I. Basic Information
» Name: Madness Raised Corpses
» Age: Deceased
» Gender: Male + Female
» Race: Primarily Humans. A few Iramasha are also present, however.
» Starting Tier: Different hordes start at different tiers. The wave of Zombies spawned from the Doctor's initial battle and mental collapse are the most powerful, starting at 1-2+. The remnants dwelling within the outer ring are 3-3. The massive horde that is moving in towards Bejing in two places are 2-1.
» Association: K-World, Madness Wavelength, China
» Appearance:
» Purpose: For the Madness Capital event on PH, raised to ambush the city and further increase the spread of the Miasma.
II. Personality
» Personality:
Insane
Despite being corpses, the zombies show a surprising amount of personality. They can jumble words together, laugh maniacally, cry, flail about, dance, a whole host of things they could do while they were alive. However, the chain of these events very rarely makes sense; the whole gaggle of them moving about is something more terrifying than anything else.It should be noted that they will not attack those who have been affected by the Madness.
Violent
The other shared trait among all of the zombies is their taste for violence. Some are cannibalistic, and will eat the flesh of those they can pin down. Overall, their purpose is to snap the wills of those who have managed to resist the Madness' effects up to this point. As a result, they will almost always go after anyone who is doing battle with those affected by the Madness, or appear to be moving in some rational manner.
Unintelligent
The vast majority of the corpses do not possess any kind of intelligence. That said, if one were to act as if they were insane, they would be able to infiltrate the ranks of the corpses and move freely between them. However, such an action would be dangerous ultimately because of what would happen if they were revealed.
Gang Mentality
The zombies have one primary thing in common; their love for sticking together. They will move as a swarm with one another, and it is rare for more than a group of ten or twenty to get cut off from the rest. If enough corpses within the city are gathered together, it would even be possible for them to create a new posse of zombies. If these zombies were to gather with the ones charging within the Outer ring, the horde as a whole would become much more dangerous.
III. History
» History:
These corpses were those who have died near Beijing for the last ~300 years. They include corpses from WW3 and WW4, as well as the general populace of Beijing itself. As a result, there are enough corpses to fill several city blocks with their presence. They are not all gathered together. In addition, those who have fallen and died within the city's limits are joining their ranks, which means that the longer they go without being destroyed, the more powerful they will become as a collective.
They have been raised by the Doctor, and as a result of his influence they will not actively attack him or those who have been enchanted by his Madness.
IV. Powers
» Powers:
Compiling Forces
Each post that a significant portion of the Zombies are not destroyed, their tier will increase by a rank and a half. This is represented from the number of zombies overall increasing. When the zombies group together, their individual attacks become more damaging, as they act as a kind of 'receptor' for the Miasma that is filling the city. Additionally, the more zombies that have gathered together, the more durable they are overall; due to the fact that they are zombies, they need to have their arms and legs destroyed to become completely useless. After all, a zombie has no need for a brain.
Durability
The zombies are destroyed when their chest cavity is blown out or when they have lost their arms and legs. They are weak to holy attacks or things of a holy nature; things involving Death do not harm them much. They have a limited interaction with Death's Energy users; while DE users can siphon power from them, the enchantment that gives them life is not routed in Death's Energy, so they are not crumbled to dust by having their DE fields taken away. Individually, they are not very durable; however, once it reaches a point where the raw mass of them are able to absorb the force of attacks, it becomes much easier for them to overwhelm their attackers.
Beacons of Madness
While none of the zombies individually are able to use energy attacks, their pooling resources are able to together act as a kind of 'amplifier' for the Madness surrounding the city. If a person becomes buried within the zombies, they are much more likely to give into the Madness. Alternatively, when the zombies are subdued in an area, the fever-pitch of Madness decreases substantially for the people there, and all who are afflicted by Madness when the zombies are defeated will feel much more exhausted than they did before, a degree of exhaustion as if they had just participated in a fierce battle filling them.
This beacon goes two ways; it also gives the zombies a much stronger indication of who is powerful enough to resist the Madness enchantment. As a result, they will tend to go after the most powerful individual they can identify in an area first.
