There was the core juxtaposition between the two of them and was steadily making Kamui less interested in the whole thing. Educational purposes were ultimately the reason he was going to give in to her request, but it was also boring. That was work. He already did his work for the day in even tracking down the relic and claiming it and his gut reaction was not to be excited about having to do even more work. Her entire argument hinged on Kamui believing that fighting her would be especially enlightening for him in so far as personal growth...and he simply didn't. The line that did land however was about making a plan and having one in the event he needed to kill her or someone like her was useful to have...that just didn't stop it from being boring.
"Fine, you win. I am somewhat out of practice though."
Kamui said with an exaggerated sigh, his confrontational pose softening to a more submissive one, as if he resigned to her argument. He had not "sparred" with someone for for close to six years now so it wasn't actually a lie and even longer since he had truly fought, solely, hand to hand. Even if it was not what she expected it was going to be his plan though. He didn't really want to reveal the functionality of his weapons for something like this. He did stay standing though, he had already stretched the bounds of what could be considered appropriate etiquette in someone else's home as it was and was in no rush whatsoever to dishonor his mother's lessons further, he'd wait for Ulv to actually invite him to sit down, assuming she did not wish to get started right away.
"I am your servant, miss. Would you like to begin after your tea or now?"
