Flame of Gratitude

Hime tilted her head as she continued to observe Ulv's appearance. The one thing Ulv still kept from their first interaction was the flirtatious nature and no-holds barred personality.

Hime was well aware of what a date had entailed and yet she was far from shy about the subject. Were the connotations a bad thing? Ulv was a beautiful, vigorous woman with a passionate soul.

Though far from the type one would consider "courting material" she was a woman who was definitely the apple of one's eye. Hime chuckled and casually glanced at Ulv as the woman sat down.


She snapped her fingers softly and soon a waiter walked from the doors with a bottle of the finest wine Hime's money could buy. As a woman who wore grace and elegance on her shoulders, it was nothing short of high-quality. Pouring the two cups, he bowed before the women and notified them that their meal(s) would be ready soon. In the mean time, Hime nodded and ordered the man to bring them a few bowls of soup as an appetizer. The soup itself was not actually made by the chef of the restaurant.


No, Hime had personally entered the kitchen herself and prepared it. Needless to say, the chef was quite impressed and wondered if the graceful woman minded the idea of having a part-time job here, with all the cooking-experience.

Hime had one bowl of soup set before her while she directed that Ulv as many as she wanted. Taking a small sip of wine, she smiled as she finally replied to Ulv's comment.


"I figured you would reference what it meant to invite you on a date and even though I hardly think I hold any romantic affection for anyone, is it wrong to treat such a woman of your status to a date? Your beauty and vigor are things I admire, and I wasted no small effort in wishing to show you my appreciation. As such, my intent is to make this date as authentic and appreciated as it can be. I do not intend to turn back now."

Hime was not shy about the way she wished to treat her dear friend. Even if it meant the authentic date experience. She was one who was willing to go to extreme lengths for the right people, and Ulv slid into the category rather nicely after the issue she had solved.

"I hope the soup is to your liking... I prepared it myself. I planning on cooking everything... but I figured that would go against proper dating etiquette. Well, a special date that is. I have much to learn about the customs of earth, truth be told."
