Earth? Yes, Earth. Specifically, Minatumi Harbor. Hime had not been to this realm for some time and so she used a map that would lead her to the right location. That is, the manor of the woman known as Ulv Auber. Abalia had wanted to let Hime know that she was welcomed and valued as a person.
Hime did not believe she was worthy of such an honor and even now, she still struggled with the thought of being a "good person", that she was redeemable and worthy of being her bodyguard. And so, for this one time, Abalia decided one person who could likely help her out of that mentality was Ulv, and so that is what led Hime to where she was walking now.
Hime had utilized Shunpo to reach her destination quickly. Now, here she was, standing before the door of this "Ulv Auber". A Gotei-sanctioned visit with an ally.
She had to admit, she was rather curious to meet this woman.

The door would open by itself and Hime would see, across the room, the naked ass of Ulv, bent down to put something in the oven. She would then stand up and set the timer for everything before turning. She was, at least, wearing an apron, but nothing else. Her firm arms and thick thighs were clearly on show, and her breasts bulged and strained against the tight apron that she had put on.
"Ahh, Hime. Hello. Heard you were coming" she said, putting the trays in the sink and walking over to the woman. "Might I say I am impressed with your forthrightness. Expediting the matter exceptionally, you betrayed Henrex before even getting with him. Was it intentional, or just habit at this point in your life?"

What met Hime was not Ulv herself but rather a unique opening of the door and the sight of her bare ass. Wonderful impression. Abalia had stated Ulv was an eccentric one and judging by her appearance, she was living up to Abalia's word. Hime blinked, somewhat taken aback by everything before she gathered her composure and walked into the house.
Ulv's choice of - or lack thereof - clothing was... interesting, to say the least. Hime walked in and bowed respectfully before Ulv hit her with a conversation... about a familiar man.
She didn't really want to answer that question yet neither did she wish to be rude and not answer.
"Neither." She hoped Ulv wouldn't press the issue but she had no idea how this woman operated and steeled herself for more of these "questions."

Ulv would let out a noise and the apron would flex around her, forming back into proper clothes that covered her body. Hime's lack of real emotion about the whole situation was definitely proof of what she had been told about the girl. She wasn't...all there anymore.
"I was told about that but I never thought it'd be quite so bad. Didn't even flinch at the mention of it. We've got some work cut out for us. Cup of tea, dear?" Ulv asked, turning to the kettle and pouring some water into it. Clearly, what she had said before was not a true thought but instead a goading to see how Hime would react to it.

Hime remained silent as she observed the amber-haired woman. Apron aside, her body was quite an image to be admired. It was strong yet still possessed an air of womanly charm. The apron was not long to last, however, as Ulv quickly transmuted it into proper clothing - an action that made Hime feel less awkward about the conversation between them. Once she did that, she went over to the kettle and seemed to be preparing tea, offering a cup to the graceful woman. Hime nodded softly with a somewhat robotic motion as she accepted the offer.
"A cup of tea is welcomed."

"I can understand it, you know" Ulv said, making the cup of tea. The flash of power from her boiled the kettle and then it was filled, emphatically picking Hime's preferred tea method out of her heart and made it how she wished, before handing the cup to the woman and sipping her own.
"You have been through a lot. A lot you don't understand properly. People have taken advantage of you, you have garnered a terrible reputation, and now you feel redemption comes in death, that you do not deserve anything other than that.
But there in lies the issue. Every time you doubt yourself and believe in what people think you are, you open yourself up to vulnerabilities that simply enhance the ability to take advantage of you again. You must strike at the root if you really seek atonment"

'As a child, I was always taught that if you did bad things, do not be surprised if you receive punishment in equal measure. Killing is an absolute wrong. I killed so many people, taking away the lives of people who had futures, who had families. I fought in wars where I destroyed families and razed cities. Even in my dreams, I can still hear their cries..."
Hime bowed her head thankfully as she took the cup of tea, the fragrant odor of the warm beverage filled her nostrils as she took a light sip before she continued, truly curious as to what Ulv meant. To strike at the root...
"I feel as if my existence is one that should've been done away with by now. First, I was spared by Henrex. I considered him as a fool that was willfully ignorant of my past crimes... and then, of all people, my life was spared by Abalia. Ever since then, she has offered me the opportunity to be her bodyguard, and in exchange, she would watch over my sister... a blessing from above, truly."
Hime stared up at the mighty woman as she sighed, asking her a heartfelt question from the innermost part of her thoughts.
"What does it mean to be able to strike at the root? Why do I still live? What is this purpose that people see in me that I am too blind to see myself? Am I flawed or is there a path that exists for me in this world where I can truly be proud of?"

Most of the time. You don't seem a woman who was told what was wrong, just that you were. Which opened you up to be manipulated by men who knew how to press your buttons.
As for killing, it is always bad. But not always wrong. Sometimes you need to do bad things. Sometimes you are manipulated into doing bad things, or that you don't know it is bad. The world is a glorious spectrum of colours. Nothing is ever one thing or the other"
Ulv would sip her drink before thinking on what Hime had asked. It was one thing to give motivational koans, but another to really explain how to pursue them.
"Henrex is...yea. An enigma. You'll go mad trying to understand why he does or does not do something. Abalia, is far more pragmatic, practical. She most probably brought you out to make sure that you were being of use to the Gotei rather than just locked in a box. Though, at the same time, sending you to me does mean she cares somewhat about you.
As for how you can strike at the root of it all and become a woman, you need to find the reason why it all started. What you lacked that let you get pulled into what you got pulled into. And from there, accept that you need to fix it. And then get help in doing so"

To strike at the root, find out why it all started.
Why it all started...
Hime could not help but recall those days in Rukongai where she danced around the kitchen with her younger sibling in the cafe their mother had built. She recalled the days where they gossiped about what type of boys they liked. She recalled the days where they entered the Gotei 13 and trained together in order to improve. And then she recalled the bad memories.
Ulv would likely sense this emotion, considering her virtuous ability as an empath. They were strong emotions. Regret. Shame. A need to apologize; to right this wrong.
The bad memories were those of when she felt her anger rise at seeing the success of her sister as she climbed the ladders with the impeccable grace of a true prodigy. How all her efforts seemed to be overshadowed by Kirio Tatsumiya and she was becoming invisible to the eyes of others, to the eyes of her own mother. The anger rising to its peak when her sister had made it so far above her that she was set to enter the zero division well before her time, to be a vaunted royal guard to the Soul King.
And the shame... the regret of destroying it by attacking her own sister and fighting her until her sister retaliated struck her down, snuffing out her jealousy like a meager flame. She should have died that day. Kirio had executed such a fierce hakuda technique that Hime had concluded she died. Did she hold back? If so, why?
Hime felt a tear roll forth from her eyes as she diverted her gaze towards the tea. It was too much to bear. If she were to face her now... what would she even say? Perhaps, that is where it all started, where it all led to her paths of being manipulated just to feel affirmed in this world. No one could truly know.
"I think I may know what the cause was... but I fear the thought of facing it directly."

Hime didn't talk, but Ulv could patch together a vague story from the emotions she was feeling. There was first delight and happiness, and then soft determination. And then, though these emotions felt after the fact, regret and shame. Clearly what was coming was not something she liked to think about. And Ulv could understand why as they did come. Jealousy and anger - which, when added to the previous feelings of companionship and determination, could be construed as the other person doing much better than her - and then more anger. And more anger. That was something Ulv could relate to.
Finally, the anger was tinged, and drowned in shame. The same shame she had felt before, so clearly the act she was thinking of was the reason she was ashamed of herself. Maybe she had done something out of anger she would never live down.
"Good" Ulv said, softly. Sipping her cup of tea. "Were you not to fear facing it, then it would not be something that weighed on your mind. You would not be bothered by it, and thus it would not be the true root, but rather a bad thing you might accent as. However, It's ok now. Why? Because I am here"
Finishing her cup and launching it into the sink, the cup did not shatter as one might expect but just clunk off the wall and bounce into the sink with narry a chip to show for the rough treatment. She would send a Hell Butterfly to Abalia to tell her she was going wandering with Hime, and then look to the woman.
"Tell me where we are going, and we are off. You can complain if you want, but it won't do you any good"
