Caly watched the woman stumble and screw up with trying to wake up, as soon as the woman's tail slipped off her, patting her on the head as the Asthavon sat up, sensing the woman's sheer exhaustion. It wasn't as if Calypso lost the sensible parts of her mind; she felt empathy for the woman's state and sighed in response to the woman's clearly tired state,
"Don't worry about it. I can be on my own for a bit while you wake up properly. I just gotta think about it~"The young Asthavon would pat Nizhuan's head as she would disappear off into the odd-colored trees, sighing softly as she was lost in thought, gently running her hand against the strange bark as she walked quietly. She felt a bit lightheaded, but she wasn't too alarmed at her state as she took to walking on her own. The terrain around her seemed to shift unnaturally to her gaze, a gentle sensation of heat to her body, as her gaze dulled a bit, eyes blinking rapidly as she felt odd all over. Her arms trembled, flourishes of sick feelings causing cold chills as she took a deep breath,
"..W-what the hell?" Calypso felt a bit worried towards her state as she walked, leaning against a tree and shutting her eyes, trying to focus and stave off sensations of illness as she would sigh, pressing a hand against her head,
"..Maybe i'm just stress-...?"Her eyes had slid open, suddenly seeing the forest aflame, buildings of Jefferson peeking from the background, eyes forming on all the trees, each and every one of them resembling the scared expressions of those within that swirl of fire and flame, in her attempt to save them, though the woman didn't scream, she didn't cry, she didn't panic, merely her gaze floating about calmly and dreamily as she kept walking. This felt.. Strangely fine, almost like a strange dream as the flames swirled around her in various colors. Her heart raced, body churning with anxiety, but her mind didn't interpret terror at all, as she stopped for a moment, as if hearing something, her gaze moving to what looked to be a dimly lit series of blues, just beyond an opening out of the flaming trees.
"...Come here..."
Wordlessly, she would walk over to where she heard the voice, feeling an eerie calm to her soul as she stopped at the bank. She stood over a pool of water, seeming to shimmer with an ethereal blue as she stared in, her reflection there, but it wasn't... Normal. It's eyes were blacked out, darkness bleeding from them and a blackened smile on it's face, as the voice would ring out again,
"Heeeyy... You came..."
Calypso stared down in a calm sense of puzzlement - everything about her currently was far too calm for the situation, but as it went uninterrupted, she would speak,
"..Who are you..?"
"..Oh.. I think i'm you..? I'm pretty sure.." Her reflection didn't move, looking as if it was a static image upon the pool's surface,
"..Doesn't this feel great?""Doesn't what, feel great..?"
"All this power and control running through us... It's so much different to the sense of powerlessness we felt all our lives, right?""I guess so." Calypso didn't feel odd at all talking to this apparition of herself. She felt safe and comfortable in her position, even with the flames of the past raging all around her. Though, the reflection would seem to look a bit more wild, the Seal of Eris emblazoned upon it's chest growing more prominent as it continued,
"We never have to be scared or confused again, yknow? Nobody can hold us back from what we want to do.. When we realize this power, we can do whatever the hell we want~!" The sound of giggling would come from the reflection as the Asthavon softly nodded,
"..That does.. Make sense.. I.. Can prevent stuff like that from ever happening again.."
"You could've."
"I.. Could've what?"
"Stopped him."
"..Really..?"
"Yep~ Could've just sliced it's head off and the whole thing could have been done, yknow~? You were a bitch before, but it's different now... You know power now.."The staff formed in her hands once more as she rose up,
"...Huh... I never considered that.."Her expression would turn into some fear and upset, however, a frown forming on her face,
"..But... Weren't they my friend..?""City burners aren't friends, my love."
