The kunoichi sighed as she started at the ceiling for what felt like hours. The events of the whole mind-controlled infected was a the survivors desperately needing someone to help them from the horde let her show what she was capable of. A chance to briefly meet Sylvia once again and her aunt kicking some ass, yet the danger was still their the danger of those innocent people being subjected to those zombies was a constant thought in the back of her head.
Yet her father had came to the rescue for both her sake and everyone one else while he left. She appreciated the gesture as the voices were going to eventually turn her into a mindless slave just like the rest. They were able to defeat the horde but something got into the pit of her stomach..
Everyone had something that gave them drive to keep on living, some wanted to be respected by others by becoming a higher authority, others want to become insanely powerful to show they weren't weak. But for Yoriko it was a constant struggle she wanted to become independent but that wasn't good enough. She needed something to
And this strange feeling of a thing..growing inside of her. She wasn't sure what it was but the only person she could find that listened was Ulv. As Ari was probably busy doing her usual Aunt things. She needed to see Ulv right away as the muscular vizard always had something to say to ease one's troubles.
Without a second thought she got up and changed it her clothes putting her shihakshou underneath for good measure. With every step the floor creaked as she stopped for a brief moment; something didn't feel right.
"Wait..where the heck is dad anyway?" She placed a finger on her chin before brushing it off her husky tone was prominent.
"Eh what's the point in asking, he'll probably lecture me about being with her." She said before imitating exactly what he'll say in a mocking tone. "Don't go with Ulv she's not to be trusted, I'm your dad and I don't want you to be subjected to her foolishness." She imitating his voice though it wasn't perfect.
Regardless, she hoped that Ulv received the note and would meet her at the cafe, after all nothings better then a cup of warm coffee and sugar for the morning. Without hesitation she shunpo'ed towards the cafe with a smile though it wasn't cheerful like it always is.

Ulv was waiting for Yoriko at the cafe, and had ordered her a drink plucked from her heart's desire to turn up just as Yoriko was arriving. This town was her town, so she could make some serious roulette plans based on where she felt people and how they were feeling. Once she did arrive, the shocking golden eyes were certainly a new thing. They seemed to be able to penetrate deep into Yoriko's soul and lay bare her entire life. She was naked before Ulv's sight, no matter how well wrapped up she was.
"On that topic, how is your tenure with the Gotei? Still doing well I hope? Don't take Henrex's firing to heart, it happens when you don't do anything for months and kind of suck at what you do do"

Listening to Ulv's response of how her father would react to such a situation when she returns, the girl just laughed hysterically like a hyena.
"You literally got him perfectly.That's exactly what he'd fucking do. But..his lectures are kinda medicore. He isn't tough on me just gives a pat on the back and that's what bothers me, he isn't assertive, just give me something to learn my lesson. She before looking at Ulv once again with an eyebrow raised, her expression just completely blank as if she didn't care about what people had to say.
"If by well you mean dragged out for no apparent reason then yes I'm totally peachy. She will have sat down on one of the chairs next to Ulv as she continued her so called rant on the current events unfolding around her for the past few days. Ulv would definitely see a change in both tone and posture; a bitter tone will open from her mouth trying to maintain her smile around the people around. But she knew she couldn't do it, a worthless thing to do when expressing your true feelings to someone.
He said he didn't want to "Talk about it" which completely fucking baffles me, like am I not permitted to ask what the hell is going on with him? I may not know everything but I at least want to help dad rather then see him lay around all day brooding..it's sad really." She sighed heavily folding her arms across her upper body looking around for a split second before looking back at Ulv.
"Sorry you had to hear my little rant. Everyone has to get that feeling out of their chest." She would then see and order tea with a hint of sugar, while she did enjoy the taste it was better with sugar to give it that sweet taste.

Well, she had a lot of troubles. Running into the face of Henrex was a big one. Ulv had been bashing her head off that mountain for years and all it had given was a sore head. Getting dragged out of Gotei with no formal leave was another big one, though that was one she could fix.
"I have been with Henrex for years now, and I have come to learn that the only being capable of helping him, is him. If he doesn't want help then you will not be able to help him regardless of what you do or say. Just have to wait for him to want help, if he ever will" Ulv counciled. It wasn't the best, but then we all had to make do with what we got.
"As for being dragged out, finish your tea and we'll go fix that. Henrex doesn't need even more trouble and you don't need you career tarnished by desertion"

The shinigami deeply listened to the vizards words concerning Henrex. It seems like the two had history long before she came into the picture of being his adopted daughter; the person who could help him among any corcustance was himself.
Those words of course was relatable in a sense ever since she got older up she's learned that not everyone can handle everything on their own whether its personal feelings inside thier heads or the mental scars.
But over the last few days she's seen her fathers lack of interaction between the two, worrying her greatly. If the roles were switched and she was in her fathers shoes Henrex would do everything in his power to he can to help her why not accept help from her?
Who knows but if its his decision then so be it; but she'll have a pep-talk with him later. For now it was time to get into the meat of things.
A heavy sigh as she drank the tea before placing it down. "You're right Ulv. I'm not sure if it was the madness scrambling his brains during the whole thing in China or whether that's his entire mindset as a whole."
Thank you for listening by the way. I needed to get this out my chest and having someone to talk to really cheered me up." She smiled as she gave the vizard a hug."

I admit to being forceful and obsessed with helping him recover, but it's not for nothing, my powers do help people recover. I have a long track of people who have recovered. Abalia being the biggest one.

She'd shake her head gently and then grin and hug Yoriko when she came in for one.
"I'm always around to listen, dear. Whenever you need any help and you don't think those closest can help you, you are welcome here any time" She would give her a warm, firm hug. A wordless claim she was safe and protected from the outside world. Exactly how one might think a mother would be.
"But seriously. We going to the Gotei" she then replied, opening a Senkaimon besides them. "Desertion is quite the bad thing, kidnapping worse, and we don't need people kicking in Henrex's door to arrest him"

His whole life has been nothing but dread and despair; was this a curse he’d been given for his wrongdoings? Or perhaps it was his inner psyche not willing to accept any assistance and not wanting to be fixed. Though she was glad to see that Ulv attempted to ease her father’s issues but alas her views on coping methods were different which gave respect towards the Vizard.
But understandable, everyone has their own method of treating people and was no exception. She wondered if she had to let go as well..she was his only daughter and that’d only hurt him more. But on the other hand, maybe he should deal with the problem himself..regardless she didn’t want this thought to cloud her judgement.
As soon as Ulv gave her that firm hug and words only a mother would say. Her mind flashed back to her early years as a child lying in bed as her mother walked into the room sit on on the bed. Not realizing that she was speaking in her Mandarian language for a few seconds. "Mom you’re the only person I know that gives indefinite hugs." Her mom snickered, "Well, love, where else would I rather be?" In that moment the arms squeezed a fraction tighter and Yoriko breathed more slowly, her body melting into her mom's as every muscle lost its tension to the cool night air.
“I miss you so much” She said to herself as her dialect went back to english, looking back at Ulv and apologized. “D-Did you hear any of that?” She asked, a bit embarrassed.
Soon as the two were heading to the Gotei the girl couldn’t help but be pumped up.
"Great." she then replied, opening a Senkaimon besides them. She replied, seeing the senkaimon appear beside the two anxious to enter. The gotei probably hasn’t changed much and it let her see her real “home” so to speak. Although the thought of not being welcome with open arms due to whatever the heck Henrex did was on her mind.

"No, I'm just an omniscient empath three inches from you. Of course I didn't hear that" Ulv commented with a snarky grin, escorting Yoriko back to the Gotei. With the state of the world right now, even people like Yoriko could go out on patrols with others and they would only start questioning where she was after a certain length of time. That length of time had yet to elapse so she was still covered in the administration of an organisation as large as the Gotei's.
"Alright. Go sign in with your Captain so you are back from the training patrol and then we can get down to what you need me for. Even if that is just a chat and gentle day out"

Whatever. she smiled before playfully punched Ulv in the arm which didn't hurt considering her body was literally a brick wall compared to her slender frame, but she couldn't hold back as a smile showed on her face as if someone told a joke to bring her spirits up. Once entering the sekienmon and arriving at the sereitei. The place was still the same but it she wanted to go see her dad's old quarters but it was probably taken by someone else, besides just walking in wouldn't be so welcoming. Regardless after being reminded to do a quick stop by her captain to return for routine patrolling.
"Oh thanks for reminding me. I'll be back"
In a quick of a flash she vanished from the vizards sight and off to the it was a while since she's been there so it took a few minutes before she arrived, signing in with the captain making sure to maintain proper etiquette for a higher authority. Now that she was able to go back to patrols once more she rushed back to Ulv and remembered what she said earlier about hanging out.
"You know, that'd actually be wonderful. Besides with dad doing his usual brooding and sulking about his mistakes in life; plus Ari doing whatever she's doing currently it'd be a nice change of pace to hang with you." She said now it was true for Henrex but her aunt was a different dilema she remembers asking about finding love and she was saddened perhaps she finally found the one? Who knows but it was time to get to the nitty-gritty looking at Ulv as if worried of something.
"So I've been having this strange feeling over the past month or so. I've been training a bit and got attacked by some hollows; thankfully i defeated them. However overtime I feel like something is lingering within my soul. Something wicked. She said she did get a bit of information regarding vizards from their training session but not the whole picture understandable enough. But she wanted clarification that this wicked manifestation was residing there, waiting for her to come.

Punching Ulv would feel less like a brick wall and more like custard. Like she had punched some super gloopy stuff that just ate her fist and then let it go when she pulled back. She was a weird one, that Ulv. Still, she waved to Yoriko as she went off to her Captain, and then became a little darker.
'New Vizard coming...this is going to be great. Wonder if she'll follow literally any advice at all' Ulv commented.
'You are bitter about Takehiko. Don't worry, she seems more competent. Your bigger worry is Henrex. He's emotionally retarded but when he finds out Yoriko is in danger he'll stuff her in the basement and sit on the door. Which is counter productive' Hvit replied.
Ulv let out a sigh from that, it was so much effort being the Queen. Why did she even bother? The answer came immediately. She bothered because it was her duty. Because the Queen must be the flame of greatness for her followers to aspire to. So when Yoriko returned, Ulv nodded to herself.
"You'll need to spend some time looking inwards, Yoriko. Nothing comes from nothing, and you will be best served truly understanding what your darkness will manfiest as. What your most negative emotions are. However you want to ignore them, now is the time to do the opposite of ignoring them. You must acknowledge them, and so when they become real you are ready to extend a hand.
Inner Hollows are a cursed race. Doomed to be born of fire and fury, they know nothing but the blackened pit they are spawned from, and can think of nothing but how to get free of the prison so they might get a modicum of release from these emotions. You, have to be the one to extend a hand and teach them there is more to life than what they know. Be the mother to their child, and they will be the closest friend you have had.
Treat them as you'd wish to be treated. But, never forget they are dangerous, as you never forget the sword with which you save a hundred lives with, is dangerous. Treat them with respect, with dignity, with honour. Teach them that their views on the world are not all there is, and that you can exist in perfect harmony because the circumstances of your birth are irrelevant. It's what you do with the gift of life, that determines who you are"
With that, Ulv leaned back and gave a warm, gentle smile to Yoriko.
"Or go the Takehiko route and fuck up entirely, earning my eternal enmity when you then come to me asking to get your hollow killed because you can't handle it due to said fuck ups"
