that is used commonly among butlers. Moving in a vertical direction, the exterior of the torso is coloured in black, while the centre is covered in grey. Placed along the centre of the chest and torso are golden buttons, which function the same way as a vest, keeping the vestment to)

» Inner Hollow Personality:

Mayuko fears Ana, to the point, that even now as a Shinigami, she continues to fear the darkness, she avoids any opportunity that will get her surrounded in pitch-black darkness, she fears that if she is left alone, it will consume her. As a result of Ana becoming a part Mayuko's consciousness, Mayuko has been able to gain some ground over the hollow, but as a result, she suffers from its dark influences and the loss of her mind's thoughts and actions.

» Inner Hollow Powers:

The secret behind the Daiburu Sekai, Is that it is not just storage for her vast amount of reiatsu, its primary function, is to work as a seal, that keeps Ana from growing to strong. It does this by binding her with the enormous weight of the reiatsu from the other side of the seal. Though if Ana no Mugen is not fed, the hunger will begin to affect Mayuko psychologically, as a result, a small amount of reiatsu is allowed to pass through so that Ana is fed, and Mayuko doesn't go mad.

If Ana power is released it will reckon the end of the balance that reiatsu brings to the world, as Mugen no Ana power lies in the complete nullification of reiatsu in a given area of 200-400 meters. This unique ability is called ”Demon Whole”, where all abilities or techniques powered by reiatsu become completely useless, as they are completely drained of any reiatsu whatsoever. This technique can last for a total of 3 posts. When the Vizard transformation is deactivated the user suffers from 75% drainage of their entire reiatsu pool.

This ability is said to be one of Mugen's strangest ones, as it isn't exactly clear on how she is able to achieve this, but if ever activated, it is known that the battle may already be over.

The ability must first be activated by making direct physical contact with the opponent for an entire post. This is necessary for Mugen to break down the fundamental levels of the opponent's reiatsu.

Once achieved the user may activate Immortal Life. Mayuko reaches out her in the direction of the opponent. The slits of the Vizard Mask glow a bright red as a dim green light begins to glimmer within Mayuko's stretched out a hand, in that instant, the reiatsu is torn out from the opponent body, and hastily flows into Mayuko's.

The green lights glimmer than begins to expand, causing the nearby view of anyone in the surrounding area of 300-500 meters to become distorted as waves... it seems that taking the reiatsu from another living being is causing some sort of disturbance.

The user's health and stamina, regenerate by 30% at the end of the post. This ability can only be once every other post, while Vizard Is activated. It can also have up to two hosts at a time. It is impossible to regenerate from beings that have no reiatsu within their bodies. (The regeneration can be focused into individual limbs if needed)

» Equipment:
After coming to the soul society Mayuko had a very special pair of gloves made for her. They were crimson in colour and had black streaks centred along the back and inner palms. The coolest part of the gloves was the design around the wrist which had a circle-shaped wheel, the same colour as the rest of the glove. The gloves weren't actually ordinary gloves, they were actually a custom made reiatsu suppressors. Each glove has it's own separate key with a name carved on it, one said Grand, and the other said Dota.
