Neviah moved the door to the side softly as she walked into her office, shutting her door behind her. She walked to her desk that was a beautiful cherry wooden desk with a basic chair. The desk was neatly organized and very patient friendly. It had multiple diagrams of the human body and graphs with information of human anatomy and a chalk board for brainstorming. The office had 3 file cabinets as well with 3 doors each. The first cabinet was of cured patients that was beyond full records. The second was of patients with new discoveries of illnesses and viruses. This was what Neviah took to start lab works for new medicines and viruses that were new to the books. This cabinet was actually somewhat organized and it wasn't empty, but it had enough cases in it to cover a college textbook. The last was a black cabinet and it was labeled "Failures". Neviah used this to file her failed cases where either the patient died or was un-curable. This was important as it wasn't full, but each case file within that cabinet Neviah memorized...

It was important to her, as she never wanted to fail, and she would learn from each one...

As Neviah sat at her chair, she placed the files in her arms down and opened them, trying to concentrate and get her mind off of seeing another male within the vicinity that she did not know. Yes it was partially her father's fault for making her act this way towards men, but who could blame him? His wife had died, and his sister was an insane woman planning on destroying everything. Midori disappeared and no one knew where Chika was in this time and date. Ceon only had one thing left and it was his child. Even though she was with Unohana and working her way through the Academy and into the Fourth Division, Ceon didn't want to feel threatened by some male getting close to the only thing he loved and cherished...

But the reason that Neviah was having problems with males was because she was just that way. She was very shy and scared of many people. Yes she's an adult and mature, but a personality doesn't change just by growing up, it changes through development and experience. Neviah liked who she was, and even though she became scared of males, she still could deal with them if forced to...

As Neviah continued to try to calm herself down and looking at the papers, she noticed that Unohana had left the exam room and was heading towards her office. Neviah knew what this would possibly be about, but was hoping it would be about the console.

She took a deep breath and observed the paperwork looking professional, and trying to not look effected by her little run in...

Unohana knocked on Neviah's door and said, "It is Captain Unohana." After being let in, she walked to the front of Neviah's desk. She seemed not bothered with the formality, despite Neviah's informal departure with the news of console. "What is it that needed my attention, Third Seat Clixx-Kimura?" Unohana asked. Unohana remained the only person someone could ask why Neviah ran away from men, but Unohana was also the type not to give away secrets for the sake of confidentiality that doctors regarded as sacred as the trust between patients and doctors. With the door closed and locked behind Unohana, Unohana was certain that no one would try to spy and get confidential information and if Unohana noticed that they are being spied on, she would signal Neviah with a single index finger. Neviah is an adult and mature, but knowing to Unohana, Ceon's anti-male actions left a scar on Neviah, making her afraid of men. Her fear of men was possibly from her knowledge that if she was around men, her father will hurt them and Neviah's the type who would not like anyone getting hurt because of her. A random related thought came to Unohana's mind. What would happen if it was the women who are making a move on Neviah; would Ceon hurt them as well?

Nickcca see why she did answer maybe it kind metal thing maybe she the same as he is and has a spilt peroanitly this might of peek his cirouosly but then he deiced not to be noisey about her tought it would nice to find a soul reaper like him. Then he tought maybe she can open to her maybe he sould he never told anyone not even his own step mother this hard for to deside. He stood he start to get windy he thought wait outside for Unohanna and maybe tlak to her maybe he make sence out what he feel the need to open up about it now. He wlaked toward where they went and sat outside the door infront of the room they where rin and sat down and corss his leg and look down on to the floor.

" Maybe I sould mataite on this untill she come out hopefully i make sence i nwhy i feeling and claer mind on this subject." Nickcca close his eyes and started to materate on on the matter claering his mind on all things it started to rian the drop driping on his head reminding him of day he lost his eye. he grunting and moaning slip into a unciouos flash back he he stand i nthe fire it was raining that day he remind that Ancaer that took and object of use for this task was a needle he remind he pick by the sruff og his neck. A shadow was cast unpon this person face all he see was cold icey srimk he see his lip moveing as if he was tlaking he can't whatremnber what he said to him.

Unohana stepped in...

Neviah took a deep breath as she walked in and asked what Neviah needed. Everytime someone said her last name out loud, Neviah wondered to herself how she got two last names. Was her father a Clixx or was he the Kimura? Either way, it was somewhat cool that she had two of them together. Anyways, she looked at Unohana with a smile and calmed herself as her face returned to normal pigmitation. She moved her chair over to the black filing cabinet and looked at it for a moment before opening the top drawr. She flipped through it for a moment, and pulled another file on it. She went back to her desk feeling a little stressed out as, everytime she has to look at one of her "Failiure" files, it makes her wish she could have done something more for them instead of Neviah's fault for not saving them. But she needed to use her mistakes to move on and make a better case for them. She stood up and walked to the other side of her desk, turning the files around so they would be easily seen from their side.

Neviah pointed at the failiure case and began to speak in medical terms...

"The child in this case goes back about 37 years ago when a rouge hollow entered the Rukongai and began to infect innocent civilians. Most were saved and cured but there were a total of 9 cases with a disease that was untraceable. We tried diagnosing a virus to even a possible chemical injury that was caused by the hollow, but we couldn't find anything. It's almost relative to a rabies disease in it's 4th stage. It effects the brain and then connects to the kidneys and starts to infest the liver. Like cancer cells it will begin to shut down the kidneys, and then tumors will infest the liver."

Neviah then grabbed the folder she was carrying and pulled over and opened it to a Shinigami that was under her current care.

"Male about two hundred and thirty-four years of age, 11th Division. He returned from a mission on earth and ended up having the same symptoms. The hollow that struck in Rukongai was eliminated by the 3rd Division and we know it isn't the exact same venom that's effecting the individuals as the White Blood Cell counts are completely different, but the symptoms are related..."

Neviah paused for a moment recollecting on how old she was when she was appointed this department. When she watched that child die, and how helpless she was when the child died before her. It made Neviah disappear for two whole weeks and made her go to where she was most comfortable. She went to the house where she was born, and to see her father. While she was there, her dad didn't come home will a week into her time off. Neviah cleaned the entire house up and took care of her fathers things, but it wasn't till when he walked in the door when she broke down. Neviah ran to her father crying feeling like there was nothing she could do, and the death of that child long ago was all her fault. Ceon didn't know why she was crying, but he held his daughter as she cried. Neviah cried for about 4 hours before she fell asleep in his arms. Ceon carried her into her old room that was still kept the same way when she was a small toddler. Unohana helped Ceon design it for Neviah when she would stay with him and not with Unohana. It was a pink room with rainbows and all sorts of cute things around it. Ceon tucked Neviah in as she fell asleep and Ceon stayed awake that entire night, sitting by her bed making sure she would be okay...

The next morning, Neviah awoke to her father looking at her with a smile. Neviah didn't smile back because she still felt that the life of that child was on her shoulders and that it was all her fault. She didn't ever want to smile and she wanted to be fired as the Department Head of Diagnostic Medicine and she never wanted to be responsible for lives ever again, but that wasn't what her father wanted. Kaizaken, Ceon's zanpaktou spirit manifested as Neviah always loved the little lightning ball and he was hoping to cheer Neviah up, but she didn't want to smile. Ceon understood the stress of failiure, and it was about time that Ceon explained to her what that meant...

"Neviah... Failiure is going to happen..."

Neviah looked up at her father, always respecting his words and wondering what he would say next...

"I've lost many allies. I've lost many friends. But the worst was when I lost your Mother. It was beyond painful and I didn't think I would ever be able to move on. I didn't think life was even worth living..."

Neviah listened carefully wondering what he was talking about. He was obviously talking about when her mother died, and when Ceon became numb. When he did, Unohana was the first to take care of Neviah while Ceon sunk himself into darkness, but after a year...

"But I had you. I had a reason to keep moving forward. I had something I wished to protect. I learned from my losses and changed from them to make myself better..."

Ceon placed his hand on Neviah's forehead as Neviah was beginning to understand what he was talking about, and because of that Neviah finally began to smile. It was later that week that Neviah returned to the 4th Division and to her job as the 3rd Seat and head of her department. It was also because of that, that this case Neviah was not going to mess up again. This time Neviah was going to jump in and get it done, and that was why she needed a console with the Cheif of Medicine or known as the Captain of the 4th Division, Unohana Retsu...

Neviah looked at her Captain with a serious look as she didn't want to make any mistake...

"What are your thoughts, Capt--"

Neviah paused.

She could feel the aura of the male that she accidentally ran into outside and because of that, Neviah began to shake a little. She needed to act professional, but of course this was a little hard as she was still nervous...

"C-C-Captain...?"

Considering that the patient was afflicted with the possibly similar ailment as one of the lost cases does, the current patient would have little chance of survival. But the lost case was a child back then and what she is dealing with was a member of the Eleventh Division, so Unohana has faith that he would have better chance of survival. Regardless of the cases, he was afflicted with a poison and they have to act. "We have to be quick. Locate the origin, judge the spreading speed and isolate the spread. I'll be helping you on this case." Unohana advised as she realized that Neviah was getting nervous. She usually does that whenever she felt a male's aura while not concentrating. She turned around and walked to the door. Upon opening it, she noticed Nickcca sitting. "Nickcca, I know you are having problems, but you are making Neviah nervous and it would be causing problem. How about you go back to your barrack and I will send a hell butterfly to tell you when you can come. Alright?" Unohana negotiated with Nickcca. After that, Unohana turned back to Neviah.

"Neviah. Let us go to the patient and see what we can do."

Nickcca was about to see the same face hahted for all those that dam bule skin the clownish looking fave then he hard someone vioce his sanp out of mediateion and falls and bash his heado n a random thing on the floor. " owww owww owww owww owwww my head who said what.....where is there s hollow let me......." sadly when sanp of meditaieion he goes daydream he about to say something really random untill he haerd said said i nthe poitle tone. " what an ice craem mounti...... oh hi miss Unohanna I waited to wait for you but if busy we tlak aother day untill then or not on most hope side no offince it just hard to tlak about." He look at the shy girl and rsie his orw in confuseion maybe he did to her when he little she afiead of him orrr maybe ....

Well there no time to wonderer on it maybe he tlak to her aother day just he done no wrong to poor shy girl then agian he think he could just how she is with anyone lucky her very naive as hell. " And sorry miss if cuaseing you any discomfort just becuase am a stanger well I must off i bloody paper work to do sadly dam why give that when they know i cant spell oh well i gues sthat the price of being a seated menber." Nickcca head with a frianlet wave to both to them people wonderer how he got even seated he good fighter and all but dam he naive as hell. He runing off into the own barracks wait for Unohanna maybe he hope she might forget all about it well he hopes.

Neviah could feel the change in Unohana as her aura was that from a gentle loving mother, into a serious determined doctor. This gave Neviah's heart relief as she needed Unohana to be her safety net in this time. Kidou could not heal this individual, nor could any known individuals shikai power, so they had to trust in the power of medicine as it was the only option left upon healing properties. In the 4th Division, there are 3 ways to heal a patient and it always starts with Kidou. If Kidou doesn't have the ability, then the use of certain Shikai abilities will be used, but lastly the use of Medicine will take over. Medicine is not really a rarity within Soul Society as it's used commonly for pregnant women as pain killers, and many other things, but when used to diagnose a patient with a current incurable disease, that's when it was rare. But that's where Neviah's team comes in. Her team takes care of the cases where neither Kidou or Shikai abilities cannot heal the patient and the use of medicine is needed. This was what the Department of Diagnostic Medicine was all about.

Neviah's orders were to isolate the spread of the infection and contain it to the best of her abilities. That was going to be hard because they've tried it before. To contain the disease in the kidneys or the brain would be challenging, as if it hits the liver, then it would begin to take over the body and end the patients life. If it's contained within the brain, it would lead to hemoraging and them perminant brain damage. If contained in the kidneys it would give them time in which to try to diagnose the problem. When Unohana went to the door to try and remove what was making Neviah nervous, she took a deep breath. Grabing both folders, Neviah turned to the door and began to walk fast, but as she did, her head as burried into the folders so she wont see the male individual. Not paying attention to where she was going, she accidentally ran right into the wall next to the door at a decent pace...

"GYAH!"

Neviah fell as all the papers flew around and she rubbed her head as it had a red mark from the collision now. Blinking a couple times, she didn't have time to goof around. She quickly gathered the papers and stood up trying to calm down and remove the red from her face because of embarrassment. She then dug her face back into the folder and went out the door passed the male and into the hallway where she removed her face from within the folder and looked where she was going. She walked down the hallway at a quick pace as she went into the pharmecy and spoke with the woman behind the counter asking for some things. After a moment, she was handed 3 seringes and a small bottle. After that, she quickly fled off into the direction of the ICU where she will immedietly get to the care of her patient. Her mind was going and going with possibilities of what was going...

"Contain it, then I need to identify it... What sort of disease is this? The infec--"

And that was when Neviah had an idea. She stopped in the hallway for a moment where she was in deep thought...

"And infection and when given the MRI, he was intense pain..."

Neviah had an idea, and she quickly regained her pace and fled off into the direction of the ICU. It was time to cure a patient...

(Hanataro Yamada)

Hanataro had just got back from his duty's as someone would quickly leave the squad 4 barracks.He would notice that he was from squad 11, and quickly walked into his barracks.Soon he would walk into a hallway as a women would bump herself into the wall.He was going to help her but she seemed to quickly get them in a rush.He glanced over them before she picked them all up to see that it's a sickness for a patient.

"That's strange we usually heal people with kido,or shikai but this one seems to require some medicine"He said to himself as he throught about it some more

He was part of squad 4 and wanted to help the guy out, even if he is from squad 11.He would soon walk to the libarary to look for info and found that this has happened before.The details were very useful but at the same time pointless.He was into making medicine, since he made his pills himself but it seems that they wouldn't work.Maybe surgey would be an option and he could help there.He closed the book and put it back into the top shelf but soon the other books came crashing on him from the top of the shelf.

"ouch!!.... why does this happen to me only"He said as he put all the books but into place and went to find that women he saw with the folders

He would find her in the hallway looking like,she was spacing out.She soon talked to herself as she paced off towards the ICU.Mabye trying to make some medicine for the guy,I should help out too he throught to himself.He soon followed close behind her as he tried to say something becuase his skills with talking to women were abit weak.

"Exu...exuse..m...exuse me miss can I help you with your patient,My name is Hanataro"He said finally without messing up in a calm but weak tone.

Unohana walked straight to the emergency room to tend to the patient afflicted with the infection. When she gets there, he was already aching and would only get worse if she does not hurry. She inspected the patient and with her sharp eyes, she noticed the source of the problem. She has no time to wait for her subordinates to arrive. She positioned her right hand over the patient's head before moving her hand over his body. Her hands glow with brilliance as she tries to slow the spreading. She would have tried to eliminate the ailment, but she knows that she required herbs to procure a remedy to reduce the ailment down to a manageable size, which allows her to simply extract it at its source.

Just extracting from the source now will just make things worse as the ailment will have no source to retreat to, therefore spreading without an anchor. Though her healing talents are legendary, even she could not eliminate the illness on a dime, she needed time and assistance as much as anyone else. The man groaned with the agony caused by the illness. Unohana looks at her fellow healers, "Calm him down, if he tense up, it will get worse." The fellow healers come to her aid and try their best to get the man to calm down and relax. Although they may have done it more efficiently than they have hoped; the man fell asleep moments after they started soothing him.

Neviah was too focused. Her mind was in the state of an epiphany, as she was being controlled by the very thoughts of her mind. Everything around her was a blur and she didn't even notice anything, as this subject was too important. The MRI was not a stabbing pain, and nothing showed up on the screen making the staff, as well as Neviah, believe that there was no metal object within the patient, but the pain was described as a dull pulling within his shoulder region, near the scapula. This made Neviah believe she knew what was wrong. As she hurried to the ICU, she didn't see anything as her mind was in control. She automatically dodged people, and everything was a blur. The only thing she could see was the passage way to the ICU in which where her patient would be located. She didn't hear anything either, as the 4th seat Hanataro was there offering assitance. Neviah didn't even hear him, or sense his aura due to this state of trance...

When she entered the ICU she noticed her staff and Unohana trying to calm the patient down. What took Neviah by surprise was that Unohana was containing the spread of whatever was causing this, and keeping the patient as calm as possible. That was good, but Neviah was about to make things a little worse...

"Metal... It's a metal object..."

The staff looked at Neviah like she was crazy as one of them said that if there was a metal object, it would have appeared on the MRI scan, and that was when Neviah took action. She went over to a nearby cabinet and pulled a magnet out. She then approached the patient and turned him on his side while trying to avoid as much pain for him as possible...

"He said there was pain in his shoulder when we were doing the MRI..."

The one staff member replied to her, "Then it would be a stabbing pain and show up on the MRI. He had a dull pain and nothing showed up..."

Neviah ignored the claim and put the magnet on his back and moved it around slowly. Reaching the right shoulder, near the scapula and the patient started to groan as a sign of distress. Neviah let go of the magnet, as it stuck to his shoulder and didn't move. Neviah smiled as she looked at her magnet prove that there was indeed something metal within him...

"Either he's got metal bones or there's a metal object lodged within his bone. That's why it didn't appear on the MRI..."

Neviah then looked at Unohana with a smile, in hopes that this would be what solved the case, seeing as the metal object within the bone could be causing a leak within the bone marrow and that would answer to the kidney and liver problems, but the brain was still not solved. They needed to get that metal object out for tests immedietly, and that was when Neviah turned to see Hanataro and she jumped shreiking! She fell back on the floor being startled by a male being near her and she didn't even notice. Her face turning red and her breathing becoming abnormal, she realized it was Hanataro, the current Head of Surgery. His shikai is a scalpel which lead him to be fantastic with his hands. That kind of skill made him very precise when it came to surgery and those kinds of jobs.

"H-H-Hanataro... C-C-could you... G... Get that... Thing out??"

She had a hard time talking, but she was reffering to the metal object within his shoulder. She was hoping he could get it out, and Neviah and Unohana can observe/assist in the operation in which to remove it. By extracting that metal object, they can stop the bone marrow leak, and then find out how it got in there, and what it's doing to his body. She stood up awaiting his answer, but as she waited for a response from him and Unohana, she looked at her magnet to realize that, there was no scars or anything on his shoulder...

How did a metal object enter his skeletal structure without and type of main entery?
