I. Kage's Personality

Kage has a simple personality upholding honor, loyalty, justice, and respect and he also has some quirks; such as his seeming slacker attitude to most things except food and fighting. He's normally seen napping in various spots around the towns and cities he stops off at. Despite this, he's always up for a fight and loves ones that are stacked against him.

Kage has a great dislike to pacifists often seeing them as people who ignore the basic natures of life.....conflict, and hardship. As he's quoted many times "The world is made up of two sides...War and Peace, Life and Death, Good and Evil, Justice and Injustices...They are two sides of the same coin and will always exist trying to avoid or ignore it is pointless and redundant." This outlook on life comes from his upbringing, training and life experiences exploring and fighting on earth.

His anger is also one of his most deadly traits, he can be a vicious animal when pushed and destroy anyone who gets in his way, however, he dislikes giving in to it as it makes him more violent and destructive to the surrounding area and people which goes against his code to protect the weak against evil. However, he has 3 stages of anger; angry, furious and demonic.

Birth
When Kage was born his parents loved him so much, but there was one thing bothering them. His parents were Shinigami and when he was born they could feel a demonic force surrounding him. The spirit was feral and wild. They were afraid that Kage would one day turn on them so they left him in a desert to die...that was the only and last time he saw his biological parents. Luckily, he didn’t die and he learned how to survive by himself. There was no one to help him or care for him. He was alone for many years until one day.

Abigail’s Teachings
A fair-skinned lady walked up to the boy with a worried face. She asked if he was okay and where were his parents. He stayed silent because he never learned how to speak. She then grabbed his hand softly and took him under her wing and into her group. She then taught him how to speak many languages and how to fight but what differed him from the group and Abigail was his spiritual pressure. It manifested into the shape of a fox. She then instructed him to control his spiritual pressure and she also told him to go find a sword so that his spiritual pressure could be sealed into that sword, soon the sword became his Zanpakutō. When he got older Abigail taught him further, fencing and hand-to-hand combat.

Honō no kōtei’s Awakening
Kage noticed that all the other Shinigami were gaining their Shikai, he was disappointed because he hadn’t achieved his. He suddenly became the weakling of the group and he was disrespected by the other group members. He went to Abigail and asked her to help him achieve his Shikai. She was hesitant because it was something that he would have to achieve on his own and she was going through her own problems but he couldn’t do it without guidance. So she leads him to a spot where they could train and she had him train nonstop until he was ready to achieve Shikai. Kage got into a meditation pose and closed his eyes. As soon as he did that, he was brought into his Inner World.

Turn the heavens into a never-ending hell, Honō no kōtei!
He opened his eyes and saw a barren battlefield with tens of thousands of swords driven into the ground. He stood up and looked around until he heard a very deep voice. ” Say my name Kage...” He turned around and saw a giant orange fox with nine tails. He was in shock but the fox looked wounded. He asked the fox what had happened but there was no response. He then asked what the fox had said before and the fox said it again but he said it louder. ”Say my name!” Kage was shot back and he was back in the world of the living. Kage was in shock, he didn’t know what to say. He tried to speak but he was lost for words. Then the image started flashing in his head, and his reiatsu was being to spew out of him in a primal rage. He picked up his Zanpakutō and the reiatsu was spewing out faster and faster until Kage said the words... ” Turn the heavens into a never-ending hell, Honō no kōtei!” The clouds opened up and a massive beam of fire landed on him. The beam completely disintegrated, and Kage emerged with his Shikai, but Abigail was nowhere to be found. Kage hadn't realized that Abigaíl was deployed, and she had vanished by the time he awoke.

Kage had left the group and was now roaming the earth. He decided to leave because he hadn’t seen Abigail since he achieved his Shikai and he joined the Gotei. He perfected his mind and body on his own, as well as his fighting style and his swordplay. He achieved this from years on top of years of training but it finally paid off. The amount of training he did was incomprehensible on terms of years. He rather stay away from danger than go into it. He stops at local cities to take breaks in between, but noting really eventful. His life has been pretty boring ever since he left the group.

I. Racial Techniques/Abilities/Skills

Destructive Strength: Kage's strength is otherworldly. With the intense training Abigail gave him and his own training that he gave himself, his strength has been honed perfectly. With his strength alone, he can destroy massive boulders and rocks. By using this strength in his fighting style, he could incinerate his opponent using his techniques. The downside is that his clones only have half of his power.

Master Hakuda User: Kage is nowhere near mastering Zanjustsu but his Hakuda level is near-perfection. With this feature, he created his go-to fighting style called Honō no ugoki. This consists of flurries of punches and blunt attacks as well as different types of footwork making him very agile and quick. This allows him to move quickly with ease and hit precise shots. This fighting style alone is very dangerous if you attack him alone, but the only weakness is that it can be overwhelmed with stronger attacks.

Master Swordsmanship: Kage's swordsmanship is amazing in terms of combat. He also created his go-to sword style named, Kemono no Kenbu. This sword style also incorporates Kage's manipulation over fire and wind. Allowing him to perform flying and flaming attacks. While using Wind, he can move very fast making him agile and light. With precise pierces and cuts, this could be fatal for his target. While this is very deadly, he can also use Koto in his footwork making him disappear in seconds which makes him a very intense opponent to fight.

Honō no ugoki: Shi No Hana: This attack can damage the opponent fatality. This attack consists of destructive kicks and punches to the head, body, and mind. This drives the human body to insanity by confusing the mind to the point it seems an illusion while being attacked relentlessly. The only way someone can attack while this is happening is if the opponent is more masterful in combat.

Kemono No Kenbu: Enpū Kuchiku-Kan, Variation 1: Kage goes into his battle stance and launches at his target at a very fast speed. He performs many cuts to the body in a flash and ends with a Blossom Sphere to the chest which adds more damage.

Kemono No Kenbu: Enpū Kuchiku-Kan, Variation 2: He performs heavy slices to the body to immobilize his target, he drives the sword into the shoulder of the target. He then creates a Blossom Sphere and makes the sphere explode at his opponent which creates a point-blank explosion to the body.

Novice Kido User: Kage is not masterful at Kido and can be overwhelmed easily from this. This is a dangerous setback for him because if he is fighting someone very proficient in Kido alone, this could be fatal for him. The only way he avoids this is if he escapes quickly.

Master Hohō User: This is one of his specialties, if his opponent isn’t careful, their choice could be fatal. He is more masterful at this than most people. What differs him from other people is that he doesn’t use it just for combat and evasion, he includes this in his fighting style as well as his attacks to further damage his opponent.

Beast Slam: Kage starts running towards his target and uses Koto to get high in the air and with the target not knowing where he went, he slams a Blossom Sphere on the target's back, creating an explosion.

Honō Nenshō Konbo: Kage uses Multi Flame Wind Sphere, he shoots all of them except 2. He uses Kōtō to get from behind the target and shoots both spheres at it, creating a gigantic explosion.

Kōtō: This is a variation of Shunpo that Kage created himself. Instead of making the normal sound of a flash, it’s more of a boom. The sound it creates sounds like what a bomb makes. This allows him to move super fast but the downfall is that the sound is loud and it can allow other opponents to locate him faster if they can catch up to him.

Advanced Durability: This is another one of his feats. Kage can withstand many attacks and moves without being scratched. He can use his body as a shield to defend himself and other people. This also allows him to use himself as a weapon without needing an actual weapon, like using himself as a cannonball and many other things.

Fire-like Reiatsu: His reiatsu differs from other Shinigami. His reiatsu takes the appearance as orange flames. His reiatsu is incredibly beautiful and dangerous at the same time. It could be a sign of peace or it can be a sign of animosity and destruction. It can be used either way, but its main characteristic is incineration. When he really taps into this power, he can become a weapon of mass destruction.

Personal Tulpa: Kage's Tulpa is mainly meant for offense rather than defense. It enhances Kage's ability to use flames in general and it was formed from his rage. Not only does it enhances Kage's flames, but it also enhances his fighting capability and his strength

His Tulpa changes his eyes to a dark red and the lines on his cheek become more solid and take the form of claw marks. His irises slit open like a feline and his teeth get sharper, growing complete fangs. His aura grows more dark and ominous, as well as changing to a dark red color. It becomes more dangerous and wild. It twists and churns and boils in a never-ending rage of infinite destruction.

Full Tulpa: Nine Blossom Beast: Kage’s Full Tulpa brings the beast out of him. His energy coats his entire body and gives him beastly features and they are made of reiatsu. This gives him animal senses, monstrous strength, sharp reflexes, insane speed as well as the ability to create claws and other beastly features to use at his advantage. His aura completely takes a turn into animosity. Its feral spirit enlists true fear into his target.

Appearance:

Nine Blossom Beast: Flame Beast Gun: Kage puts his tails up and opens his mouth and slowly creates a black ball of energy. His tails act as a beacon of energy. They give more energy to the ball which makes it bigger and stronger. When it is finished, Kage opens his mouth wider and eats it. It then explodes and shoots a massive beam of energy towards the target.

» Zanpakuto Name: Honō no kōtei [Flame Emperor]

» Inner World: Kage's inner world is a desolate, darkened battlefield that stretches to the furthest horizon. A craggy plain of rocks, dried blood, bleached bones, and weapons turned downward and jammed into the earth, her Inner World was the site of an ancient battle fought between unseen forces until the world itself seem to die along with them. The sky, ashy and brown and gray, roils with a howling wind and electric energy occasionally flitting through the clouds in long rips of lightning, then thunder. It never rains here, if it ever even did at all. The sun is never visible, constantly circling the horizon just below the edge and just below the clouds. There are times it wants to break through and stray shafts of light occasionally paint the bleak landscape but they are few and far between. It's unclear if it's dawn or dusk.

Scattered about the battlefield between the discarded weapons, lay fits of armor and the sun-bleached corpses that wore it, long since picked over by vultures and other predators of opportunity. The place smells of blood, of death, but there is no one to be found save for Shinkō and the emptiness of the wind. Although the battle is ubiquitous, several major sites are scattered about and occasionally the ghosts of the past manifest long enough to play out their ill-fated final battle one more time before collapsing back into ether and nothingness.

Although he has never known for certain, Kage believes that these battles, these scenes, are one of the many ways his Zanpakutô and his innermost self try to convey their convoluted message to her at the deepest and most sincere levels. Perhaps he is merely finding patterns in the madness, seeking to assign meaning to the unknowable. Perhaps one day all of this will be made clear to him.

Fire & Wind Manipulation: Kage has full control over fire and wind as well as it’s properties. He can fully control them and use them to his advantages like using wind to get up to high places. He can also create clones out of flames using reiatsu. They copy Kage’s every move and they also copy his fighting style as well. He can use wind to make them giant and shape them into anything. He can summon up to 5 clones at a time. The only downside is that they use up a lot of reiatsu so he sticks to only 2.

Blossom Sphere: Kage creates a sphere of wind in his palm. This can be used in many ways. He could throw it for a long-range attack or he could hit his target by striking them in the chest and the sphere would explode.

Appearance:

Wind Blossom Sphere: Kage creates a Blossom sphere in his hand but then creates a propeller made of wind to surround the Blossom Sphere. This could also be used in many ways. He could throw it and let it strike the target or he could just hit the target by using the same way as his regular Blossom Sphere.

» Shikai Release Phrase: Turn the heavens into a never-ending hell, Honō no kōtei!

» Shikai Appearance: Kage’s eyes become similar to his Tulpa form but instead of it being red it’s orange with a rectangle going across the iris. His skin tone and clothing turn light orange and his hair resemble a flickering flame and the lines on his cheek completely solidify, taking the shape of rectangles. His speed and strength become more powerful than his base form and when he uses Kotō, it becomes insanely fast. He can make beastly limbs out of reiatsu to use for defense, agility, and strength.

» Shikai Abilities

Solar Flames: Kage is able to use flames that are as hot as the sun. He can use it for defense and power, he can also solidify the flames to make anything out of it. The flames cannot be dowsed by water and will burn the target until there is nothing left but ashes.

Flame Blossom Sphere: Kage creates a Blossom Sphere in his palm and ignites it which turns it purple. He then uses Kotō to shoot himself towards his opponent and hits them in the chest with it, creating a point-blank explosion.

Appearance:

Flame Blossom Wind Sphere: Kage creates a flame blossom sphere that has a wind propeller on the outside of it which keeps it hovering. Kage then throws it at his opponent creating a massive explosion.

Appearance:

Multi Flame Blossom Wind Sphere: Kage creates multiple flame blossom wind spheres. Kage can use these in many ways. He could shoot all of them one, he could make all of them into one big Flame Blossom Wind Sphere, or incorporate it into his fighting style.
