It's not me, It's you. (Elyss/Ulv)

Strange? Well, if the woman named Tvill is calling David and her name strange, it must be a clash of… heritage? Is that correct? Elyss doesn't know, but a lot about what is going on is lost to her. She’s just a young woman trying to understand herself. Tvill is a guardian who’s come to provide some form of assistance out of… boredom? Care? Concern? Elyss has had many try to help her. Some help a lot while others feels somewhat lackluster.

“Well, Tvill, I’ll leave the fighting thing at that then. As if I need someone flipping me on my back right now.”

She rubs the back of her own head and looks down at her Zanpakuto. “I don’t think fighting will help me with this situation anyway, to be honest.” There must be something she’s not doing right. It’s felt so empty without the presence in the back of her mind. Even that Hollow has been quiet as if that one moment was its last before being eviscerated from her mind and body. It’s all so strange, and she knows little on how to work through this situation.

“Were you created by Ulv actually? You know a bit about her, right? Think you could tell me about her and her Zanpakuto and Hollow? Apparently my issues are connected with her in ways I can’t even comprehend.”

Yeah. There is no way for her to punch her way through this anyhow. Well, she still wonders. The man that was in her head was rather stern in his want for combat. Maybe, just maybe, Elyss will find herself in a fight soon. Though, besides that, her issue with Ulv has been running through her mind as well. Similarities and differences. Elyss feels nothing like Ulv, but Ulv usually makes comparisons between them at times; especially when it comes down to Elyss’ anger issue and passion. Sometimes the redhead wonders if she’ll ever be as composed and regal as the bigger redhead, but at the rate things are going, Elyss doubts she’ll ever be as grand as Ulv. At least Elyss will never be as… ‘passionate’ which may be somewhat good? She could never imagine having a reputation for naughty fun like Ulv.

However, Tvill speaks up about something a bit interesting. Ulv’s backstory somewhat. Elyss has never actually learned anything about this Mirja woman except knowing her existence and death gave birth to Ulv somehow. Soul shards? Guess that’s what it means to have a part of someone in you, but Elyss doesn’t understand why she was chosen out of the whole world. What makes her so special that part of Mirja’s soul came to her? And, why does it fuel her the way it does? It’s hard to think about ever becoming positive, but if Tvill says so, it must be something that’ll occur eventually, right?

“Alright, Tvill. Ulv seems capable of making a lot of things. Maybe too capable. A lot of damn work this is going to be, but I know life isn’t going to give me any easy handouts. My own power doesn’t even respond to me correctly, so… I’ll just keep working. You’re probably going to go back to watching me and this whole island. I’m probably not the only one needing advice or whatever help you could provide.”

Elyss sighs and nods her head a bit begrudgingly. Lots of work. Yeah. She knows that. It’s always a lot of work, and it’s not even an issue of if she wants to deal with it. She has to. If not, she’ll just eventually become a monster that must be put down. She doesn’t want to become a monster; not again. So, she works and works training her body and mind to eventually become something she can be proud of… Something everyone can be proud of. Still, all these trials before her are proving to be rather annoying. One step forward ends up being two steps back sometimes, and her Zanpakuto being unresponsive just makes things that much harder.

“Alri-” And, there it is. That’s what seals the deal. Tvill is obviously something of Ulv’s for sure. The redhead feels her cheek ignite lightly at the random kiss from the guardian and blinks wildly before the figure vanished just like that. Elyss sighs and rubs her head. Great. Now her mind is a bit stuck on that small intimate moment. No way she’s going to be able to concentrate on now, so she just falls back on her bed and closes her eyes. Eventually, she fell asleep, but her mind is filled with harrowing dreams and slightly lewd imagery.
