Venomous Confrontation [Algos/Ania/Ulv]

Tsk, more tears. It's like every time she told a Demon not to cry, they just cried some more. So Ulv would wipe those away again with a suddenly fresh amber handkerchief.
"The essence of my power is being so angry at every single point of my life it could comatose a Shnigami Lieutenant. And it gets worse from there. One's power does not define you, nor should you allow it to be all that you are. There are people in the world that you can lean on, who can and will support you" Ulv would tell her, hugging her tightly.

The sigil on her wrist was an interesting thing. And more than that, a good thing. Now, she had purpose after death. She wouldn't just perish and dissolve into nothing, but would indeed aid those she needed to after such a death. This would normally be the time she'd use one of her powers to soothe the other person's heart and allow them to rest. But Algos was probably still raw on the whole Resolve thing, so she decided to just hold the woman and comfort her in a far more mundane fashion.

Well, definition of a thankless task. Algos just kept crying. Eventually Ulv just gave up with the wiping and let her get all bloody. Not having powers like Algos, Ulv had a surprisingly mundane thought pattern on things. Cleaning her clothes had to be done by hand. Plus her mind tended to focus on such strange details sometimes, it was a facet of her will.

"Hmmm. That'd both suck and be poetic. It's how Mirja died. But, the world would see me, a woman who had lost every scrap of resolve, ability, and strength to fight back against the forces of the earth, as a screaming mad woman kicking about the place trying to get those back. I am driven by a desire to make sure that no being in existence ever feels like Mirja felt. Resolve, ability, and strength to fight back helps with that desire, but even without them, it is still something I pursue with reckless abandon. Should I lose what I need to pursue it, then I shall simply work to get them back. And then continue pursuing it"

"An end is to be avoided if at all possible. But yes, if you can't avoid it then make sure the death at least serves a purpose for those you care about" Ulv told Algos. Her empathic powers were going a little wild around Algos and it felt really shitty. But that was her choice, and that was something she would do, until the end"

Ulv would shift into a slightly more comfortable position and then hold that, looking to Algos and beginning one of her iconic deep emotional speeches.

"The only mistake is the one we allow to be. You made admittedly a really big mistake, no denying that dear. But the beauty of life is that you are capable of taking that mistake and fixing it. If the family you have truly cares about you, they will support your attempts to fix it. And if they don't truly care about you then why bother caring about them? Find someone that does, and support them as you are supported by them. No one woman is an island, even if she can vaporise one.

There is this myth from the Greeks that while not real, I kind of like. When people first came to be, they were giant beings with four arms and two heads. But, the Gods were fearful of these creatures, for their power could be used in time to rip them down from their thrones. So they split them all in two, leaving the humans to forever search for their other half.

While there are obvious flaws here, the main moral is still easy to take away. Everyone needs someone to truly confide in, someone that is there other half. Doesn't have to be someone you love, doesn't have to be someone in your family. Hell, doesn't even need to be someone you like. Just someone you can talk to, someone that you know will never judge you for what you say"

Blegh. Gods this woman bled a lot. Probably part of being a Demon that didn't need a body the same way other people did anymore. If Ulv bled like this it wouldn't be comfortable for her in the slightest. Still, comfort was the name of the game so she'd help Algos with her thoughts.

"Yea, stories are good but ultimately they are just stories. Though, what would I do in this situation? Great loss in the past, but hope for the future. Me, personally...I would look to Calypso and ensure that she feels how I think she feels. Absolutely and entirely. Were this not the case, you can move on that, and talk deeper.

I don't think you know half of what you think you do. Deep emotional trauma in your heart blinds you from the world around you, but you need to open your eyes and look around truly. You might find a world that is far more delightful than you have thought. If you look for the light, you will often find it. But if you look for the darkness, that is all you will ever see"

Looking to Ania for a second, and then back to Algos, she'd smile softly.
"Calypso doesn't seem to judge quickly. So while this has been a traumatic experience for you all, you should talk to her about it all. Not just the immediate effects of Minatumi, but your desires for the future and how you want to go about it. You might think right now you are immutable and despairing, but the world is infinite and beautiful, you could change for those you love. Or be changed by those you love. Never write off anything before it has happened"
