Reworked Bankai Ability


Death’s Bargain : Having mastered his bankai Hayden has discovered the true purpose of his ‘ultimate’ ability. It is a fairly simple concept, it takes Hayden and his chosen opponent and locks them into a duel within ‘Death’s Realm.’ Upon enacting the declaration of the duel, they are ripped from their point in time and space placed within a pocket dimension. In doing so a few unique things happen which must be noted:

-Hayden and his opponents tier difference becomes negligible, in this realm they are placed on even footing energy wise. This translate to the other person gaining the same energy reserves as the higher person.

-Once within the realm, both duelists will be brought to their base states of power. Should they be injuried upon being brought, they shall be healed.

-The duel lasts until either party is unable to battle, one submits, or one perished.

-Wounds inflicted in this realm shall only heal for the victor. Should a draw occur, neither wounds shall be healed.

-Wounds sustained within this realm are not normal in nature, they are not only a wound to the physical presence of person but their existence. A wound suffered like this harms the person in a physical capacity (body) and the metaphysical concept of their person. It is destroying a part of them in totality similar to Julian guillotine. It is as if this part of them never existed in the first place.

Naturally, this makes healing them rather difficult. You can't regrow a limb you never had. Or heal flesh you never possessed. However, this is not meant to be a permeant deal provided you somehow survive or walk away from this, one could find ways to circumvent this in roleplay. It's simply just not meant to be a quick fix.

-The duel cannot be infringed upon, unless an entity possess the might to contest Death himself.

-Whoever perished within this realm, shall be condemned to the 666th layer of hell.

This ability is a combined effort of Death, Hayden’s patron, and Hayden. In an attempt to stave off Hayden’s soul being claimed to act as Death’s avatar they struck this deal, allowing Hayden the freedom to live his life as he sees fit. Should Hayden perish in this duel, death shall receive what he desires; an avatar. Should Hayden win these duels, he shall visit upon death worthy souls.

Final Release

Requiem:

Requiem, an act or token of remembrance.

There is a part of Desmond Hayden which is dead. A part which died when Wolf Lionus shoved his hand into his chest raising him from perdition, while also condemning him. In that dead part of Hayden something festered and grew apart of him, a piece of a primordial deity which saw him grow. Which groomed him to be the man he became, through death and destruction. There is undeniably a part of the king which thrives of destruction.

However.

There is also a part of the man which was born anew. One which breathes creation in the aftermath of destruction. That even though he died, he was made reborn into something stronger. Both have made the man into what he is; a warlord and a peacekeeper.

So it would only stand to reason that his pinnacle of power is the synchronization of both halves of him. The reconciliation to both sides of him to remember the man he once was while accepting the man he was now.

I Am Hayden: Hayden when he entered into this form completely sheds the armor of death, becoming something akin to a nightmare. His skin draws right across his frame, almost skeleton like on his lower jaw. It becomes stained black, an increase in muscle mass as he draws out every once of power into physical form. But what is foremost is how his defense changes.

Hayden loses his regeneration completely, completely removing the factor from his arsenal. Instead, it is converted directly into a conventional defense. The blackened skin becoming a 1:1 ratio in it’s durability. The usual energy and conversion based regeneration instead condensed fully. He retains the ability to draw energy from the nearby environment, converting it into raw death matter to augment his defense..

I Am Death: This is the offensive portion of his new form, and is another fairly simple concept. In this form Hayden has forgone all energy based instead condensing all that latent energy into his being hence the increase in muscle mass. This is what truly showcases his grand master level of speed and strength, using both to their peak ability. Hayden usually cannot go all out due to a plethora of reasons but the most consistent is simply his body giving it before he can actually capitalize on that burst. But his regeneration usually helped with that, but by forgoing energy attacks and defenses nearly entirety he augments his body to not only be able to handle the strain caused; but output even more.

This of course pair’d with his martial based fighting style, or techniques, can be done to devastating effect. The idea of splitting mountains, continents, and large chunks of the earth becomes a shocking reality at the highest scale.

This will probably be the last upgrade submitted for Hayden which is just an in general improvement of his character. The reason for this mostly stems from the fact he's had a tremendous impact on the site as a whole, and with him stepping into the role as one of earth's foremost forces I just wanna have him updated to reflect his power. It's been a while since I've submitted an upgrade for him.

Many of the threads listed fizzled out, are just isn't complete. But in this regard I'm not so much using them to show I've worked towards the goal of where he is, but that he is already there. In each of those threads one or more aspect of Hayden is overwhelmingly showed be it from his raw focus, the towering increase in energy, or just how others view him.

As for O'Death, that is more or less an optional thread of me finally bringing full circle Hayden's death aspect. With the connection to that avatar of death coming to completion.
