Cyrus
Artist: Kota Hoshino - Song: EG Expression II
Cyrus had begun to seek out a great many potential allies for his vision of the world. However, there was one name which continued to echo through his mind. It was one which did not belong to an ally, however, nor to an enemy. No, it was one he simply wished to meet. While of course he was the greatest of existences on a cosmological level, he knew that in his mortal form there were those far beyond him in scope, and those who had already succeeded in plans beyond anything he had even begun. Most of them were those he considered his adversaries in some form or another, and near all of the rest were neutral parties. But...there was a single one he looked up to.
Perhaps it came from some idea of racial unity, but he doubted that very much. Rather, it was most assuredly the ideals she had enacted upon the world. She had sought an equal world, one where all lived freely and without fear of conflict or strife. And when the Earth had not changed, she had simply made a world all her own where such things were true. It was not merely that she had done such things which made Cyrus admire her, but the goals in themselves which she had worked toward. To that end, the divine Quincy had sent an open message, as it were, among all of the Quincy at his command. It was simple, but he hoped dearly that it would reach her.
“Please meet me in Guam on the 26th of June, if you have the time. There is much I would wish to ask you.”
It was simple, nothing more and nothing less. Cyrus stood upon the small Pacific island now with what he knew, consciously, to be a bit of nervousness. It was strange, to think of meeting one held in such high regard. He knew that her time was presumably quite valuable, and he did not wish to take any of it away from her that she might use to her own ends. He knew all too well that he would not much enjoy someone else taking away from his work. Taking a deep, long breath, the Sternritter grandmaster composed himself and looked out to the sea before him.
For now, he would simply await. Nozomi would come. He was sure of it.
