Despite the route that her life might have taken, Kirio has settled into a role of very genuine kindheartedness and care for everyone she meets. The people of the Rukongai know her well, and you would be hard pressed to find any of them who would say that she is not a hard-working, respectable member of society. This is all true, of course, and it isn't as if she's hiding anything. Kirio simply doesn't talk about her earlier days, fully wishing to just live a quiet life away from the noise. In that sense, she would never ask for anything to change.

Sometimes, however, she does still think on her sister, and those thoughts give her pause. She isn't necessarily angry at Hime anymore, though she's hardly happy with her, either. It could be said that she simply avoids thinking about her entirely, in no small part to avoid having to actually confront those feelings of anger, of grief. Were she to look at them head-on, she perhaps would not be such a cheerful woman as she manages to be. And so, she simply chooses not to think about those things. After all, all she wants is a quiet, simple life, running the bakery their mother loved.
