"Looks like everyone here is having fun. Yoriko said covering her mouth as she yawned. It was strange being in Russia, after all besides the weather being different the culture as well and language. And she couldn't speak a lick of Russian, communication barriers will be utter hell for the girl but having a festival cheers anyone up.

The shinigami wasn't that smart in terms of politics, she found it uninteresting. Plus not information the shadowfall fiasco nonsense nor its downfall. Just been working on improving herself, she sat on a bench occasionally looking at the on goers pass by hopefully someone will come.

Yoriko considered her shihakshou but decided against it, besides its a festival and having appropriate clothing is needed. So wearing a short sleeved button down-shirt along with some blue jeans and shoes it hopefully wouldn't give eyebrows raised.

The festival was always a place of unrestrained joy. The costumes lit up the summer's day, a riot of colour to rival any gardener's paradise. Music filled the air, festive beats lifted the spirits and made the people want to move, jump and sing. It was a time to celebrate being alive, celebrate the wonders of creation and be one with the community. The air tasted so heavenly with the chefs alongside the parade, every delicious thing ready to be shared with friends.

Jaeden didn't wear his traditional outfit, he wore a Japanese Yukata and a mask over his face. Though not the normal one you'd think of. His lips pulled upwards into a smile. He saw the figure of Yoriko a familiar face here. Jaeden didn't bring his Zanpakuto with him. As this wasn't a place for weapons truthfully.

His mask was a funny face with a pink color and a long nose. Jaeden had some cotton candy he'd bought. His spirits and very air had changed since last he saw the girl. The gloomy persona and almost constant thought to his family dragged him down. He'd since accepted those as part of him. Not chains or shackles, but a piece of him.

His pink cotton candy stood out as the wave pattern on his blue Yukata stood out a bit. "So, how's my favorite person doing?" Jaeden asked standing before Yuriko as he smiled beneath his mask. His eyes were hidden but he wore a genuine smile that could be seen in its shadow.

"Working hard on those steps, good place here to dodge people dancing around or enjoying some sweets."

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. The shingami just continued to watch people having fun, only to see a couple of people continue their festivities, others leaving only to see a little girl walked over and waved at the shinigami. Of course naturally she waved back before running back towards her mother. The boredom was clearly getting to her, maybe she should've learned Russian before coming. At least she'd be able to communicate easily maybe play a few festival games but nope just sitting on a bench like an idiot.

"Why did I even come here.. she placed two hands on her face.

The shinigami looked up hearing a voice looking up to see Jaden with a mask, not his hollow one but a funny one. One with a pink color with a long nose, the clear metaphor about the training and avoiding people. Her neutral look turned to upward to one cheek a small smirk followed by a chuckle from her voice emerged.

"Okay. That was pretty good Jaeden I'll give you that."
She looked up noticing something strange, nothing she hasn't seen before but pointed at Jaden and stood up. Noticing his eyes once again looking rather similar to Ulv's this time much more different.

"Wait wait. You guys fused with one another? Holy crap that's amazing. Actually..

He had to give her points for noticing the change. Jaeden lifted the mask he wore up revealing his eyes. But he also had a genuine smile on his face. He sat down on the bench next to her, before that he'd gone and gotten her some blue cotton candy.

"Yeah, fusing is a good word for it. Our emotions are now one, hard to describe really. So is our personalities. Few new things and discoveries here and there. " Jaeden held out the blue sugar ball for Yoriko. They'd been where she was right now. So it was a sense of being familiar.

Considering his death at one point as a means, he never considered before that it meant Vait would die. Now he couldn't picture that happening ever, because he would protect himself and themselves equally.

"So, what would you like to do for some fun? Didn't have much of that growing up myself. Or I guess it's ourselves since one of us was born inside a person as an aspect of darkness. And the other lived in a place where the only game was don't get eaten by the big monster."

Jaeden's eyes were black with the radioactive yellow as he'd become more connected to his hollow. These eyes caught some stares before he lowered the mask down. Smiling a bit to himself, he didn't care what they thought. They'd never understand outside throwing stones.

This feeling of being complete and not alone ever again. The feeling of being with someone else at all times every single second. Not just when you reached out to meditate for them. But a true connection and bond. Some would figure it out someday, but not today.

The strange part was he had a love of sweets now, used to hate them, and only love bitter things.

She saw the smile on his face, now she wasn't sure the two personalities mixing was a good idea. But he probably got adjusted to bis hollow so much it didn't had any harmful side-effects or so she thought. He sat next to her for to explain what had happened and got up disappearing for a few minutes later he offered her a cotton candy to which she grabbed and smiled.
[color=#00008B]"Thank you Jaeden, i must say that was very sweet of you, she chuckled at the pun Jaeden probably saw coming but she couldn't resist saying it. Taking a few bites at the sweet she was given.

The Vizard asked what the two should do for fun and the shinigami was looking for something to relieve her boredeom, thankfully Jaeden was there to at least bring some light into it. So she suggested a few things albiet a bit simplistic but its better than complicated stuff after all.

Yoriko watched as some bystanders looked at Jaeden with suspicion and fear, normally she'd bet up nland yell at them for staring like he did something wrong but turning to see Jaeden he didn't seem to mind. And causing a scene wouldn't be in good taste for a fun festival.

Placing a finger on her chin and looking around she had an idea like a lightbulb shining atop her head. Well as festival tradition, i assume even in Russia we could play some games? Perhaps do a bit of dancing, get in the spirit of things ya know?

Jaeden nodded smiling still as he didn't seem upset at anything. So dancing, he couldn't say he ever did that. Not as this presence or the previous ones before him. He tapped his chin thinking about a game they could play. What did Russian's do for fun, the place was cold and frigid. He wondered if their version of the chicken dance involved shivering between each noise.

Play some games, the question was what kind of games did Russian's play? From what he heard about Radioactive, he imagined something like Shark kissing while jumping rope. Maybe something less silly, but still it was hard to picture a figure with that name doing something jovial.

"Got to say, I'm drawing a blank. Never been to Russia before so can't begin to guess what they do for fun. So why don't you take the lead Yoriko?"

Hard enough to navigate things when you were home, neither the hollow nor Jaeden had childhoods to speak of. The new found love of sweet things was pleasant. But the other stuff was difficult to swing when it came down to it.

Though he was willing to try some stuff out with the young Ninja. He didn't mind trying new things, it seemed fun to him in the end. Though the definition of it might be controversial. Jaeden found joy in battle, found it a fun way to test himself. But fighting at a conference would be the height of stupidity.

He was fairly sure that Captain-Commander Hayden-Kyoraku wouldn't approve.

Sure. Umm.. she felt awkward taking the lead, not knowing where to go this would be a difficult task for her but she wasn't going to give up so easily. I'm not very good at the language but i figured we'd go do some dancing then look at the plays. She said a bit enthusiastic though the language barrier is the main issue having fun was the important part.

"After all seeing the Russian's most historial events should see how it became the country it is today." pausing for a moment looking at the ground looking back at Jaeden.

"Well besides Stalin but i don't wanna talk about that. While not a history nut she knew a bit about Stalin and the atrocious era of the 40's everyone from the United States, Japan, and even her home country China suffered many casualties including an event that left a sicking feeling in her stomach.

Regardless, it was enough dillydallying time to find something to do. Yoriko walked around and examined the area, a few children and people eating was typical of any festival. But something caught her eye something different, very similar to the plays she saw in the past. "Jaeden look!

People of all ages sat down in chairs murmuring, others on their cellphones while they waited and some who can't wait to see it begin. As she walked forward she saw the theatre was lit up this night with a thousand brilliant beams, yet the brightest lights of all are inside, awaiting the curtain rise.

She could tell it was the bright bubble of this town, a place the inner life of the human soul comes to dance, sing and exclaim of all that really matters.

He nodded, Russian culture eluded him since he grew up in a heavily Japanese oriented family, though there were Chinese roots also. It's why his sword style was different from others. Though that didn't fit into many conversations here. Plays were coming that he'd seen before. Truth be told he performed kabuki before, it was a strange thing. To envision Jaeden being so frivolously as he smiled beneath his silly mask.

"That sounds good, wonder if they are as good as Kabuki performances." He said commenting somewhat as he looked forward with a smile. His eyes studying with interest and youthful fascination. How long had it been since he saw something new?

Outside of himself, it was a strange little dive into his reality. Going further beneath the surface, finding the pieces of himself. It was a strange sensation here as the new him noticed. Memories leaked in from both parties making him feel not somber but nostalgic.

"History has tyrants in every region, China and Japan weren't different but what makes a country special. Is how they move beyond the past to face tomorrow openly."

His power represented time, so it felt close to him saying such a thing. That he could relate to the feeling of facing tomorrow, not the moments that passed by.

"Probably. But nothing can beat the fact of they Japanese theater show part of an entire story which is usually the best part. Sure people need to know what happened but it what makes it special ya know?" She commented as the show was about to begin somewhat as she looked with a smile, body language was the most important part of communication even if she didn't know the language so this should be fun for the two of them.

"Titled Mother Russia" the plot followed Three distinctly different clients travel to post-Soviet Russia, looking to obtain three distinctly different things: an oil-rich plot of land, an old White Russian Estate, and a baby from an orphanage. Svetlana, a witch-for-hire, is ready to help meet each of their needs. But when it turns out that the land, the estate, and the orphanage are all the same place, and everyone descends upon it simultaneously, Svetlana's talents are put to the test. Chaos and hilarity ensue.

She nodded after hearing Jaeden's words of evil, across the world laid one of the most brutal people throughout history. Countries try to withdraw from their past to make a better future for generations.
In terms of the play some portions she chuckled whilst other times she cried. It was a rather engaging experience for her, she probably should've asked for english translations now that she thought about it.

His eyes spied through the funny mask the figures before him. Observing a different culture in the swing was something. Jaeden's eyes watched as the scene changes before him. Fire flickers and crackles along the area around him. This an illusion of his mind a bitter memory. His arm aches with sudden pain as he realizes it's been bitten into. The teeth of a large wolf-like hollow sinking in. His black eyes slowly begin to have water trickle down his cheek to his jaw. The memory and scars don't fade easily. The Chaos reminded him not of happier moments but of harder ones.

Of his youth and being thrown into a pit where hollows were kept by his father. Told that to survive everyone must die. The children in human terms would have been five or six at most. They were trying to make perfect emotionless warriors.

A voice inside him responded to the pain Jaeden felt, though the tears came. He did nothing and didn't move. He didn't show signs of someone remembering. "Are we alright?" The voice asked inside him the hollow form of Vait appearing from him in a dark haze.

"It's a memory, a passing of greed that came once upon my youth. Before I met you Vait or many people. " Within his world his digits gently clasped where the arm had been a bit. Remembering being stabbed in the back shortly after by someone he saved moments ago.

"We aren't alone to the wolves in the dark..not anymore." A sad smile came upon his face as he felt the touch of Vait on that arm where his hand was. Slowly sinking into his skin again his eyes watched the play.

The comical mask hid his face and let him keep his emotions to himself. Perhaps he would take a page out of Komamura's book, and have the Research and Development team make him some armor. Something to cover with enough room to put a mask on inside of it.

But that wasn't for today, because today was a celebration of freedom and goodwill. The Russian Beast called everyone important to this place, bringing them to here to ignite the fires that burned inside them.
